The Green Lion Historic Lion: The Feribyrl were smaller cats that ranged in the heavy jungle regions of the equatorial Arus. They were among the smaller of the great cats, though their bodies were long and thin. Tufts of fur made a mane and covered their joints. The tails ended in a thick puff of this fur as well. From genetic observation, the Feribyrl were born with white fur, that may have darkened to a light tan as they age. However, remaining pelts were always a dark green in color. This variation was found to be due to a rather interesting habitual camoflauge that the Feribryls developed. Upon birth, the cats were taught to roll in the thick stagnant muds of the jungle region, coating their furs and making it harder for other jungle predators to find the pale coated young. This mud roll took place daily, and helped to foster an underlying growth of a thick algae that coated and stained the coat a dark green in color. This green color made them almost impossible to see against the natural canopy of the jungle growth, and allowed them to become ferocious hunters as they aged. Body Length: 100 Meters Head Height: 15 Meters Specialities: chemical manipulation, speed STR: 1 SPD: 5 FRP: 3 DFC: 2 Physical Appearance: The Green lion is made of overlapping rounded plates that are a deep dark green in color. The coloring on them has a sheen, not unlike a tigers-eye gemstone. This sheen makes it almost appear as if the deep green plates are covered in a fine fur. Upon closer inspection though, the plates are smooth, and actually feel like they are made of a light wood that has been lathed clean. The material, of course, is a metal composite that is very resistant to damage. Short thick chords like vines hand around the neck of the lion, but not as thick as a mane. They also hang from the joints of the powerful legs. The metal underneath the armoring appears to be made of a black cast iron, though it is not as heavy as iron would be. It's eyes are golden, and the tail ends in a thick tuft of the metallic chords as well. It's nose is short, and the body long and lean, but it is one of the smallest of the lions. Elemental Control: The Green lion has the ability to scan and devise chemical compounds to react and counteract any living organism. Acids, poisons, and biological compounds can be instantly accessed and launched at an enemy force. These can cause biologicals to sleep, become paralytic, or bring about their death or decomposition. This ability can also be used in the inverse, to help foster growth, health, or healing. It can be generated in general area clouds, or in a direct breath blast type weapon. The green lion has also shown an ability to control non-sentient matter, such as plants and molds. This could include cellular replication to increase growth thousandfold. Defensive: The Green lion's unique armor plating is light and highly resistant to cellular damage caused by reactive agents used against it. Among the lions it is the lease protected against direct attack from military weaponry. However, the increadible speed at which it can move allows it to be able to literally dodge almost any weapon thrown against it. Without atmospheric restrictions, the Green lion can approach sublight speeds even in short burst maneuvers. Offensive: The primary offensive capability of the lion consists of it's ability to create chemical reactions to impede or damage outside forces. Even when the target is non-biological, there are many biological compounds that can rust, burn, or otherwise damage electrical fields or metallic components. The green lion is also equiped with missile barbs that it can fire, which act as low impact cluster missiles. The optics can also focus light into damaging beams to throw against its opponents. Scanning: The Green lion's sensor array is attuned to the biological nature of its surroundings. It can pinpoint any and all life signs in incoming ships or enemy fortifications, and can even do a more focused scan that could relay vital information on each of the biological entities health and status. |

The Blue Lion Historic Lion: Ryilousobryl were a large cat race marked by a fine gray-blue velvety coating. They lived in the forested regions of the frozen norther parts of Arus. There, they were primarily nighttime hunters, their blue-gray coat blending well in the darkened forests. These lions were very particular about their prey, and often stories were told of a highly protective, almost nurturing instinct that these creatures had for family and even for the human populations around them. Of all the cats, they were the least feared, and were rather revered as protectors and friends to the early Arusian populations that lived near them. Unfortunately, environmental catastrophe caused from the last Great wars led directly to the extinction of these majestic cats. Body Length: 115 Meters Head Height: 18 Meters Specialties: defense, water control STR:3 