Ghataria

Vizard Template

General
Name:Ghataria Maia
Nickname: Weaver
Age: 233
Gender: Male
Division: 6 warrior, 7 Expert, 1 Champion King
Rank: King

Description
Height: 5'6"
Weight: 127 lb
Hair: Ghataria’s hair is a rather simple shade of sepia, with the strands just slightly lightening towards their tips. He typically lets it grow out longer than most, with sharp clusters of hair falling to his shoulders and occasionally dropping into his field of vision.
Eyes: Despite the fact that his father’s lineage suggests that he should have inherited deep brown, if not black irises, he instead took the vast majority of his pigment from his mother’s light blue eyes, resulting in his being a somewhere within the range of teal and viridian, albeit lighter than what could be expected.
Appearance: His appearance does not put off a lot, as he does not have enough sculpting in his body to seem like a combatant, but on the same coin, he doesn’t seem physically weak enough to be a noncombatant either. Probably one’s best guess would be that he were someone that fought on the sidelines, avoiding combat whenever possible due to a lack of proficiency in the subject. If something sets him off, one will quickly realize that this is definitely not the case, and that he is actually a fairly competent battler on most fronts. As this façade is one of his better trump cards, he makes an attempt to not reveal more of his body than what he needs to, and to keep his weight and other aspects of his fitness level well balanced.

Indeed, if it were not for the sheer fact that almost literally no one knows his skill set, he would be one of those people that sits on the sidelines and then jumps in when allies need support, however when a trump card for him is revealed, it is typically something meant to end a fight, rather than initiate it. As the scientist that he is at heart, much of his time is spent taming his creations or harnessing bolts of lightning on some far off mountain range, something that comes to need some degree of physical ability to conduct properly. However, because of that squishy coating and the nature of his interests, many may look at Ghataria as some lazy, laid-back person.

So far as specifics go, his unruly sienna hair droops down his rounded skull, jagged points sloping off at strange angles. Easily swept up in the breeze, his hair is in a constant spring like struggle against the forces at be. Perhaps then, it would come to no surprise that this hair tends to fall into the path of the typically calm viridian eyes’ gaze on the world. Aside from the features of his eyes and hair, very little stands out amongst his face, its features all being relatively slender and average, with no noticeable blemishes throughout.
Clothing:At a quick glance over, Ghataria may very well look to be wearing something similar to that of Shinigami captains, however with a more extended look, one could probably make out the less than eastern theme to his clothing. He is easily picked out in a crowd because of the overly stainless lab coat that just to happens to be his signature article of clothing. The rest of his clothing seems to contrast against this very science related motif. He wears a black, v cut necked wife beater that hangs loosely about his waist. His lower garments consist of a pair of black jeans, held loosely up by a black belt with silver buckle. On his feet, he wears a simple pair of black sneakers with white soles.

Perhaps the most notable feature one will find is that Ghataria carries no item that obviously stands out as a Zanpakutou. This is because his zanpakutou is in fact, in the form of the Celtic stylized cross and rings he wears about his neck and fingers.

Personal
Personality: From his appearance, most people tend to jump towards one of two conclusions about Ghataria. One is that he is lazy, and the other is that he is unmotivated. Both such ideas are most definitely not true. He only appears lazy because he is too motivated in thinking about something to actually do something not "lazy." Some probably think that these methods are madness, and that he actually has no idea what he is doing, but once that light in his eyes turns on and tools start flying, they'll come to realize there are methods behind his madness.

He is probably most easily found on the top of a radio tower, the bridge, or hanging in a tree in some obscure location of town. He is relatively fond of high places, in part because it allows him to observe the town and see if anything bad is occurring, and also because it gives him a view of things that might inspire a new series of Kidou (For example, blink was inspired by the lights on radio towers). This is possibly one of his biggest inspirations, as most Kidou are simply based on a standard linear attack path or on the idea of putting up a wall. This inspiration goes to such an extent that he will intentionally draw battles out just to see another's custom Kidou in action, so that he may understand it to an extent that allows him to duplicate or improve upon it.

His largest motivator is what he calls his sense of “justice.” He has actively sought to discover the reasoning behind many different individuals’ and organizations’ actions. He came to the general principle that the main driving force was what this side’s sense of morality told them to do, and it frequently involved the utter hatred towards those things that did not hold the same standards as them. In part, he sees this “justice” in a somewhat unlikely place – Kyoto, and thus is the reasoning that he moved in and joined up with the Vizard in the area.

