Username: †yaksha Points: 0/0 ~~~~Basic Information~~~~ Name: Yaksha Dokuja Monevarius Nickname: Venemous Serpent, Gentlemen Viper, Venemous Traitor, etc. Age: 550 Date of Death: August 15, 1461 Birthplace: Europe Gender: Male Number: XX ~~~~Physical Appearance~~~~ Eye Color: Orange Hair: Brown Skin Tone: Pale white Scars/Tattoos: His back is covered in various long, ragged scars. Accessories: Yaksha rarely carries anything on his person, save for his clothing, and Misericorde. Physical Build/Features: Yaksha is the textbook ectomorph; tall, thin, never seeming to gain a bit of weight. He brings to mind a snake much of the time, with his almost flawless face, his eyes, and his ever-too-wide grin. Clothing: Yaksha's choice of clothing is befitting the typical vision of a cultured gentleman; he chooses to dress in a suit and pants, both seemingly tailor-made for him. He also adorns his head with a dark red tophat, which he frequently uses to occupy his hands. Personality: Yaksha's personality is fairly enigmatic, and deeper than most people care to go. On the surface, he seems surprisingly composed and direct, capable of doing even the most cruel acts without flinching. However, beneath his thin layer of composure and control, there exists a troubled man. Because of the choices made in his life, Yaksha has resigned himself to being considered a villain almost universally. He does his best to keep his distaste, and sometimes even flat out disgust, at his actions hidden, but he still feels remorse for the times when he has to truly play the villain. Almost all of Yaksha's personality and actions stem from one desire: to be completely in control. He has been known to give aid to those confused or in need of guidance, often using his skill in persuasion and psychology to convince them to completely trust him. He tends to give off an outward shell of calm and relaxation, to convince others that he is in control, but his own mind is constantly battling with him. One of Yaksha's greatest acts of control is his ability to almost completely isolate traits of his personality, to best garner attention; if he is meeting with a man who desires peace and tranquility, he will do his best to give off an air of a man trying his hardest to make a normal life. If he is meeting someone with a clear desire to help others, he will let all of his confusion and weakness shine through, to best garner trust. Picture: Spoiler: click to toggle ~~~~Stats~~~~ Distribute 54 amongst the following;
~~~~Abilities~~~~ Resurrección: Misericord, a pair of almost entirely unremarkable stilleto knives. In his released form, Yaksha resembles nothing more than a snake. In this form, he stands much taller, at a tremendous ten feet, though his frame remains similar. His face is elongated and narrowed, giving him the appearance of a snake without scales, and various snake-like shapes can be seen coiled around his body. He has two elongated fangs hidden within a roof in his mouth, and his eyes take on the shape and color of a snake's. His arms turn long and gangly, ending in long clawed fingers. His Speed raises by 3 points, and his Poderes raises by 2 points. While in this form, Yaksha gains the benefit of the following powers: Hebi Heirro- Yaksha's own unique form of Heirro, which he can 'stack on' his normal heirro. When using this, he can raise his stamina by 2, but his speed is lowered by 2 points as well. Venom- This poison naturally resides in Yaksha's fangs and is injected via bite, but can be distilled through other methods, relying upon unique poderes. The potency of this venom will be based off of the average of Yaksha's Poderes and Control. Each poison lasts 5 posts. 1-4: -1 Kenjutsu. Mild itchiness, distracting people from their weaponry slightly. 5-7: -2 Kenjutsu. The skin literally begins to crawl, making the person feel like their own veins are alive and moving. Very distracting, but nothing fatal or especially dangerous. 8-11: -3 Kenjutsu. The body begins to undergo very painful, very distracting seizures randomly(at least once a post). They may find themselves accidently wounding themselves during a seizure, or even dropping a weapon completely. 12-15: -5 Kenjutsu. The entire body now begins to fall apart. They can barely even stand, their grip weakening considerably; it can take considerable effort just to wield their weapons, much of the time. The seizures now last a considerable time(Target 'loses' one post every three), and can be painful enough to bring a man to tears. 16-19: -6 Kenjutsu. By this point, it's pure agony. To try and fight with this is like trying to push a boulder up a hill. The seizures are constant, debilitating, and impossible to ignore. Even the most familiar weaponry is like it's being weilded by a novice. 