well I guess you changed the boards you used. Anyways was just going to ask if posts from the previous board would still be considered for upcoming tutorials. Just wanted to know if you were still going to do that harry potter tutorial? Hope you had a great day. Peace |

Hey, I'm working on trying to figure it out right now. Once I think I have figured it out, I will post what I ended up with and if it is the effect that is wanted, then I will make the tutorial. |

Eh, they would be better if I didn't use CamStudio. The program never makes the sound work, it always ends up being cut off at parts or just skipping parts. |

You could always try Hypercam 2, although you get the unregistered thing at the top right of videos, not many people mind about it and i think it's better than Camstudio. |

Hey, for the past couple of days, I've been screwing around with the settings trying to get the effect that you want. Currently I was just working on getting a tube of water that goes up in a corkscrew, and then I looked back to the effect you wanted and realized I wasn't working on the right effect. So just to clarify, you want a spinning orb of water that might have streams of water coming out of it?

the whole effect that I'm after is just almost like what you said. I want to have an existing body of water and then from out of that body of water a large gyser of water shoots out (that corkscrew thing sounds really cool). Then a sphere of water is formed out of that gyser. The sphere as a whole needs to rotate. In addition I would like the water that composes that sphere to be flowing around the sphere showing white tips like the crests of waves due to the speed of flow. Also, when looking at their effect you can see that water that composes the sphere of water is falling on the ground but the sphere doesn't get smaller to reflect the loss of water. I really hope I didn't just confuse the crud out of you lol. It looks like a really long post haha. Anyways thanks again for your help. I can't wait to see what you are able to come up with. I am literally getting excited just typing this. Edited by Captainplanet17, Mar 21 2009, 08:02 PM.

Okay, now that I know for sure what you want. Eh, give me until Wednesday night, to figure it out and post a result, (animation). and if that is the effect that you want, then I will commence on the tutorial. Which would be up by Friday. I hope I can figure it out. |

man take all the time you need. I'm just greatful you're doing it. As to whether or not you can figure it out I have full faith and confidence in you. Your previous work speaks for itself. I am so looking forward to a nice detailed tutorial that I can understand. Those are few and far between but you have an apparent knack for making them. Thanks again man! |