SPD:2 FRP:1 DFC:5 Physical Appearance: The Blue lion is without a doubt one of the most artistically styled and visually stunning of the Lions of Arus. It's outter armor is made of a blue-gray material that seems to actually flow and ripple, even when the lion is standing still. Beneath these outter plates, the lions interior body is made of a smooth white material, while it's legs and outter sides are made of a crystal clear material that shimmers in the light. Elemental Control: The lion operates a control over water that enables it to draw moisture from the very air to create solid hard-water objects, shields, and weapons. This hard-water is not frozen, rather it is literally a structurally locked elemental form that makes a mass harder than conventional steel. However, the control of water also extends to temperature control allowing for instant freezing or steam generation. The Blue lion also carries an internal resevoir of Hydrogen and Oxygen which it can combine instantly to create a limited supply of water in regions too arid (or without atmosphere) to enable use of its elemental powers. Defensive: The hard water shields that the lion generates are increadibly powerful, making it's shield system the single most defensible in the Lion force. These sheilds can even be used as point blocks for targets surrounding the lion, enabling it to provide defense for other installations or vehicles. The armor that the lion is built from is also extremely resistent to damage, allowing it to offer surrounding protection for the team and/or other possible targets. The ability to freeze or steam the shields also allows it protection against heat or cold based attacks. Offensive: The Blue lion's ability to generate hard water constructs allows it to create a variety of projectiles and bladed enhancements that it can use against enemy forces. The upper limit to these constructs may be imagination and sheer availability of water resources. The projectile weapons, however, are not as powerful as true missiles, but can be made sharp enough to penetrate most standard armoring. The blue lion has also been seen to create bladed weapons to overlay it's own claws and mouth, making use of the increadible physical strength and tough armoring of the lion in melee combat. Scanning: The scanning systems of this lion are based around the ability to detect and disemble possible defensive equipment and armoring on surrounding installations and ships. With a powerful scan, it can detect exactly how much power remains in a sheild, and how best to collapse it, even extending to pointing out structural weaknesses and flaws in energy based integrity. |

The Yellow Lion Archaelogical lion: The Yellow lion was based after an Arusian feline called the Chuchobyrl. These massive cats were sand dwellers, living in the dry, desert regions of the planet Arus, and could be found at most oasis' throughout the desert. Their bodies were dense, and powerful, evolved to tackle the large desert dwelling creatures that burrowed through the lands of its era. Their jaws bore massive sabre-tooth like teeth, used for quickly severing larger creature's spines to bring them down quickly and with a minimal amount of energy expendature. Immense forepaws and a powerful build also enabled it to burrow into the sands to hide and wait patiently for prey nearing the waters. Their coat was yellow orangish, and brindeled with a brown stripping running down it's spine. Body Length: 115 Meters Head Height: 18 Meters Specialties: strength, earth control STR:5 SPD:1 FRP:2 DFC:3 Physical Appearence: The Yellow lion emulates the Chuchobyrl with a broad body and large forepaws. It bares the long 'sabretooth' incisors of the breed as well. This lion is second in size only to the Black lion itself. It's primary plating seems to be of brushed and carved rock, almost like a golden limestone. Around the spine, there is a series of thick pyramidal spikes that have a dark brown weathering that stripes down on the sides of the lion like water stained rock. All across the edges of the frames, hieroglyphic writings can be seen etched into the thick armor. Even when touching it, the feel is that of worn, smooth stone. The stone armor is also flecked occasionally with glints of gold that sparkle in the sun. Underneath the outer armoring, the lion's body is built with a material representing carved gray marble rock, even down to it's claws and teeth! It's eyes are golden green, like pale emeralds. The carve and cut of lion are very reminiscent of those found in ancient Arusian pyramidal tombs. Elemental Control: Earth is the Yellow lion's natural element. Over it, especially when on Arusian land, the Yellow lion exhibits a high amount of molecular control. Using it's massive forepaws, it can burrow with a preternatural speed, or cause siesmic explosions of rock and sand. It's voice also allows a form of seismic pulse that can start earthquakes