20: -7 Kenjutsu. By now, there's simply no way to cope. The body quite literally shuts down, fighting becomes an impossibility. The target finds Yaksha's reitsu literally invading them, burning them as if their body was turning into acid. Even the slightest touch is painful, and death is almost guaranteed if a person with considerable medical prowess isn't nearby. Oscuro/Luz: 4. Cero [Zero] Fires a powerful blast of concentrated spiritual energy at the target. 4. Negación Escudo [Negation Shield] Based off of the Gillian's Negación, the user creates a ten foot by ten foot shield, blocking attacks coming from the front. 7. Dokueki Cero [Venom Cero] This cero forms between Yaksha's teeth, and takes on a bright green hue. It fires out roughly as strong as the normal cero, and hits roughly as hard, but with one marked difference; it effects the person hit with one level below Yaksha's personal level of venom. Segunda Etapa: N/A ~~~~History~~~~ History: Born in the middle of the renaissance period, Yaksha's life was fairly unremarkable; he was no prince, and no sort of knight. He, instead, began a job of compiling literature and drama from the age. Many people began to respect him, and visit his home to see the many copies of books that he had, or the stories he had to tell of his visits to the many theaters. His life, even at the age of 25, held many possibilities for the future. He was known by many as a fine purveyor of some of the age's finest culture. However, some of the religious fanatics of the time began to grow infuriated with Yaksha, after various attempts to destroy the books that were an affront to god were halted by him. Time and time again, the men would approach him, decrying the stories as defamatory, and abominations to the eyes of the Lord; time and time again, Yaksha simply responded "If the Lord doesn't appreciate fine literature, that's no fault of mine." The tensions continued, as the people even began breaking into his house to attempt burning his collection, or stealing the books that they believed God wanted destroyed. Most of these attempts were met with failure, from the combination of Yaksha's odd sleeping hours, to the many people who would lay in wait at Yaksha's house to protect the literature. During the skirmish, the fanatics continued to plead with bishops of varying neighboring areas to support them; to demand that the simple book keeper give up the books they felt were hurting God. Finally, given the blessing of one man, the men entered Yaksha's home, and even as they stabbed Yaksha dead, they began to set fire to his home, hoping to claim the death of the well-known chronicler as a sacrifice to god. As the smoke and heat began to fill the room, and Yaksha's spirit left his body, he could feel nothing but a complete hatred for the ones who had so blindly chosen to destroy his efforts, in the name of their beliefs. He watched in silence as these men went on with their lives, not a one of them tied to his death. He watched in silence as his family line died, giving him not even a nephew or niece to continue in the world. Finally, after several years, he snapped when he found a copy of one of the same books he was executed for, now being freely read among the people. In his rage, the simple book keeper began to claw and tug at the chain that had been attached to his chest. He had no idea what would happen, but he was prepared to sacrifice even what little humanity he had left to destroy the lives of those who had gone to such lengths to ruin his own life, only for the source of his death to be entirely vindicated years later. The change was almost instantaneous; the beast, barely anything more than an instinctual animal. It began to track down the ones who had played a part in his death, destroying each of them and consuming their souls as they died. His fury ran white hot, overpowering all thought, as he continued to feed on anyone with a connection to the stories that had ruined his life; eventually, he even took to killing and consuming those he found reading copies of them. Finally, after nearly a hundred years, his intelligence began to return in degrees. He began to regain the consciousness he'd once had, but like a neanderthal, he was still primal, and many of his thoughts too simple for the man he had once been. This only drove his fury and spite even further, and he began to consume anything he could find; even other hollows were subject to his hunger. He finally evolved in the 1700s, when he consumed the dying soul of Lous XIV. His intelligence finally reached the levels it had been at before he'd let his anger and hatred consume him, and he could feel nothing but sickness at the thoughts of what he had done. Though his memories of the past were more feeling than thought, he could still tell he had killed countless people, and cut short their