First official teaser for Ant-Man aired tonight:

Paul Rudd as Scott Lang / Ant-Man, Evangeline Lilly as Hope Van Dyne (Hank Pym's daughter), Corey Stoll as Darren Cross / Yellowjacket, and Michael Douglas as Dr. Hank Pym / Ant-Man. Also, John Slattery will reprise his role as Howard Stark, presumably as a colleague of Pym's when he first invented the Ant-Man technology in the 1960s. Buzz now is that it's going to be more like a caper story/heist film.

I'm still not too thrilled about this, even though Ant-Man/Pym is one of my favorite superheroes, for reasons discussed in another thread.
Here they are again, so you don't have to go to the other thread

I thought Dominic Cooper was the offical Howard Stark now? Unless John Slattery is a different era of Howard Starks age?

Yup, different eras. John Slattery portrayed an older Howard Stark in Iron Man 2, in the old Walt Disney-esque film reels from the 1970s that Tony was looking at. Dominic Cooper portrayed the younger (1940s) Howard Stark in Captain America: The First Avenger, a role he's reprised in Agent Carter. Since this version of Pym developed the Ant-Man tech in the 1960s, they went with Slattery... which means they'll probably be making him look younger than he did when he appeared in 2010's IM2!

Awesome. Thanks for the explanation!! You know what would be an interesting twist? Recently it was revealed through leaked "character cards" tony created ultron after finding a program in the chutari ships, what if the chutari stole/discovered the tech from Pym o.o and then in a sense Pym still would be the original creator. And marvel had stated multiple times antman isnt the start of phase 3 but rather the end of phase 2.

I saw those! Posted them in the Age of Ultron thread. (There's a cool idea there about how Pym could be involved with The Vision.)

So your idea is that the program that became Ultron, that Stark found on a Chitauri ship, isn't of Chitauri origin but is something they'd uploaded from one of Pym's computers? That could be an interesting twist! So maybe when they attacked, some of them, under secret order from Thanos, were sent to secure weapons that could be of use against Loki (he was beaten on Earth once before) and any other foes, and find the 'seed' of an AI in Pym's computers. When they upload it, it melds with the programming in their ships (maybe the Chitauri do so on purpose, maybe it does it on its own), becoming much more aggressive, taking on some of the Chitauri's destructive directives.