Goals: He is rather simple minded in his goals, whose intent is clear. He intends to do two things for his primary goal. The first of his goals is to acquire vast amounts of knowledge, of kidou, the sciences, and multiple other fields so that he may become as strong as he could possibly imagine, so that he can then pass down this knowledge and power to those around him. Secondly, he wishes to re-establish order amongst the factions, understanding from experience what hunger dwells within a hollow, the desire and need to control that urge, and the fight for survival when your home has become a warzone. These two goals though, are all that he usually details on, although they all narrow down to one sole purpose - to protect those of which he leads, and to keep harm from besieging them.
Fears: Ghataria's fears are all summarized by a single, simple term: failure. Being put into such a high position amongst the Vizard, it is his duty to attempt to make things work - to protect those under him until they too may become strong enough to protect others. It is in his mindset that should he fall back before one of his allies, fall while they are still on the battlefield, or lose his life without a suitable heir, he will have failed them, and the future generations and growing Vizard of the world. Thus even as a man who cherishes knowledge, it is not the unknown that frightens him, but the ever looming possibility that until perfection, he may fail in his duties.

History: Ghataria was born in the typical Vizard way, to a female shinigami and a male arrancar, a strange combination to say the least. Sometime before his birth, his father became enraged for whatever reason, threatening his mother, and she reluctantly, took her gathering dust zanpakutou to defend herself from the now aggressive man, sending his soul into the afterlife of soul society, leaving her by herself back on earth. When the child was born, he seemed a completely normal plus, and she named him by the way of what his father had wished, adding her own little twist on it. Taking the names Ghazi and Tariq, she merged the two, into something she took to symbolize her thoughts of his future - someone who would be the champion and guide of people through their darkest times.

Skipping forward a few years, Ghataria has gotten to the age of thirteen, and his mother gave him the necklace his father had left behind in his death, believing it would serve as a charm against his injury. Unfortunately, it seemed to serve the exact opposite purpose, as over the years since he donned the necklace, his dreams were full of shadows, blotting out his pristine world of crystals and mirrors. By the age of seventeen, he had begun trying to free himself from this now world of nightmares, and to bring back his reality, his world. This was the first time Kyojitsukonkou spoke to him, and in speaking its name, his world brightened, as from the necklace came a set of four rings. His fate had been decided.

By the time he reached the age of twenty one, he had moved out of his home, preferring to live in the isolation of the surrounding desert. In this dark, open void, his fight for control began. He confronted the shadow figure in his mind, striking against it, and driving it into his subconscoius for the time being, and gainint a mask similar to his present day one, aside from the fact it was not a single veil, rather it was a series of tassels. Taking one of these, he found himself overcome with the raw power contained within, as it served to be his first experience with kidou or cero. Travellers in the desert would often make remarks about seeing lights on the horizon, bright streaks going through the sky, or false suns illuminating the terrain, not knowing that this entity was Ghataria, in his first bit of training.

It took a while for the Vizard to finally catch on to his presence, and upon finding him, he had lost track of time, and to a slight extent, reality, now being eighty nine years old, and rather well versed in his abilities with kidou, his skin having been toughened and scarred from backfires and rebounded spells. He was brought under the guidance of the sixth division of the vizard, who would rehabilitate him and make him able to stand again in the world of the living without seeming too strange - although he was already strange, given his strange dialect, and the strange phonetics he used while casting the incantations of his kidou, among other things.

And yet somehow, they succeeded, without having to put this diamond in the rough to rest. He seemed to fit right in, and he set to work educating himself, spending the next unknown number of years reading about basically everything that he wished to in the depths of the library of the Vizard, where he was usually seen tucking his frame into a bookshelf to sleep or read high from the floor and about as far away from people as he could get. There was something he seemed to be searching for, although no one could exactly pin down what that thing was exactly. One day however, he requested a division transfer for whatever reason, not wishing to be under the eye of the men of science anymore, preferring to be around those who attacked at range with kidou and other abilities to be unmatched.

What exactly did Ghataria do to get into the division? Nothing shy of nearly shattering through five defensive barriers from nearly an entire length of one of their underground training facilities away. Boy, was he in deep now. He had just blown onto the Vizard scene some fifty years in the past, and he was the next in line for the division expert. Well, that time would come soon enough. Give him another few years, and the entire hierarchy of the group has moved up, the Champion of the seventh division retiring to enjoy his life a little more. Now, came the time when Ghataria would really start to shine. In the time that he had been reading, he had developed a few skills, and a personal ethic that he retains to this day, taking up a more diplomatic and nurturing aspect to his division and those under him, teaching them little tidbits of what he knew.