in an area of a half mile. The systems of the lion actually allow it to break the bonds between the rock crystals, move them and reform them at will. This enables it to make barriers, tunnels, or even projetiles of rock and sand. Defensive: The primary line of defense for the Yellow lion is its stone-like armoring. Despite appearances, the armor is increadibly tough and dense, in fact, it is far heavier than any of the other lion's physical armorings. This is due to a lack of other, elemental or energy based, sheilding. Even in lieu of such shielding, the Yellow lion ranks among the hardest of the lions to cause physical damage to. The weight and density of this armor does make the yellow lion the slowest of all the lions. Offensive: The Yellow lion's elemental control is it's primary offensive weapon. The restructuring of natural materials surrounding it allows it to construct weapons that surpass a diamond's strength and sharpness. It can also create sandstorms of increadible ferocity, or collapse the ground beneath a foe's feet. Also, the Yellow lion is by far the strongest physically of all the Lions of Arus. A strike from one its paws can easily topple a mountain or crack the hardest and thickest of metallic armors. There are also backup weapons of a lesser power in the form of energy blasts from focused crystals, and forward banks of standard capital cannons beneath the shoulder armoring. Scanning: The Yellow lion can use it's seismic purrs to judge out the physical layout of the surrounding terrain with startling clarity. This includes tunnels, fault lines, and physical weaknesses, as well as any hidden features the surrounding earth may hide. It's bark can also be used to scan an enemy structure for physical flaws that may be used against them. |

The Black Lion Historic Lion: The Black Lion of Arus was based after the Vaylinbyrl. These large cats were thought to be among the most dangerous of the modern Arusian felines. They were very large, roughly two meters, and highly muscled. Their coats were red at birth, and turned darker as they aged. Some became almost black in color, except for reddish brown fur on their lower neck, chest, and stomach. They also bore thick manes, colored to match their fur. The danger imposed by them was not simply due to their size, however. They were night hunters, and highly intelligent. Working together in small prides, they would orchestrate attacks on their jungle prey in precise, well planned out strikes. Once the pack had decided on a target, it was rare that their strike would fail. This became their downfall as Arusian people encroached on their territories. They were widely known as dangerous maneaters, and became hunted and slaughtered whenever found. Body Length: 130 Meters Head Height: 20 Meters Specialities: tactical planning, weather control STR: 4 SPD: 4 FRP: 4 DFC: 4 Physical Appearance: The Black lion is the largest of the lions. The rounded outer plates of its armor is made of a black material that absorbs all light thrown at it, giving it a dark, almost shadow like appearance. Beneath this armor, the lion is made of another dark black metal. The only breaks in this darkness are the teeth and claws, which are made of a gleaming silver metal, and the chestplate, which is dark red in color, making a cross that resembles the chest of the Vaylinbyrl. In the center of this cross is a silver shield, emblazoned with a golden cross and crown, the symbols of Arus. The eyes of the massive cat are golden in color. From the neck of the lion, long tendrils drape, similar to the main on its historic lion. On the cat's back is another feature unique to the lion. There are wing pods, with extra sets of repulsors inside of them. They rise from the shoulderblades, and slope back along the body. The wings were necessary to give the large lion a higher speed and maneuverability over the standard repulsor systems installed in the other Arusian lions. This speed makes it the second fastest of all the Arusian lions. Elemental Control: The power of the wind and storm is the Black lion's to control. It's body can channel and use the winds as a powerful battering weapon, with force equivalent to twice that of a category five hurricane. It can also warp the wind, allowing it higher maneuverability and speed than it's size would normally allow. Also, the electrical charge that accompanies storms can be built up within the Black lion, giving off powerful strokes of controlled lightning to strike at its enemies! These charges can be arced across the wings for a wide spread effect, or focused through the lion's mouth as a more direct and powerful single stroke weapon. Defensive: The Black lion has a powerful static sheilding system installed that allows for a sheilding of pure energy. The heavy braids of the mane contain the primary static inducers, and can also create a small field allowing the camoflauge of the lion through the attraction