Physical Appearance Eye Color: Maroon Hair: Red Skin Tone: Taiyoo has fair skin. Weight: 5'5" Height: 110 lbs. Scars/Tattoos: Being a very young man, even with his training, Taiyoo has been very meticulous cared for his body. There is not a single sign of scarring on his person. Every training session has ended with Taiyoo taking a visit to the Fourth Squad Captain's quarters for a medical examination. Accessories: Taiyoo has a small round diamond stud in his left ear. Clothing: In battle and during meetings, Taiyoo wears a hooded sleeveless haori, which is lined on the inside with red silk and bears the 1st Squad insignia on the back. He also wears a full standard shihakusho, but adds his own flair by wearing red fingerless gloves that stretch to his forearms, a red shitagi, a red hakama himo, and red tabi. His Zanpakuto hangs from his left hip like the sexy boss that it is.
Outside of these instances, he dons a much different get-up. He wears a white hoodie with horizontal red stripes, a blue t-shirt, and some blue jeans with white tennis shoes. He still wears red metal-knuckled fingerless leather gloves, but hey, dem' bitches love them some sexy red gloves, now don't they? Physical Build/Features: Haori is very young, especially for a captain, and using that to his advantage, he makes his appearance seem wholly unfitting for his position. While he doesn't look unfit for a fifteen year old teenager, he is slightly thin and generally unimpressive physically. Personality: Taiyoo has two sides. The first side is his demeanor as a skilled military officer. He is calm, collected, and incredibly specific in his commands. He makes sure to know the capacity of those under his command almost as well as his own; when on duty, he often oversees the training of his shinigami, because that's who they are: his fellow shinigami, his comrades. He takes a very personal approach in his formal relationship with his subordinates and pays special attention to the trainees in the academy; if he sees a student having trouble with an aspect of their training, he'll step forward and offer a simple adjustment or exercise that will help them to more aptly learn the concept they're trying to internalize. As a leader, he does his best to serve as an inspiration to his fellow shinigami while on duty.
While on duty being the operative words of that sentence.
When he's off duty, people quickly realize that he's the same fifteen year old kid that he was before he died. People entering his quarters will find the kid on a La-Z-Boy chair in his boxers, socks, and a t-shirt playing some flashy game with lots of colors and explosions. At least twice a week, Seireitei is placed on high alert because the little bastard's skipped town, venturing out into the pits of his home district to get himself into a good home-cooked brawl; his aides will often find him sitting on piles of the unconcious bodies that belonged to the thugs stupid enough to pick a fight with the scrawny kid. He's also incredibly comfortable with his sexuality, often shooting flirtatious winks and quips with the more blessed of the female shinigami, even giving a whistle or a light pinch if he's feeling especially confident. Bakuro Zanpakuto: Bakuro is a standard length katana with a gold-plated crossguard fashioned after an emblem of the sun. Zanpakuto Type: Bakuro is a special type of Zanpakuto. By manipulating the vibration and flow of reishi around the edge of the blade, it can cut through reishi. Bakuro's cutting capacity is determined by the zanjutsu technique's rank, Reiryoku control and Hoho, rounded down. Zanjutsu Techniques:Zanjutsu 1. Battojutsu [Art of Sword Drawing] This is not an actual technique. Rather, it is to represent Taiyoo's training in the school of sword-drawing techniques. This technique serves as a prerequisite to Taiyoo's Battojutsu based techniques.
1. Genjitsuno Bunkatsu Ichi [Reality Split 1] Channeling his reiryoku into Bakuro, Taiyoo shoots a scythe of cutting energy two feet in length at an opponent up to ten feet away at a speed equal to the average of Taiyoo's Zanjutsu and Reiryoku Control up to a maximum speed of six.
2. Kurooku Sare Ta Danmaku [Cloaked Barrage] This technique is a basic flurry attack. Aiming each slash to intersect at a single, Taiyoo draws Bakuro from his sheath and, in one string of motion, attacks the opponent with four quick wide slashes.
