Located in various places around Soul Society, there are a variety of training grounds where many Shinigami can be found training at all times during the day.

The large system beneath Soul Society, that very few outside the Fourth Division can navigate successfully. If you get lost down here, you'll probably die for want of a rescue party.

A certain portion of the Souls in Soul Society, as well as a number of Shinigami, come from the Noble Houses, and this area is where their mansions are set, so they can live their peaceful-ish lives.