of dust particles in the air. When so camoflauged, the lion appears as little more than a stone statue. The Black lion can also use the winds to it's defense, making physical attacks harder to land properly. The lion's greatest defense perhaps is its armor. The black plating enables a constant stealth sheilding that renders the lion invisible to outside scans. The sheilding and the stealth capabilities make this the second best defensive units in the lion force. Offensive: There are a number of built in weapons ports to the Black lion. Forward and rear gun ports, missile banks along the shoulders, laser weapons in the optics, just to name a few. Add these to the electrical weapons enabled through the elemental controls, and the Black lion is one of the more dangerous weapons available, second only to the Red lion. It's strength is also extremely high, second only to the Yellow lion. This strength matched with the hard metals of the claws, and the capability to control and charge the claws and teeth make it a very dangerous opponent indeed. Scanning: The Black lion's sensor array is based off a highly advanced strategic simulator. It takes in general scans of the area, and can compile that data with feeds from the other four lions to create a very detailed outlook on any battlefield. It's abilities to correctly predict possible courses of action for itself as well as for the other lions borders on the sense of foretelling. In fact, the systems built into the lion do have very spiritual aspects implemented in the technology, and some believe that these aspects indeed allow it to forsee future outcomes of actions on the battlefield. Other notes: The Black lion's size was necessary due to the linkage modules contained within. Most of the solid hardware for combining the lions is based within the black. This neccessitated the add on of the wing units and their extra modules, as well as the ability to control the winds. The Black lion is the most dangerous of the lions. While it is not 'the best' at any one ability, it is the second most powerful in defensive and offensive cabailities, as well as the second fastest, and second strongest. Finally, the Black lion is the only lion that is pre-equiped for operation in deep space. The wings house extra engines that enable it to travel at greater speeds, and the lion is completely sealed and has internal atmosphere scrubbers in place. The other lions can be outfitted as such, they just have not been to date. |

Sub Ro-B 123.13 Project Information These sub beasts were created in conjunction with a primary mother creature for rapid and total civil deconstruction purposes. One would drop the mother creature into a zone that needed cleaning. She would then begin to create these sub-creatures at a rapid pace to spread out, collect more material, and in the process cleanse an area of any and all life. However, this project was deemed generally unusable as the sub-creatures failed on every intelligence test to determine friend or foe. Their primary programming to collect material and return it to the mother creature was intact, but their limited intelligence hampered the mother creature who proved to have no direct control or ability to communicate with the hatchlings. This, combined with the mother creature's instincual lairing and lack of desire to move on once she has actually laired, makes this project useable only for complete and utter genocide for a very limited area. The range approximated by the spiders is a fifteen square mile radius from the mother's lair. This could be constrained by sunlight or radiation restrictions. Physical Description: These sub beasts are about 1.5 Meters in span when standing, and about .75 meters tall. They have six segmented legs that are spider-like in appearance, but end in long scythe-like metallic blades. Their bodies are composite of metal, circuit, and dead flesh (acting as sealant, joint, and muscle capacities) The flesh is preserved during their hatching process (see below.) The body is multi-segmented starting with a wide fat head section, attached to a thick central body section (to which all six legs are attached) and ending with a segmented tail that is 1.5 times the length of the first two segments. The tail ends with two oposing barbs to the sides. Their head section has four eyespots, two forward and two high and back. These eyes are multi-segmented and key primarily off movement and light. They have a double row of mandibles. The body is often covered in limp hair, as hair continues to grow after a material subjects death. There are often metallic plates and circuitry visible through the hair. Creation: These sub beasts are the biproduct of the larger 123.13. The Mother beast will ingest living materials which will then incubate for a short time in the womb section. During this time, the dead flesh will be infused with a protectant and sealant, and then fused with material components