Apparently a weekend for movie for me ^_^ This time it's RED I gotta say I'm glad I caught it. It was an interesting flick, being about retired operatives dragged back into action thanks to PLOT. A lot more humorous and a lot less action than I had originally expected. Expect a lethal action comedy going into this film. Taht's the big thing to remember here, this IS a comedy, a little dark given the subject matter but mostly just comedy. RED was good, glad I saw it, certainly worth time in the theatres. Not the kind of movie that NEEDS to be seen big screen, there were no HUGE cinemetography endeavors that must be seen on a ten foot screen, that being said it was still artfully done. And, of course, with the actors in question we had some serious chops in here, all good actors all, believable in their hoaky ways. I rate this a $8 flick, but only if you're into action AND don't have a problem with a bit of romance/love-story between your gun fights. |

Other than Bruce Willis, who was in this? "but only if you're into action AND don't have a problem with a bit of romance/love-story between your gun fights." LMAO! Guess they had gun fights for the guys and romance for the girls? Something for everyone? ![]() |

DUDE it was Karl Urban wasn't it!! i missed his name in the creds but all i could think was "there's Vaako!!" LOL It was an awesome movie! It had everything that i like in a movie; action, explosions, romance (though not overblown at all), conspiracy, plot twists, more explosions, big guns, bad-ass chicks with guns.... AND great acting! Def an A+ movie! Don't forget John Malkovich. He kinda made it for me. he plays such a good weird guy LOL