In time, he was noticed for this, and was selected to become a member of the first division, who they would send out to act as ambassadors for the other races. This was some thirty three years ago. Skipping forward, relations with the Arrancar were growing harder, and Ghataria was now the captain of the first division, effectively acting as the public image of the vizard while trying to loosen the tension between the factions. Something snapped though. Something big. There was a war suddenly, and he had to fight against what he wished to preserve. Now, his battle prowess showed as the assault occurred. His attacks and abilities were spoken of as something similar to a massive artillery position, taking out targets from afar and up close with destructive spells of shinigami origin and hollow origin alike.

The dust has settled somewhat, and with the recognition he has recieved from his defense of Kyoto, the Vizard nominated and elected him to their highest position of respect and authority - the king, where he now presides, keeping an ever watchful eye and protective wing over the denizens of earth, trying once again to establish the peace that he had lived in for so long.

Combat Info
Kidou:
Name: Shokubai (catalyst)
Number: 1-95
Type: Utility
Element: None
What is it?: This kidou probably should not be considered a kidou, as it is a direct slap in the face to the noble art that is the use of Kidou. Never having been formally trained with kidou, and possessing his shikai from a young age, Ghataria produced a technique that would allow him to throw off his reiatsu in some way such that he could use it for "weaving," in the form of his unrefined kidou. Simply put, this is an expulsion of some amount of reiatsu required for Ghataria to perform a technique. This in itself holds no power other than a way to make clouds of his reiatsu and expend it further.

Name: Matataku (Blink)
Number: 13
Type: Utility
Element: None
What is it?: As the name suggests, this kidou causes another kidou to "blink" or flicker from an off state to an on state at the user's choice. This has many practical uses, from being able to cause the effects of a kidou to go through an ally causing no harm, or to laying several dormant kidou in an area to act as traps. The act of forming the kidou into "traps" is commonly referred to a crystalization, as the kidou seems to be trapped in an incredibly small crystal that detonates upon a given target entering its field. (In this way, one can keep kidou held in "reserve" that have been cast beforehand)

Name: Agaru (Increase)
Number: 25
Type: Amplification
Element: None
What is it?: This Kidou is a untyped kidou that Ghataria developed for use of enhancing his own techniques and acting as a catalyst for his bankai's Kidou Channeling ability. This kidou, when used as a dual incantation can either increase the power of the target kidou by roughly 20, but when used before channeling an already existing kidou, this increase is around 30. Because of the complexities involved in adding this kidou to a normal one, it can only be used once every five posts. As it is more along the lines of adding raw power to a channel, it may be used once every two posts for this purpose.

Name: Bokasu (Obscure)
Number: 28
Type: Binding
Element: None
What is it?: This kidou is relatively simple, but a great utility in practice. When it is used, the target's reiatsu, and anything effected by it, including other kidou currently cast on them, changes to resemble that of another individual, or to completely hide the target's reiatsu alltogether. If the target flares up their own reiatsu or initiates an attack, this effect is immediately broken.
Activation Command/Chant: "Watcher of the night, hold my secret."

Name: Shimoku (Purple Tree)
Number: 31
Type: Infliction
Element: Poison
What is it?: Focusing their reiatsu into their index finger the user is able to strike a foe directly with this finger and temporarily poison them for a short time (one-three posts depending on strength) in order to reduce their speed, strength, stamina and defense by 10% for this short time. However this effect can stack up to five times, potentially halving all of a target's attributes for a short time. However on the third and fifth use the user is also inflicted by the poison as it rebounds.
Activation Command/Chant: "Envenom."

Name: Tsuriboshi (Suspending Star)
Number: 37
Type: Binding
Element: None
What is it?: Simply the creation of cushions of spiritual energy, each suspending star is a cushion for falling objects, anchored to a certain point by a “rope” of spirit particles. Generally a safety net, it requires only a brief chant, but in times of emergency, the chant is often ignored. If the chant should be ignored, however, the user must remain focused on maintaining the kidou.
Activation Command/Chant: "Hang from the silken sky, shine as the star."