to form the rest of the creature. They will issue forth in a standard insectoid egg cluster where they will continue to evolve for only 2 hours before hatching. Cycle: The life span is untested on these creatures, but is suspected to last into the century range. They go directly from hatching to full growth, and will not grow thereafter. They are nocturnal creatures as sunlight is detrimental to the biological matter (not exploding in sunlight detrimental, but an instant sun burn will cause the skin to become dry quickly and can cause deterioration when moved) Diet: Everything. Their mandibles can chew through any material, which they will then return to the host Mother for further processing into new sub-beasts. They are programmed to be particularly interested in moving, active materials. Weapons: The legs of these beasts are both fast and deadly. They can punch a hole through concrete, or rip through metal like it was aluminum foil. The mandibles are even stronger, made of titanium alloys they are designed to chew through just about anything. Also, an acid secretion helps to break down the materials for ingestion and later transferral to the mother's processing system. Armor: The metal comprising their legs allows for a strong defense against incoming attacks. Their flesh, being dead, can absorb a significant amount of damage before seperation begins. The process of preservation used on the flesh makes it resistant to heat, cold, and acid. However, certain types of radiation can dry out the flesh and cause cracking. Ro-B 123 model C Project Information The primary mother creature and processing 'factory' for the Sub Ro-B 123.13 model. The mother unit was the 'seed' placed in the center of an zone that required immediate and total clensing of life. Upon seeding, the mother would begin to create the sub-creatures at a rapid pace. They would spread and collect raw materials for new sub creatures. The mother creature retained a instinctual need to 'lair' in a specific area. These factors created a grouping that would only be useable for complete and utter genocide in a very limited area. The approximate 'range' for the mother's subcreatures is fifteen miles. However, were the mother forced to evict her area... this matter bears need for further experimentation. Physical Description: The mother creature is about ten meters from foot to highest point, and she is roughly thirty meters long from head to the tip of the tail. She four segments total to her body, with a spine and tail interconnecting them all. The first is her head. It contains anywhere from fifty to a hundred optical spots allowing for views in most directions. There is also the maw, which is a meter and a half across, and surrounded with a number of prehensile appendages that can be controlled seperately. The appendages are the first step in the processing of raw materials. The head is attached to a flexible neck, covered with scales and thick hair for protection. The next segment is the main chest cavity. This sement has most of the primary muscular tissues needed to control the legs which run the length of both it, the second segment, and the spine. Both of these mid-segments are extremely armored, and would require capital artillery to pierce. The final segment is the processing center. It is comprised of a thick jelly-like segment. Buried in the depths of this area are the main organs for the creature, as well as the needed 'equipment' to create and hatch the sub beasts. The gel that this is made of is corrosive to the touch, and is recycled at a constant rate. It's thickness cusions and protects any vital organs from attack, and it would have to be removed completely to terminate the creature. This can not be accomplished with conventional weapons. The creatures legs include four frontal legs ending in scythe-like forearms, each over six meters in length. They can rend metal and stone easily. There are nearly fifteen legs running the length of the rest of the body, each covered with poisonous hollow spines. Finally, the creature's spine ends in a tapered tail covered with spines. The tail is prehensile, and emits an acidic secretion. It can be weilded with deadly accuracy. Creation: The creature must be pre-made and frozen for transit and seeding into target destination. Cycle: The life span of the mother is untested on this creature, but it suspected that it could well last a thousand years. They are primarily nocturnal, but can operate fully in the daylight as well. Most of it's time is spent in hibernation to reserve energy for creation of the sub beast. Diet: The mother will tunnel below the target towards the closest pocket of heat. There, she will convert the heat energy by absorbing it directly into her egg sack and store it for creation or for defense. Weapons: The legs of the mother are covered in poisonous spines. The tail has the impact force of a wrecking ball, and is coated with