See it! If you were at all considering watching this movie DO SO. No it's not some epic thing that will movie you to tears but it is a FANTASTIC movie and a good cut above the "summer blockbusters" we generally get this time of year. The actors, adult and child, were great, the story was engaging and it all came together almost perfectly. I reiterate, see it, you will not be dissapionted.

And stay to see the credits.

I wouldn't call it an Easter Egg, but it's certainly worth watching.

HAHAHA!!! I didn't read a single credit... too busy watching the finished movie the kids shot. Very cool...

enjoyed the movie greatly! The kids were top notch, i easily fell into the story and suspended Real Life because of them. The girl (Alice) was fantastic when she rehearsed her scene, i could see Spielberg's hand in casting her, she was great all the way through. The group of kids was much fun to watch in everyday life, "yes, ma'am"-ing the adults, sneaking in/out windows and buildings, singing together at the curb... and handling the hardships, too.

Spoiler: click to toggle

...i do kinda wish i didn't get the feeling they had run out of time or budget for those scenes... but it was a minor gripe really, and those minor gripes made it a Feelgood Summer Blockbuster worth seeing, definitely.

All in all, i'd give it a 9 out of 10, and i'd spend money to see it again, or to buy the disc when it comes out.