Name: Kyōmon (Mirror Door)
Number: 45
Type: Bakudou
Element: N/A
What is it?: By focusing their reiatsu into their hands, the user is able to release a burst of energy that forms into a crystal glass 'case' around a certain area no larger than 15'x15'x15' in size. This is a simple but oddly powerful barrier kidou that is capable of stopping attacks equivalent up to a level 70 kidou from the outside, but only up to a level 5 kidou from the inside. Further, the user can choose to forgo the chant without loss of power, but they must remain concentrating on the kidou or else it will then shatter.
Incantation/Chant: "Unbind the gateway in the sky, let loose the eyes of heaven. Let the powers of the divine divide, and the reflections of the pattern rejoin!"

Name: Hyapporankan (Hundred Steps Fence)
Number: 62
Type: Binding
Element: None
What is it?: The user condenses their reiatsu into a rod, focusing their spiritual energy wholly on it to create it. As such, they wouldn’t be able to do anything while preparing this attack, but after the rod is formed it can be thrown much like a javelin. Upon leaving the user’s hand, the flies a few feet before disintegrating into a rain of shorter rods, used to pin the target to their surrounding. The sheer volume isn’t the only key to this spell’s effectiveness, as even the short rods exert an incredible force to immobilize what it hits.
Activation Command/Chant: "Brimstone and fiery coal, melting time inside a glass."

Name: Kuyō Shibari (Nine Sunlight Traps)
Number: 79
Type: Binding
Element: None
What is it?: Creates eight black holes that emit spiritual energy in the personal space surrounding the target, with a ninth black hole manifesting in the center of the targets chest. This is a very very powerful holding spell, able to restrain targets easily if the entire chant is given as the gravity by all the black holes works to restrain the target's body and reiatsu, sucking it in constantly all around them.
Activation Command/Chant: "Grimace and reflect, be the fissure between the divide, the stalwart defender shall precede."

Name: Danku (Splitting Void)
Number: 81
Type: Binding
Element: None
What is it?: Danku creates an energy barrier in the form of a rectangular wall. According to Byakuya, it is capable of stopping destructive spells up to #89, for the reason that many of the higher arts attack in an indirect fashion. When directly confronted, it is commonly believed that no kidou can breach Danku, but this is mere sterile conjecture. Physical assaults also seem to be impeded by the barrier, but it is far more likely that such an assault will breach the barrier than a kidou.
Activation Command/Chant: N/A

Name: Seiiki (Sanctuary)
Number: 97
Type: Binding
Element: None
What is it?: This Kidou could be viewed as a hybrid of Tozansho and Danku, in that this barrier technique could hypothetically hold itself up almost forever, should it be cast with its incantation. When cast without the incantation, as it frequently is, it creates a brief, incredibly high energy barrier around the user and anything else within its field of effect (10 meter radius sphere), capable of taking on most any Kidou whose level is below 95, effectively any form of cero, and even a frontal assault from shunko or the dreaded Kidou neutralizer hanki. The issue with this ability is that such precise control is required that the user is rendered incapable of performing any other action while upholding the barrier (although others inside the barrier can still launch attacks from within). When fully cast, the Kidou is capable of sustaining itself against most any assault indefinitely, and is capable of distinguishing friend from foe to allow allies in, as well as covering a near limitless range.
Activation Command/Chant: “Mountains stalwart. Infernos blazing. Thunder cracks. Oceans roar. Blades sing. Heavenly ramparts fall as oblivion strikes. Earth, Fire, Wind, Water, Steel. Rise to my call and set forth beacons towards the unyielding light. Guide our hearts from this darkness and shelter our souls with higher purpose. Angels on high proclaim our powers. Bear us to this final hour.”

Techniques:
Cero (Zero):
Cero is the most widely known hollow ability due to the fact that it is incredibly easy to perform. Once a Hollow simply learns how to gather its energy, it can fire the blast with varying degrees of power, ranging from trivial to extremely lethal. Cero is the most common hollow ability; but while it is slow, it can also be the most powerful.

Eishouhaki (Without Chant):
The perennial ability of a skilled kidou caster. This ability enables the casting of lesser spells without the use of an incantation with only minor reduction in kidou power. (Note: this is not an excuse to kidou spam)

Gakari (Hold):
Another kidou-like ability, Gakari works by focusing the user's Hollow reiatsu into their hands then imbuing it with a bakudou-like spell, before physically throwing the created orb of energy at a target. If hit, the target will be physically bound by reiatsu chains for a short while. However if a target is strong enough they can break free of these chains.

