So, I was flipping through mine, and I thought it'd be an interesting question here. 'My' recipe book is online. Oh, I have a collection of various cookbooks, and a scrap book with some of my recipes stuffed in it, but eventually, it starts adding up, and it's awfully hard to find what you want. Since I'm no purist, I looked around and discovered some online Recipe holders. First, I used Taste of Home I get both Light 'n Tasty as well as 'Simple and Delicious' (previously 'Quick Cooking') so, that's where I discovered their recipe holder online. You can bookmark recipes and search by publication (which is handy when you know that the stupid recipe was somewhere in the summer of 08 in Quick Cooking, but can't find it in any of those magazines...) At some point, they were redoing their website (changing names, style, etc...) So, I poked my head in on FoodNetwork and saw what they had to offer. Currently, it's my preferred cookbook online. You can create categories, add in your OWN recipes, put recipes in more than one category...etc... So, what is your preferred methods of culinary archives?

yah, I did that too, but when I find one that I like, I keep it. too many bookmarks to deal with and you've got to worry about the recipe going bye-bye. |
