The cold, yet sunny Russian day was having a weird effect on Ginger's gigai. When she was out in the sun, she felt really weird mixture of cold and warmth. However, in the shaded areas she was freezing her tookus off. "Brrr..." she shivered as she wandered through the streets. The woman was wearing one of her trademark jumpsuits with a large, puffy winter coat that made her seem like a mass of black with large white winter boots. The reason that she was in Russia wasn't for a job, which was seriously odd. Ginger temporarily resided on Putin because of the wishes of one of her kids. 'Mahou Shoujo Hime Shine!'. They were a Japanese pop idol act, touring the world due to their overwhelming popularity because of their smash hit: ❤Being Princess is Happiness❤. The video transcended race, nationality, gender, musical taste and any other barrier one could imagine. A child that Ginger took care of, Lazus, wanted to see the group really badly. When the woman went to search up tickets and prices she had found that the Korea, the country in which Ginger and her children lived, tour dates had all passed and only Russia was left. The child was extremely adamant about seeing the group, tickets and airfare were affordable, and school was on break. It seemed as if a perfect storm had brewed and forced the motherly arrancar into travelling to Russia. There was a few hours to kill before the concert, which was going to take place that night. Lacus was back at the hotel that they were staying in with her 'brothers' Kira and Athrun. They initially said that they wanted to see the idol group too, but their real intention was just tagging along for an adventure and leaving Ginger with two useless tickets. Her first thought was to maybe sell the tickets to a fellow r3aperz member. She swiftly remembered that there were barely any hubs for the faction outside of North America. With that option gone there was peddling, which she really disliked as it took money away from honest ticket sellers. The only thing left was to give the tickets away for free, but who deserved them enough for her charity? Ginger wasn't going to be giving them to any old schmuck for no reason. |

“O- Oi, Lu-! Er… I mean- Kuzunoha!” As her companion called out her Day World name, the petite female peered over her shoulder. “Where are you going? We’ve a meeting in an hour’s time.” There was a pause in his speech as realisation struck “Wait… you’re leaving me alone to deal with them?” The speaker, a harried male of Japanese descent gave her a pleading look more suited to a puppy rather than the twenty-something years old that he was. Perhaps his little act would be able to persuade a more soft-hearted creature to stay, but Lux only rolled her eyes at his pathetic attempt. It was unfortunate for the male that she was a mercenary, not a samaritan. “Looks like it~” As fond of her human as she was, the vixen was not about to do him any favours without a present or two. “But what if I offend them?! Without you there, I’ll end up at the bottom of the river.” With a mocking little smile, Lux walked up to the despairing male. “Well, I would suggest that you don’t offend them then.” She reached out and patted him gently on the cheek, “Even if you do end up becoming fish food, I’ll avenge your death. Pinky promise!” Only because it would be a stain on my name if I ignore such an obvious show of disrespect, she added silently. “Anyway, I’ll be leaving you to woe over your sad sad fate alone. Try not to tear your hair out, Kou. I don’t think you can pull of the bald look.” With those parting words said and done with, Lux turned on her heels, humming a cheerful tune to herself as she stepped out of the grand hotel. Even though she was wearing a heavy fur-lined coat, the bitter cold made for an unpleasant change from the warm interior of the building behind her. Trembling beneath her attire of pure white, the young lady made her way down the street, hoping that a brisk walk would help with the cold. It was then that she noticed a splash of brilliant red in the distance. Curiosity piqued, Lux walked past the row of fashion boutiques to stop at the corner of an intersection. Across the street, stood a striking woman with tresses seemingly made of flames. Spellbound, the vixen found herself admiring her. |

"Take your time, coming home~ Hear the wheels as they roll~ Let your lungs fill up with smoke; forgive everyone~" Ginger hummed a familiar tune to herself as she walked to take her mind off of the cold grip of the Russian air. Walking up to an intersection, the light turned red and she halted her movement. Russia didn't seem to be all that unboring of a place. So far she hadn't seen anyone drunk aside from a few bums at night or any crazy fights. The videos she had seen on the internet had mislead her greatly. After a scratch of the tummy and a yawn, Ginger began looking around as she grew restless waiting for the light to turn the color that meant it was safe to cross. The female was really regretting not bringing her multi-media device out with her. Before the light changed colors, The arrancar-in-gigai spotted someone across the street. There was something off about the person that had her attention. Maybe not off, but definitely out of place. Her present felt... it was hard to put into words for Ginger, maybe regal? Something along the lines of that was what multi-colored hair girl felt. The young woman quickly closed her mouth and removed her hand from her abdomen to not seem like some gross tomboy who walked around doing what they pleased and looking how they pleased as they traversed around. The crosswalk signal changed, though Ginger took a little time to notice because of the lag she experienced from staring at the silver-haired anomaly. As she moved to cross the street, something loud and terrible invaded her ears. It was like nails on a chalkboard times the wailing of screamo music(vocals to be exact). Yeah it was that terrible. Stopping right there, having barely moved off the sidewalk, she looked around. No one else around her had stopped to take note of the sound. "Fuckin'- It's a Nightlands thing, isn't it..." Encountering things, problems, situations that dealt with the 'Nightlands' while she was in her gigai and minding to her own human business was extremely annoying. Sure she could just ignore such things and continue about her business as if nothing ever happened, but there was some sort of obligation deep with in her to at least check things out to make sure no one was getting hurt or something. Nothing seemed to be strange. There were no pluses going crazies, arrancars releasing their true form or bounts feasting upon souls. What could it have been that made that noise? A huge, bird-like creature flew past Ginger's face. Like, right in front of her face. It let out another ear-shattering screech as it continued its flight path. Ginger grimaced in pain from being assaulted in her ears. Turning her attention to that creature, she gritted her teeth. "Tch, stupid hollow," she mumbled beneath her breath before quickly taking off down the street after it. Edited by Angelica Pickles, Jul 18 2013, 06:22 PM.