2. Genjitsuno Bunkatsu Ni [Reality Split 2] Channeling his reiryoku into Bakuro, Taiyoo shoots a scythe of cutting energy four feet in length at an opponent up to twenty feet away at a speed equal to the average of Taiyoo's Zanjutsu and Reiryoku Control up to a maximum speed of eight.
3. Chikixyuuwo Hakai [Breaking Earth] Prerequisite: Taiyoo must be in contact with some solid surface. Using the very surface that he's standing on as a weapon, Taiyoo draws Bakuro from his sheath and strikes the ground, breaking off large chunks of the surface with a small explosion of reiryoku. Infusing the projectiles with his own reiryoku, flying up to thirty feet away at a speed equal to Taiyoo's Reiryoku control up to a maximum of six.
3. Genjitsuno Bunkatsu San [Reality Split 3] Channeling his reiryoku into Bakuro, Taiyoo shoots a scythe of cutting energy six feet in length at an opponent up to thirty feet away at a speed equal to the average of Taiyoo's Zanjutsu and Reiryoku Control up to a maximum speed of ten.
4. Shinjitsu no Kanazuchi [Hammer of Truth] Leaping up twenty feet into the air, Taiyoo makes a quick flip and solidifies reishi beneath his feet. Pushing off of this reishi, Taiyoo rockets himself down vertically on top of his opponent, drawing the sword from its sheath and swinging down at the opponent's head. The inertia behind the sword strike along with the sword draw makes this a potentially fatal technique.
4. Saigo no Yari [Final Spear] This is a very simple variant of Shinjutsu no Kanazuchi. After jumping into the air, Taiyoo draws his sword shortly before launching down from the reishi particles, and reverses his grip so the blade is facing downward, point first. He then dives down onto the opponent, stabbing the blade into the top of their skull.
4. Genjitsuno Bunkatsu Yon [Reality Split 4] Channeling his reiryoku into Bakuro, Taiyoo shoots a scythe of cutting energy six feet in length at an opponent up to thirty feet away at a speed equal to the average of Taiyoo's Zanjutsu and Reiryoku Control up to a maximum speed of ten.
5. Nejire Shikibetsu [Twisting Discernment] Prerequisite: Taiyoo's Speed and Wit average must be higher than the opponent's Speed. Moving alongside an opponent (whether in response to an opponent's attack or otherwise), the user makes a small jump and spins in the air, striking the opponent square on their back.
5. Kougekiwo Setsudan [Severing the Offense] Prerequisite: Taiyoo's Speed and Wit average must be higher than the opponent's Speed. An alternate form of Nejire Shikibetsu, Taiyoo rushes forward and jumps, spiraling in the air. Manipulating reiryoku around him, Taiyoo charges straight into the middle of his opponent's attack, the reiryoku protecting him from the opponent's attack. He then draws Bakuro from his sheath in a single powerful strike, often directly attacking the opening in their guard due to the unusual attack vector.
5. Genjitsuno Bunkatsu Go [Reality Split 5] Channeling his reiryoku into Bakuro, Taiyoo shoots a scythe of cutting energy eight feet in length at an opponent up to fourty feet away at a speed equal to the average of Taiyoo's Zanjutsu and Reiryoku Control up to a maximum speed of twelve.
5. Setsudan No Chikara [Severing Force] By channeling reiryoku and matching the speed of reishi flowing around himself to that of the reishi floating around Bakuro, Taiyoo is able to create a field of disintegrating energy around his immediate person, cutting through other reishi and even reiryoku and spirit weapons depending on what release state he is in. This technique can protect and disrupt Hado and Bakudo techniques up to the 50th level, and can protect against Zanjutsu and Hakuda techniques up to the fifth level.
