So, I swallowed my pride, buried my reservations and finally saw the movie.

All in all it was enjoyable. Bryan Renolds isn't who I think when I think "Hal Jordan" he doesn't have the sheer presence and strength I would generally expect of Hal.

Still he did THIS version of Hal Jordan quite well. We get a much more 'human' Hal in this movie, less super but no less "heroic" and it works well for this story.

The story wasn't stellar but it wasn't bad either, it did a fairly good job of establishing the continuity and introducing all the characters with some quite good acting.

Like a lot of super heroe movies of late I found the finish just...stupid honestly but beyond that it was quite engaging and a lot of fun.

Catch it as a matinee and you absolutely will not be disapointed; lastly you absolutely do NOT need to see it 3D. Rate it $7.50