Gouryuu (Link):
A very useful ability, by threading their mixed reiatsu through either a Cero or a Kidou technique, a Vizard is able to attach a technique of the opposite type to the first one, allowing the technique to have the properties and strength of both powers.

Hanki (Reverse Demon):
This technique nullifies an opponent's Kidô spell by hitting them with a perfectly opposite surge of energy. This technique is very difficult to control as if the amount is off by even the smallest iota it will fail. Best used for pure kidou specialists.

Hierro (Iron):
Hierro is the arrancar's most treasured trait, as it can protect against nearly any type of injury for a surprisingly long time. Akin to the Shinigami's Laminate ability, a blade wielded by one too weak will not likely penetrate the Hierro, but one wielded by a stronger adversary will certainly rend the skin with enough effort. Certainly not infallible, Hierro is a reliable attribute for any bloodthirsty arrancar.

Sujeción (Subjugation):
By momentarily increasing their reiatsu output by massive amounts the user is able to boost their next three attacks by 50% as well as doubling the energy output of each of these attacks. This technique also has a secondary aspect to it, in that a large boost of energy will rise up behind the user in a unique form to each user.

Strengths: Although it is true that his knowledge and cool headedness gives him some kind of a mental advantage, Ghataria's strengths become glaringly obvious when he enters a battle. He is not a man of Houou, Hakuda, and to some extent, even Zanjutsu, his specialties making him very akin to a terrestrial tank, something with thick enough of a hide that things don't easily damage it, and an array of powerful kidou that tend to leave the enemy nonexistant post attack. Indeed, with his arsenal of high level kidou and ocean of reiatsu reserves, his form of battle is one of a very deadly laser show. His flesh could probably classify as an exoskeleton, such is its strength and resilience, allowing for only the sharpest of blades or the strongest of blows damage him.
Weaknesses: Ghataria tries to focus on eliminating his weaknesses, but when it comes down to it, his weaknesses give him a hole in his armor that he could do without. First off, he it not what one may call "fast" in the slightest, not possessing any of the footwork finesse of his peers; if he gets into trouble, chances are he won't try to outrun you. Melee combat. Although he is competent enough to wield a sword and is able to match non specialists with fists, once other techniques begin to be added on, Ghataria's ability is rather quickly eclipsed.
Combat Style:Ghataria would enjoy it if he didn't have to fight due to the more destructive nature of his techniques, although he very frequently is drawn into quarrels for whatever reason. His "test shot" is not what one would normally think of as a test, and is usually a full-blown high level destructive art to quickly and efficiently put an end to the combat immediately. If this isn't successful, he will wind down his kidou to still semi-high levels, usually above level fifty, and just observe and bend his opponent(s) to his will until he wishes to strike, at which point, it's usually checkmate, particularly when he activates Sujeción, dons his mask, and had bankai all deployed. One would most certainly not want to be on the receiving end of the devastating combination.

Zanpakutou Info
Zanpakutou Name: Kyojitsukonkou
Sealed Zanpakutou: Kyojitsukonkou takes the form of a Celtic styled cross and four of the same styled rings.
Spirit Name: Kyojitsukonkou
Spirit Appearance: If anything, Kyojitsukonkou can be perceived as a swirling mass of barriers and mirrors, casting itself as whatever it so wishes, in order to disorient and confound its foes. Generally, it takes the form or a seemingly infinitely stretching spiral of mirrors that flash in and out of existence as they swirl around some unknown focal point. If one can probe through the multiple layers of Ghataria's consciousness, and reach the heard of this storm, one would see the ethereal humanoid form of Kyojitsukonkou, composed of fluctuating waves of light and transparency.
Spirit Personality: Kyojitsukonkou is relatively calm and meditative spirit, clearly reflected in Ghataria’s apparent laziness. He enjoys simply sitting in the peaceful inner world of Ghataria, surrounded by his network of mirrors and infinite white slate, that he frequently changes the scene of through his mirrors and walls.