6. Ni Jixyuuno Jinmon [Two-Fold Discernment] A form of Battojutsu, Kenshin draws the sword from his sheath in a quick and powerful strike. However, to cover up the opening left after Battojutsu and to give an additional chance to attack, Taiyoo brings the sheath up to strike the opponent unawares.
6. Eizoku Teki Na Hantai Jinmon [Persistent Cross-Examination] An alternate form of Ni Jixyuuno Jinmon, after drawing the sword in a fast swing. The user then follows this up with a strike with the sheath. Quickly spinning and resheathing the sword, Taiyoo makes a final sword draw, slashing at the opponent.
6. Genjitsuno Bunkatsu Roku [Reality Split 6] Channeling his reiryoku into Bakuro, Taiyoo shoots a scythe of cutting energy ten feet in length at an opponent up to fifty feet away at a speed equal to the average of Taiyoo's Zanjutsu and Reiryoku Control up to a maximum speed of fourteen.
7. Tooku Kara Haka Sare Ta Ichi[Lies Destoryed From Afar] A special form of Battojutsu, this technique turns Bakuro into a projectile. After a quick spin, Taiyoo thrusts Bakuro's sheath forward, launching the blade at an opponent up to seventy feet away at a speed equal to Taiyoo's Zanjutsu and Strength average up to a max speed of fourteen.
7. Genjitsuno Bunkatsu Nana [Reality Split 7] Channeling his reiryoku into Bakuro, Taiyoo shoots a scythe of cutting energy ten feet in length at an opponent up to sixty feet away at a speed equal to the average of Taiyoo's Zanjutsu and Reiryoku Control up to a maximum speed of sixteen.
8. Mondai No Kakushin [Heart of the Matter] This is one of the only techniques that Taiyoo uses that doesn't use Battojutsu. Dashing close to the opponent, Taiyoo jumps up and, placing his hand on the back of the blade's tip. rams Bakuro's edge into the opponent's neck, the impact at the very least launching them into the air, if not slicing their jugular and esophagus.
8. Genjitsuno Bunkatsu Hachi [Reality Split 8] Channeling his reiryoku into Bakuro, Taiyoo shoots a scythe of cutting energy twelve feet in length at an opponent up to seventy feet away at a speed equal to the average of Taiyoo's Zanjutsu and Reiryoku Control up to a maximum speed of eighteen.
9. Reality's Crushing Weight [Genjitsuno Hasai Jixyuuryou] This is one of the only techniques that Taiyoo uses that doesn't use Battojutsu. Placing his blade in front of him in a general stance, Taiyoo rushes forward and strikes the opponent with nine attacks at once, each strike attacking a different point of the body simultaneously. The strike zones are the same used in Kendo: Karatake (a downward stroke upon the top of the head), Kesagiri (slanted downward stroke on the right shoulder, the reverse Kesagiri (slanted downward stroke on the left shoulder), right Nagi (right side of the belly/waist), left Nagi (left side of the belly/waist), the right upward cut (diagonally up from the right hip to the left shoulder), the left upward cut (diagonally up from the left hip to the right shoulder), the Sakakaze (from the navel up to the face), and Tsuki (a straight thrust at the user's heart).
9. Genjitsuno Bunkatsu Kyu [Reality Split 9] Channeling his reiryoku into Bakuro, Taiyoo shoots a scythe of cutting energy fifteen feet in length at an opponent up to eighty five feet away at a speed equal to the average of Taiyoo's Zanjutsu and Reiryoku Control.
10. Undeniable Truth [Ugokashi Gatai Jijitsu] This is Taiyoo's most powerful Battojutsu. Rushing forward, Taiyoo draws his sword from his sheath in a massively powerful strike, the force of the strike amplified by stepping down on the left foot immediately before the first strike, making it even more powerful. Assuming the opponent parries the first strike, the speed of the hit causes an air displacement which causes a very temporary suction effect, which Taiyoo uses to spin around and make a second strike with Bakuro, this second strike far more powerful than the first.
