Character Template Name: Julia Notadam Langoustine Actual Age: 19 Visual Age: 18 Nickname/Alias: Eve Gender: Female Race: Quincy Allegiance: The R3apers Influence: 1 Height: 5’9”’ Weight: 131 lbs. Hair: Black Eyes: Blue Appearance: Julia inherited most of her looks from her mom, being fairly tall but slender. She keeps her hair short and functional, her bangs only being slightly longer than they need to be and hanging just past her eyes. Her skin is light, though she never seems to sunburn. While slender, Julia has an irrefutably feminine body, even though it’s pretty well covered up by her clothing. Julia generally has a faraway look in her eyes and a disinterested face, as though she is off in a world far away. She holds herself with a strong posture, and often gives off an intimidating aura. Julia’s dress is fairly androgynous overall, her wardrobe only being like five percent feminine stuff. She is almost always seen in a long-sleeved white or light blue dress shirt, and black slacks/jeans. When out on business, the outfit is accompanied by a tie, because why not. Julia owns maybe two dresses and two skirts. She doesn’t wear them around people. Spoiler: click to toggle Spoiler: click to toggle Personality: As a result of a lifetime of being pushed away, Julia is accustomed to distancing herself from others. She’s never friendly right off the bat, and any first impression will come across as business-like. It’s not to say she can’t let people in, just that she doesn’t really care to. Fostering friendship is too much work. Even though she puts on a tough air, Julia is actually very self-conscious, not just about her looks but her personality as well. As such, she responds to criticism with anger. She responds to compliments in a similar manner, but with more embarrassment. Even though she’s very strong-willed, she sometimes doubts her own intentions in joining The R3apers. Despite many personality traits that would probably be crippling to someone with grand schemes, Julia is ambitious against all odds. Upon joining The R3apers she had decided that she would advance through the ranks and someday be in a position of great standing, though that is certainly far away. If she could have it her way, she would eventually own the entire world, but that’s probably impossible. Julia would kill to reach her ends. Because of her desire to go far in The R3apers and in life, Julia can be manipulative when it suits her. While she would rather take by force, Julia realizes that this is not always the best course of action, and when necessary, she can even try to make friends. Generally speaking, she can be sort of sneaky, and she finds herself scheming more than she cares for. Though rare, Julia sometimes finds herself angry, even sad. Angry at the way of the world, angry at her past, just upset. She doesn’t really have a release though, so she just bottles up all those negative emotions, usually just brooding for hours and not sleeping well. At the end of the day, Julia is just an introverted young woman who still hasn’t quite come to terms with her past, and is trying to forget it with the future. Her worldly ambition and inter-personal indifference are shields to block the darkness of the world. History Equipment: Seelentrinker - Just a silvery metal rod with a ring on the bottom that is just large enough for two fingers when not active. Upon activation, Seelentrinker gains a blade of energy that vibrates very quickly, and acts sort of like a chainsaw. Items:
Combat: Julia fights with alacrity and trickery, making use of salt-and-pepper tactics to whittle her opponent down enough for a sudden extra-powerful strike. She makes use of speed and cunning to feint and trick her opponents into unfavorable positions, while trying to exploit said positions. Her weapon can seem sort of unassuming at first, but people who decide to trade blows with Julia will find the Seeletrinker to be a double-threat. It’s fairly often that Julia fights those who are more physically robust than herself, and so she relies pretty greatly on her own flexibility and lithe frame. Constant attackers find her difficult to strike, and when they do manage to deal damage they would find blocked attacks to still be dangerous. Against a ranged opponent Julia will run away, either to lead the person into her range or to just get away; because you can’t win ‘em all. Seelentrinker Julia is aware that her weapon of choice is less effective than it would be if used in conjunction with a bow, but she makes great use of it regardless. While capable of cutting in a sense, Seelentrinker’s real use is to break apart reishi and make it easier to convert into power for a Quincy. While Julia usually does this by fighting offensively, the Seeletrinker is much more effective as a defensive tool, breaking apart reishi-based attacks and gathering reishi that way, as well as highly damaging physical attackers. Finally, the Seeletrinker is capable of pulling in large amounts of ‘loosed’ reishi and focusing it into one powerful attack, effectively spending what it has collected for good.
