1 lb. ground beef 1 lb. ground turkey 1 egg, beaten 1 small Vidalia onion, finely chopped 1 cup corn flakes, crushed (add more if the mixture is too wet) 2 heads garlic, roasted and pulp squeezed out 2 tsp. Worchestershire sauce 1/2 tsp. ground pepper 2 tsp. parsley, minced In a large bowl, mix all ingredients with half of the roasted garlic, using clean hands to mix and mush together thoroughly. Pat meat mixture evenly into a loaf pan. Spread the remaining roasted garlic on top of meatloaf. Bake in a preheated 350ºF. oven for 1 hour and 15 minutes. This is good, I cooked it last night (and now I have a meatloaf sandwich for lunch)... |