10. Genjitsuno Bunkatsu Saishuutekina [Final Reality Split] Channeling his reiryoku into Bakuro, Taiyoo shoots a scythe of cutting energy twenty feet in length at an opponent up to one hundred feet away at a speed equal to the average of Taiyoo's Zanjutsu and Reiryoku Control.
10. Setsudan No Ishi [Severing Will] By channeling reiryoku and matching the speed of reishi flowing around himself to that of the reishi floating around Bakuro, Taiyoo is able to create a field of disintegrating energy around his immediate person, cutting through other reishi and even reiryoku and spirit weapons depending on what release state he is in. This technique can protect and disrupt Hado and Bakudo techniques and Zanjutsu and Hakuda techniques. Shikai: Bakuro looks identical to his non-released form with one exception: the entire sword gains the appearance of gold, red cloth wrapped around the hilt of the sword. The crossguard also turns red. In her Shikai state, Bakuro is now able to cut through masses of reiryoku such as those created by Zanjutsu and Kido. He can only do so, however, if his Hoho and Reiryoku Control average is higher than that of his opponent.

Shikai Release Action: Taiyoo holds Bakuro out parallel to his torso, gripping the base of the blade as he would a sheath as the blade begins to glow. After uttering the command, he moves his hand along the blade's length, removing the glowing energy like a sheath before it disperses, revealing the blade. Shikai Release Command: "Usoto giman katto suru, Bakuro!" Translation: "Cut through lies and deceit, Revelation!"
Bankai: The reishi around both Taiyoo and Bakuro condenses and accelerates in its movement, both he and the blade now glowing with a bright golden light. His outfit also changes, his shitagi and kosode being replaced with a red hooded tight-sleeved trench coat with an attached mask for the lower half of his face (up to his nose) and a golden t-shirt. His hakama, hakami himo, tabi, and waraji are replaced with red loose-legged jeans so as not to inhibit his mobility, and golden shinobi jika-tabi.
His bankai's ability is still to cut. It is simply much more focused in his bankai form. With this form, Taiyoo can cut even through another opponent's Zanpakutou and Spirit weapon. Taiyoo can also use Eikyuu Bakuro to open gateways between dimensions, such as Garganta and Senkaimon. Creating the rift through this means also drastically shortens the journey between the two locations into a single leap. This ability cannot be used mid-combat; it's uses are entrely outside of combat. His second ability is, assuming the average of his Hoho and Reiryoku Control are higher than the opponent's, his capacity to literally cut through spirit weapons such as Zanpakuto and Quincy Pentacles.

Bankai Release Action: Taiyoo brings Bakuro's blade parallel to his face directly over the bridge of his nose, his chin an inch above the cross guard. Bankai Release Command: "Beeru wo setsudanshi shinjitsuga kisai kagayakaseru, Eikyuu Bakuro!" Translation: "Sever the veil and let the truth shine forth, Final Revelation!"
Kido:Bakudo 1. Bakudo no Ichi • Sai [Way of Binding 1 • Restrain] Locks a target's arms in place behind their back.
Incantation: "Worthless pup of Rondanini! Stare longingly at the grandeur that has been barred and claw your own eyes out!"
2. Bakudo no Ni • Kooru [Way of Binding 2 • Freeze] Icy winds concentrate on the opponent's limbs, slowly numbing them over the course of three posts.
Incantation: “Mighty mountain, icy manifestation of will, prepare thyself for the final call of fire! Frighten the strong, pierce the skies with your touch!”
3. Bakudo no San • Kone [Way of Binding 3 • Pull] After being struck by a beam of light coming from the user's hands (which dissipates afterward), the target's hands are pulled together in front of them by an invisible force, the hands clasped together like a praying monk.
Incantation: “Pray to the king, accept the final fate, lose yourself in your struggles! Deny reality in your world of illusion, fight the cycle in vain!”
