Each character starts out with 100 in each Fighting Type Attribute. The players choose a Primary Fighting Type and a Secondary Fighting Type, the other is considered Tertiary. He/she can also choose only a Primary which causes the other two to be considered Tertiary. At character creation you get a certain amount of points to distribute among your Fighting Type Attributes which adds to the 100 you start with. The Primary has 250 points to distribute (350 if no Secondary is chosen), the Secondary 150 points and finally the Tertiary has 50 points (if you have two tertiaries they both have 50 points each). You gain points to distribute by roleplaying in a topic and then when the topic is finished you post in the Topic Check section with a link to the topic. Then a staff member goes through the thread and posts saying how many points you gained from that topic. Afterward you post saying where you want your points distributed and a staff member then edits your profile. The amount of points you gain is dependent on the quality of your roleplaying which is determined by several factors such as grammar, length and character development. Poor grammar, short posts and acting out of character detracts the amount of points you receive. The Fighting Types do not gain points equally as depicted below. Poor roleplaying: 2 points received for each post for your Primary 1 point received for each post for your Secondary 0 points points received for each post for your Tertiary Average roleplaying 3 points received for each post for your Primary 2 point received for each post for your Secondary 1 points points received for each post for your Tertiary Good roleplaying 5 points received for each post for your Primary 3 point received for each post for your Secondary 2 points points received for each post for your Tertiary If you selected no Secondary the points received for Secondary go to your Primary instead and the points gained for Tertiary are distributed among both Fighting Types. Limit As you were probably expecting there is a limit to how powerful you can become (current limit may be increased once it has been reached by a number of members). The limit is placed on the Fighting Types rather than individual stats. The limit for points that can be placed in your Primary Fighting Type is 10000 As for your Secondary the limit is 8000 Tertiary has a limit of 6000 If you have no Secondary the Primary fighting Type's limit becomes 12000 whereas the other two (now considered to be Tertiary) both have a limit of 6000. This means that if you have Close Combat as your Primary Fighting Type and your stats are as follows: Close Combat (Includes Zanjutsu and Hakuda) This type governs your overall combat ability. The points you gain in this type can be distributed among the following attributes: •Strength: 4000 •Dexterity: 3000 •Analyze: 3000 Assuming you also have a Secondary Fighting Type this would mean that you could no longer gain any points for your Close Combat. Temporary bonuses, including a Vaizard's and Prime Arrancar's transformation can exceed the limit. Edited by Treizi, Feb 10 2009, 12:28 PM.