lives, for reasons even flimsier than the very ones that had slain him. He began his quest for solace, constantly traveling to new places to meet anyone he could connect with. His journeys took him to some of the most remote areas of the earth, and his hunger for the souls of the dead never waned. To avoid the knowledge that he had knowingly destroyed anyone's final chance to change their lives, he dedicated himself to only consuming the beasts he had met; the ones who, like himself, had given up their intelligence for instinct, and had given away their humanity for their fleeting satisfaction. His travels continued well into the 20th century, and he spent much of his time seeking out the wickedest humans; the ones who would've gleefully become what he had been. He began to whisper in their ears, driving a few to madness, and even to their own deaths. Before any of them could truly comprehend their new lives, he swooped in, to make certain that none of them would become as much a threat to the afterlife as they had been to the rest of the world. The last 50 years of Yaksha's life have been surprisingly unremarkable; finally beginning to overcome the memories of what he considered his previous life, he began to create a history for himself within the real world. He managed to obtain a gigai in the early 60s, making use of it to commission the suit he now wears, and to begin making a proper life for himself. With the knowledge of his own mind and thoughts helping him along, he has managed to gain ownership of a home, where he spent most of his time catching up on the culture and history he lost in his years as a spirit. Now, after finally managing to absorb the history and cultures that passed him by, Yaksha has begun to wander the nightlands, trying to create a world where he can continue the peaceful existence that was torn away from him by the fanatics of past. Welcome to the site, Yaksha, thanks for agreeing to playtest for us. First thing I noticed. In his history you never really remarked on how he got his nick-names, or his scars. Not a really big deal, just didn't know if you'd forgotten to add something, or if you didn't want it there. Seemingly nothing wrong with personality/appearance... nice picture there... la-dee-da... stats are okay... might want to reconsider that two in kenjutsu, but again, not a necessity, just a recommendation. Your Resurrección... do the two fangs have venom of some sort? Do they shoot lazor beams of doom? Is there anything special about them at all? Or is it a purely physical resurrección? Just wanting to clarify before we go anywhere. Arrancar can start out with two spells, so feel free to pop another one on there if you want. Aaaaaaand... that's about it, methinks. |
Don't Cero and the Negacion both count as one? And the nicknames are mostly names of his own device, that he made for the lulz. The fangs may contain venom at a later date, but right now I'm not sure how much 'access' he has to his ressurecion's bonus shit. Yaksha is by no means a physical fighter, even at the best of times. He usually sets things up so he doesn't NEED to fight. Later on, he'll start to get more direct, but for now he just smacks people around. And the scars were basically just what came from his life of fighting and shit. They didn't come from any single noteworthy event, so I didn't add them in. |
Oh... What the hell... Coding messed up a little there, so it looked like one big one... mind fixing that then? Alright, yeah, just wanted to make sure you hadn't just forgotten something... happens to me all the time. First resurrección... well, the only 'training' and 'advancement' it gets is further stat-boostage... so unless you're saving it for segunda etapa, then go ahead and add it now. Again, yeah, just poking around things... this appears almost done to me then... Fix/ignore that and you have my 1/2. |
Alrighty, give me a bit and I'll list a few possible things that he gets. Assuming he had a poison, would it grow with his stats, or what? |
I have convened with the Mighty Charlie Sheen, and if he hasn't told you already... Poison effectiveness will be an average of your reiryoku control, and your poderes... |
Your mother. Might want to specify if it has to be put into the targets body, or just on the skin... I would say in the body is more acceptable. You said distilled through other methods... do you mean like, putting it on a blade or something? |
I mean making a custom cero that lets him envenom a person if they're hit by it. Anything that would let him poison a person without biting them would be a poderes. And for now, yes. Injection only. Later it may change. |
For the poderes version, I'd say make it weaker since it'd be considerably easier to hit someone with it... But yeah, other than that, you have my 1/2 |