4. Bakudo no Yon • Hainawa [Way of Binding 4 • Crawling Rope] An energy rope entangles the target's arms.
Incantation: "Beast of the earth, know your place and wither away in despair! Watch in awe as the King's rapture choke your very soul!"
5. Bakudo no Go • Nenchakuzai [Way of Binding 5 • Adhesive] A gust of wind and a spray of mist are shot towards the target. Should the target be hit, their body becomes covered in a sticky brown ooze, slowing and even stopping the target's movements if their strength is low enough.
Incantation: “Fail the words, scribe the songs; the pain stays only with each passing victory! Kill the behemoth and drive it to extinction!”
6. Bakudo no Roku • Rindou [Way of Binding 6 • Bellflower] Creates a large dome similar in shape to a bellflower over the target. This can either be used to keep the target in a small area or as a protective barrier for either the target or the user.
Incantation: “Love's flight, hide in shadows. Create thy own luck, caustic fears of the elders form from nothing, lighting the eternal lantern!”
7. Bakudo no Nana • Yami [Way of Binding 7 • Darkness] Causes an thirty foot by thirty foot area to be encased by a shroud of darkness, inhibiting sight in the area.
Incantation: “Blind hounds of the underworld converge into one! Denounce all things holy and return to pay retribution!”
8. Bakudo no Hachi • Seki [Way of Binding 8 • Repulse] Creates a round shield that seems to temporarily paralyze and repel whatever strikes it.
Incantation: "A calm hands divert the raging waters! Stare into the limpid pools of desire and become lost in their lustful gaze!"
9. Bakudo no Kyu • Geki [Way of Binding 9 • Strike] Engulfs the target in red light, completely paralyzing them.
Incantation: "Disintegrate, you black dog of Rondanini!! Look upon yourself with horror and then claw out your own throat!"
9. Bakudo no Kyu • Horin [Way of Binding 9 • Disintegrating Circle] Causes an orange hued tendril with spiraling yellow patterns to erupt from the users hand and attempt to trap a target. the end of it remains in the hands of the user allowing them to control the path of the tendril before and after capture. The Kido is able to connect with another one of itself if both have captured a target and bind them together.
Incantation: "Disintegrate, you black dog of Rondanini!! Look upon yourself with horror and tear out your own throat!"
10. Bakudo no Ju • Te [Way of Binding 10 • Hand] Shoots a large hand shaped mass of reiatsu at the opponent, which opens and attempt to grab them, binding their movements.
Incantation: "The inescapable end mars a pristine existence! With crushing weight, all things are denounced and brushed aside!"
21. Bakudo no Nijuichi • Sekienton [Way of Binding 21 • Red Smoke Escape] Creates a blast upon activation and is used like a ninja's smoke bomb.
Incantation: "Flash of light, blades of grass, spinning mirrors! Hold fast to the twisted vision that dances across silvered waters!"
26. Bakudo no Nijuroku • Kyokko [Way of Binding 26 • Curving Light] Hides the target from sight, by bending light. The spell has the ability to totally hide the presence and reiatsu of the user or specified object.
Incantation: "Cower, you ragged dog of Rondanini! See the reflection and let your eyes melt from your skull!"
30. Bakudo no Sanju • Shitotsu Sansen [Way of Binding 30 • Beak-Piercing Triple Beam] Forming a golden triangle with one's finger, it shoots three beams of light that pin the target to one place on a surface, slamming into his or her body in three places in a shape of a perfect triangle.
Incantation: "Floating teeth bite down from troubled skies, sink fast and heed my words! Liquid poison traps the feeble in its grasp!"
37. Bakudo no Sanjunana • Tsuriboshi [Way of Binding 37 • Suspending Star] Creates a star-shaped cushion of Spiritual Energy, which anchors it to nearby objects with "ropes" of spirit particles. It can stop falling objects, acting like a safety net.
Incantation: "Fate's loom, white lines, black hearts. Spin the webs that entangle destiny, sear the skies with unforgiving heat!"