acid. She can eject acid from her maw. The foreclaws can rip through capital ship sheilding if need be. She can burrow with considerable speed. Ro-B Dreadnaught Mark V series Project Information These massive war machines were actually the first in the five part Exitium. The Dreadnaught Mark V is the smallest and ‘weakest’ of the group. Its specialty is pin point termination of a High Level installation or city center. The beast is centered on heavy armoring, along with short range weaponry of several large capital type armaments. It’s effective range is unlimited, and it can literally trudge it’s way across any environment, absorbing enough artillery to destroy a planet, and still be ready to enact total termination of it’s target, tearing through even the most powerful of defensive lines and laying low any amount of enemy installations. Physical Description: The Dreadnaught Mark V (DM5) is built on the endoskeleton of a massive insect, using the behemoth beetle’s natural exoskeleton as a beginning point for armor refinement. The DM5 walks upright on four hind legs, each approximately ten meters across. They are segmented, and heavily armored, but are not made for speed. It has a maximum land speed of 125 kilometers per hour and can not fly. It also has four forward limbs which are thinner, each ending in tri clawed talons. The body itself is thick, and shaped like an ellipsoid beetle’s shell, the underbelly being multi-segmented, with each segment housing weapon banks that the creature can use at will. The head projects slightly from the body, on a multi-segmented neck that gives it good flexibility. There are six eyestalks above a tri-rowed mandible set that house the primary weapon, as well as resource intake. The back part of the shell is smooth, with coloring depending on the behemoth beast used to create the particular Ro-B. It can range from a dull brown color, to a fairly elaborate display pattern. The shell can crack open to allow for wings to spread out, however, they are used for offensive purposes, and cannot enable the creature to fly. Creation: The creature must be pre-made and frozen for transit and seeding into target destination. It is the fusion of hybrid bio-mechanical technology on the larger frame of an insectoid from various planets whose gravity and size allow for the creation of behemoths. The exoskeleton is reforged, laced with high tech materials that allow precise control over energy shielding and absorption. The joints are rebuilt and reinforced to make them impervious to normal attacks. The head unit is always built from scratch and inserted into the main carapace of the creature. These creatures are very expensive to create and very few exist. Cycle: Upon activation, the Dreadnaught will not halt until its primary goal has been accomplished. It can be programmed for multiple targets or destinations, and can be controlled in a rudimentary fashion through enhanced telemetry from an orbital ship. The ship can cancel or restructure any orders that were installed prior to ‘birthing.’ Upon mission completion, the Dreadnaught will curl up and await extraction. Diet: The Dreadnaught subsists on several different intakes. Its shell and wings allow it to absorb and convert solar energy and an increased capacity. Also, the interior section has a rather large power unit housed in the belly, allowing it to work without the solar intake. Finally, it can consume raw materials through the mandibles to convert to fuel, or to re-manufacture weapons (ie missiles) to re-supply itself mid-mission. Weapons: The primary weapon of the DM5 takes the form of a breath cone with controllable diameter and direction. It is a highly radioactive and energized blast that can bore through the hull of the strongest warship made. The radioactivity is designed to offset most standardized energy shielding, as well as upsetting local communication relays and capabilities. Secondary weapons are the clawed arms, each one capable of rending most armored hull plating to shreds. Finally, there are a series of chest segments that can be contracted to reveal missile clusters. There are approximately one thousand medium yield missiles stocked initially. Finally, along the back of the shell, there are bulbulous nodules that can blast high wave laser bursts towards targets behind and to the sides of the creature. Armor: The DM5’s armor has absorptions and tensile strengths. It can withstand immense pressure, energy blasts, and radioactivity. The lower yield of damage that would be needed to crack the shell ranges in the level that would also end up cracking the planet that the DM5 was operating on. The joints are armored as well, removing a great deal of the flexibility, but keeping them from being used as a weakness. The one exception is the forearms. They are the weakest points, but are also not necessary to the operation of the DM5. Edited by Roadbuster, September 19, 2008, 11:49 am.
