flying game

I really would like to make a flying game. With helicopters, airplanes, jets, ufo's. Sort off non-serious simulation game. With some basic landscapes but nice flying controls. With verry basic objectives like drop something there, pick something upp, shoot something,....

Just been experimenting a lot with the controls and i'm not managing to create nice flying controls, but i love the idea off flying around in my 'own world' because flying gives a kind off special freedom

I'd name it: dream clouds ( B-) ) how sweet....

Nice idea, im in if we get enough support to make it :) we could do a double project, the Racing game (which looks like it will be called Kartoon atm) and an aircraft game, will it be realistic or toon also?

Well, maybe a post should be put on nystic to see if anyone is interested in coming over here and making this game, it would be very entertaining game to work on :)

Hey layze,
It sounds like a cool game, what would be neat is if we could finish the Kart game and then possibly have the flying game as like a sequel (with you in charge of it of course) Also, if that sounds like a good idea, we could always place a demo of your game into the racing one once it is done. :D Although having two game projects going at the same time may make things hectic, or it may not. It's up to you on whether you want to start the project now or wait a while.

yeah yoda, i think waiting would be a good idea, we have enough work as it is today :). But i'll relaunch it once the Kartoon game starts running off nice. thanks for the advice, your a real good coach ;) (didn't find any other word to describe it )

Well, I just like seeing things succeed, and the way to make your project get the highest probability of success is to wait until people have more free time and can dedicate it to your project. I mean, it shouldn't take too long. Once we get the karts and tracks, all we need is to create menus and to start putting it together.

Even though, i do like the concept. Maybe we can place it as a future project. I also have somethings in mind, only if everyone wants to. Which we will discuss it after the project i suppose?