39. Bakudo no Sanjukyu • Enkosen [Way of Binding 39 • Arc Shield] Summons a shield of condensed reiatsu to block opponents' attacks.
Incantation: "The maiden's touch skims across the tranquil pond, her gaze healing all she looks upon! Shining light, soothing breeze, garments of silk!"
58. Bakudo no Gojuhachi • Kakushitsuijaku [Way of Binding 58 • Summoning of the Tracking Sparrows] Tracks and locates any spiritual force the user focuses on. To activate it, the user must draw a circle on the ground, cut into four parts with a specific character in each. The incantation animates the circle, causing various numbers to appear within until the specific set is found. The number set seems to be a variation on longitude and latitude.
Incantation: "Heart of the south, eye of the north, finger of the west, foot of the east! Arrive with the wind and depart with the rain!"
61. Bakudo no Rokujuichi • Rikujokoro [Way of Binding 61 • Six Rods Prison of Light] Summons six thin, wide beams of light that slam into a target's midsection, holding them in place. The target is unable to move any part of their body.
Incantation: "Carriage of thunder, bridge of a spinning wheel! With light, divide this into six!"
62. Bakudo no Rokujuni • Hyapporankan [Way of Binding 62 • Hundred Steps Fence] A rod formed of energy is thrown towards the target before it disintegrates into numerous short rods which are used to pin the target to the surroundings and render them immobile.
Incantation: "Cower, you ragged mutt of Rondanini! See the reflection and let your skin melt from your body!"
63. Bakudo no Rokujusan • Sajo Sabaku [Way of Binding 63 • Locking Bondage Stripes] Similar to Bakudo no Yon • Hainawa, but stronger. This spell binds the target's arms and torso, affixing them to where they stand with chains of light.
Incantation: "Beasts of the earth, know your place and wither away in despair! Watch in awe as the King's rapture cleave your very souls!" Hado 1. Hado no Ichi • Sho [Way of Destruction 1 • Thrust] Pushes the target away from the caster.
Incantation: "The way of the priest is mired with ill intent and temptation! With a firm hand, he denies his impure thoughts!"
2. Hado no Ni • Hokkyoku no Nageyari [Way of Destruction 2 • Arctic Javelin] Three large shards of glacial ice form in front of the caster's palm and shoot towards the opponent.
Incantation: "Let nature's breath set its sights on the wicked! Come from nothing, rise up, and strike at the heart of the night!"
3. Hado no San • Jishin [Way of Destruction 3 • Earthquake] The caster stomps on the ground and cracks fan out from their feet, spreading in a cone under the opponents feet. The ground will collapse inward into a fifteen foot pit after spreading out under the opponent or until reaching twenty feet outward.
Incantation: "The insatiable maw, the potter's clay, an eternal embrace! The might of darkness comes with a heavy price to pay!"
4. Hado no Yon • Byakurai [Way of Destruction 4 • Pale Lightning] The user fires a concentrated, powerful lightning bolt from their finger.
Incantation: "Dark skies dance, thunder booms! The will of the gods is put in my hands to do their just bidding!"
5. Hado no Go • Bunkaishimasu [Way of Destruction 5 • Disintegrate] Long gouts of flame will extend from the caster's palm, scorching everything in a cone of fire up to fifteen feet away.
Incantation: "Seeker of songs, the heat of rage and vengeance drives the man unerring to his doom! The folly of his ways he sees only too late!"
6. Hado no Roku • Tsujikaze [Way of Destruction 6 • Whirlwind] A ten foot high tornado will surround the opponent, buffeting them with debris and cutting winds.
Incantation: "The sparrow's feathers, the sun's light, a forsaken angel! Whispers of a lost grandeur echo across the minds of the weak!"
7. Hado no Nana • Senkoo [Way of Destruction 7 • Flash] The caster shoots a beam of light from their finger tips. After coming into contact with any hard surface, it explodes into a flash of light and a high pitched shrill.