Shikai Release Phrase: Arawasu jijitsu, Kyojitsukonkou.
Shikai Appearance: Unlike most shikai, Kyojitsukonkou does not change its appearance when activated, the only difference being that the jewel in the cross becoming clear, rather than black. Because of the minimal expense of calling upon his Shikai for extended periods of time, if he enters (is not in a thread when the fight breaks out and comes in later) a thread, it is a safe assumption that he is in Shikai.
Shikai Abilities:
Barriers: The fundamental ability of Kyojitsukonkou deals with the creation and shaping of flat surfaces of reiatsu. With this ability, the Zanpakutou can produce up to six barriers, with no more than ten square meters of surface area divided amongst them within ten meters of itself. These barriers can be used both offensively, acting similar to roughly a level 60 binding art in blocking power, and a level 50 art in attack power (although the level used is frequently less than that). The barriers themselves are able to bend, reflect, and refract light in a multitude of different ways, being able to make figures appear closer, more distant, in another location, or not there at all.

Transmutation: This ability is what Kyojitsukonkou is all about, and is one of the sole reasons that Ghataria can do the crazy feats of kidou he is able to do at all. This ability allows for him to change many aspects of his destructive or binding arts, such as splitting them into multiple weaker kidou, making a normally linear attack become an exploding fireball, and a whole array in between. It is with this ability that he is able to produce blades, armor, or other weaponry out of his kidou, and is the reason why his only destructive art is one of incredible varying strength. With this, he is also able to change the element of a particular cast kidou.

Ressonance: This secondary ability and offshot of Transmutation in a sense, is one of the most self-preserving and sneaky little techniques of the blade. After casting a kidou, a residue of spirit particles and unrefined reiatsu is usually left behind when casting a kidou, and is why many kidou are extremely inefficient at doing exactly what they do. With this ability, Kyojitsukonkou takes some of that residue, composing roughly one quarter of the initial spell's value, for use in other techniques in some way, or to add to further techniques. After casting a level 20 art for example, the blade would absorb 5 residual power, and be able to form something akin to a level 5 art out of transmutation, or add it to another technique, like adding it to a level 15 art and producing another level 20 art.

Bankai Release Phrase: Bankai, Kyuukyoku Saiketsu.
Bankai Appearance: Much like in shikai state, nothing visibly changes, other than the color of the gem in his necklace and the color of the background in his rings, which are now both clear.
Bankai Abilities:
Kyojitsukonkou retains all of its abilities form its shikai state, however his Barriers ability and Ressonance ability have been modified in the following way:
Barriers: He can now produce any number of barriers within thirty meters of his body, whose combined surface area does not exceed 100 square meters. They can have up to the power of a level 85 binding art i blocking power, and a level 75 art in terms of attacking power.
Ressonance: Now takes one half of a kidou's power.

Inner Hollow Info
Inner Hollow Appearance: Ghataria's inner hollow appears as the direct antithesis of Kyojitsukonkou. Yes, its illusionary, blurred form still exists, but there are no mirrors, no reflection of light. Its presence is beckoned by the lack thereof, and when he rampages throughout the inner domain, the shining crystalline world shatters into a smoke filled, conflagration of shadows. As it moves, smoky tendrils pursue it, leak from it, cast the illusion there are more than one of it, making him a difficult foe for Ghataria to come to face.
Inner Hollow Personality: Much like ghataria, and very much unlike Kyojitsukonkou, he has an insatiable appetite for power and knowledge. He prods at Ghataria when he passes on information, scolds him internally for showing mercy, wishing to sink his claws into their minds and powers, to extract everything and anything they know and what they can do for his own personal means. His malice is not something to be provoked, and when one brings up something he doesn't know or cannot do, he puts his all into ending that person, and pushes Ghataria more towards violence when the mask is called forth.
Hollow Mask Appearance: Unlike the vast majority of hollow masks that are of a bone white color with intricate patterns and striations, his is rather simplistic. It is formed of a single black band, a halo of slate, wrapping around his head, with a pitch black veil dropping down to cover his face, obscuring the view of his eyes and his face entirely, although he can still see out of the material. From the rear of this halo, there are thirteen braids of a similar material that fray around shoulder level into a series of tassels that then trail down to his waist. Grabbing one of the tassels and yanking, for anyone other than himself, simply removes it from the band and allows for it to disintegrate with little to no resistance.
Hollow Mask Boost: With his mask on, only one aspect of Ghataria changes - his kidou. While the mask is on, for each tassel removed from the mask, the kidou he casts become 10% more powerful, and for every two removed, one of the posts on his mask duration is lost, as one is added to his cooldown period. If he completely removes his mask, dissolving it into his kidou, his next two techniques have their power tripled, and he can no longer use it for the remainder of the thread.