Incantation: "In radiance, the mighty make their glory known! The King's chariot rides onward through the storm, the very clouds bowing before him!"
8. Hado no Hachi • Kageyari [Way of Destruction 8 • Shadow Spear] The caster's shadow stretches out, pursuing the opponentas shadow tendrils shoot out and attempt to stab them.
Incantation: "Vile hound of Rondanini, change your evil ways! In agony, you are bent to the will of a lesser man and humiliated!"
9. Hado no Kyu • Chikaranami [Way of Destruction 9 • Force Wave] A rippling wall of force, fiteen feet by fifteen feet, shoots out to slam into the opponent.
Incantation: "The gavel's strike, the final judgment passed! The unavoidable presses onward, unable to be halted by the meager hands!"
10. Hado no Ju • Tsumizu [Way of Destruction 10 • Tidal Waters] Water condenses in the air around the caster and shoots out to bludgeon the opponent.
Incantation: "Sirens sing their calls of seduction and the ears of the lustful fall into their trap! The wise turn their gaze away from evil!"
11. Hado no Juichi • Tsuzuri Raiden [Way of Destruction • Bound Lightning] Electric current flows through any object the user touches and is able to lead electricity, damaging any target that is in contact with the object the current runs through.
Incantation: "The path to redemption is mired with sadness, the despair of the sinner consumes them whole! Step by step, they walk towards the light!"
12. Hado no Juni • Ijikitanai [Way of Destruction 12 • Spiteful Action] The ground beneath the opponent bulges and bursts, erupting into a pillar of flame fifteen feet in diameter.
Incantation: "Hands of the past, tongue of the liar, eyes of the snake! Strike at reality and pierce through its fabric with your fangs!"
13. Hado no Jusan • Myaku [Way of Destruction 13 • Pulse] The user claps their hands together, sending a shockwave of air to cut into opponents around them.
Incantation: "Open sky, the beats of the wing, the breath of life! Rise up against the poison of Man and strike with the unfailing hand of your might!"
14. Hado no Juyon • Saigo no Hanketsu [Way of Destruction 14 • Final Decree] A wave of null force bears down on the opponent, crushing both them and the space around it.
Incantation: "The King's fickle hands are brought to bare, his omnipotent will consuming all that he sees! In vain, men run from his merciless ire!"
31. Hado no Sanjuichi • Shakkaho [Way of Destruction 31 • Shot of Red Fire] Fires a ball of red energy at a target.
Incantation: "Ye lord! Mask of blood and flesh, all creation, flutter of wings, ye who bears the name of Man! Inferno and pandemonium, the sea barrier surges, march on to the south!"
33. Hado no Sanjusan • Sokatsui [Way of Destruction 33 • Blue Fire, Crash Down] Fires a burst of blue spiritual energy at a target in a similar manner to #31, but over a wider area and with more power.
Incantation: "Ye lord! Mask of flesh and bone, flutter of wings, ye who bears the name of Man! Truth and temperance, upon this sinless wall of dreams unleash but slightly the wrath of your claws."
54. Hado no Gojuyon • Haien [Way of Destruction 54 • Abolishing Flames] Fires a blast of purple spiritual energy that will incinerate a target completely when it makes contact.
Incantation: "Spread over the earth of the damned! Swarming locust, shrieking birds, obsidian shards. Burst from the ground, rise and stand above the doomed!"
58. Hado no Gojuhachi • Tenran [Way of Destruction 58 • Orchid Sky] A widening tornado-like blast is fired towards the target.
Incantation: "Ye lord! Mask of blood and flesh, all creation, flutter of wings, ye who bears the name of Man! Twisting chaos, the sky splits, flee to the west!"
63. Hado no Rokujusan • Raikoho [Way of Destruction 63 • Thunder Roar Cannon] Fires a massive wave of yellow energy at a target.
Incantation: "Sprinkled on the bones of the beast! Sharp tower, red crystal, steel ring. Move and become the wind, stop and become the calm. The sound of warring spears fills the empty castle!"
Spirit: Bakuro is a young woman, standing at 5' 6" just like Taiyoo with long black hair that reaches to her back and soft sapphire blue eyes. She wears a white shitagi and a red hakama and hakama-himo with white tabi and waraji, the customary outfit of a shinto priestess. Unlike Taiyoo, who is by nature impulsive and rowdy, Bakuro is calm, collected, and concise, often being very forward with her partner. Though she is not without etiquette, Bakuro is far less likely to soften the blow by using tact. This isn't to say that she is without compassion, fortunately; she is only so strict with her partner because, despite all of his glaring imperfections, Bakuro is quite frankly head over heals in love with the young boy and truly wishes him to have a true sense of fulfillment and happiness.
Bakuro History
Taiyoo was actualy an orphan when he was first alive. He was a bit of a trouble child because of his very very stereotypical angst at not ever having known his parents. Being one of those orphans that got abandoned as opposed to his parents simply being dead like most of his other contemporaries. In a spurr of stupidity, he went to find them. In his head, he had it all planned out: he'd use some cockamamey investigative skills to find some pair of unlikely slouches to be his parents, only to realize that their guilt at losing him made their lives miserable. He would help them in small unexpected ways and show them how to become better people and everything would be quaint.
Instead, he crossed the street not a block away from his orphanage and got hit by a derelict horse carriage.
Wandering the earth as a plus for a short time before being placed under Konso, Taiyoo awoke in Soul Society, and he realized exactly how silly his notions of finding his parents had been. Seeing the billions of souls in this new place made him realize that having a fulfilling life hardly relies on one having a family. Forced to adapt quickly to his hostile environment, Taiyoo came to assume that his life would be filled with brawling to survive. Despite this, he strove forward, fighting for something better. Eventually, during one especially hostile fight, he started feeling something... unusual. He later came to learn that this was his capacity to sense and manipulate reiryoku... which he found out from one of the shinigami patrols. Offered the chance to move from his hyperly violent district, Taiyoo was thus admitted into the Shinigami Academy under official recommendation. Taiyoo struggled at first; it seemed as if his other classmates seemed to so easily grasp these concepts that he simply couldn't understand. Despite his struggles, he managed to graduate and received a lowly unseated officer position in the thirteenth squad. This same treatment extended to his squadmates. Taiyoo was used to dealing with bullies even during his time alive and brushed off their taunts... so they took the fight to him.
Spiriting him away from the squad quarters against his will, several of the less savory squad members, led by the 8th seat, took Taiyoo to the forests laying outside of Rukongai and forced him to fight. With his mediocre skill, he couldn't hope to match any of them, and it soon became clear that he would meet a very premature end. Then, in his moment of need, he found something else: his Zanpakuto... she who whispered her name into his ear as the blades came singing through the air towards him.
It was with this revelation that Taiyoo's true career as a shinigami began.
After swiftly defeating the group, Taiyoo replaced the officer as the 8th seat. He only progressed further from there. Learning of his shikai did wonders for his latent talent, and he quickly progressed throught the ranks through his training and determination. He eventually became the lieutenant of the 13th Squad, the same squad that had once ostracized him. Then came the Great Hueco Mundo Assault, a surprise attack launched on Soul Society by the Arrancar of Las Noches. It was during this hectic battle that Taiyoo squared off against and prevailed over one of the enemies main generals, having at that point achieved Bankai and hiding it for such an occasion. It was this battle that sparked discussions amongst the other squads and, having lost the entire captain class in the great conflict, Taiyoo was nominated by all twelve squads to become the new Captain Commander. It was from this point on that Taiyoo, in order to live up to his title, began even more extensive training. For the past century, he has done little but refine his skills, particularly in Zanjutsu. He has also instituted tighter instruction and training regimens for the past century at the academy, striving to prepare his fellow shinigami in the unlikely event of another mass offensive by the Hollows...
