Once this is done with, know that I will be coming for you and your kin.
Western Africa's environment can be described in two words: flat and arid. With a few isolated peaks serving as the exception to this rule, most of this region sits no more than 300 meters above sea level, and what's more, it's dry.The top third of Western Africa forms part of the Maghreb Desert, and everything south is buffeted by the dry winds, contributing to the sprawling savanna that is indigenous to this part of the world, housing short trees, hardy grasses, and a wide open canopy along with roaming herds of animals.

Economically, this area of the world suffers from much strife, many of the people living on incredulously low amounts of income. The main reasons for this minute flow of cash in this region is normally caused by one of two things: civil war and revolution, and unemployment. While some countries are making aggressive movements towards alleviating national debt and stabilizing state infrastructure, the majority of this region still feels the echoes of wars and violence past, some of these armed conflicts only ending very recently. Day to day life can prove to be a big struggle.

Such strife also has an effect on the spiritual forefront. Hollow influence in this region is very strong, usually requiring lower seated members of squads to be dispatched to defeat them. While there isn't any single dominant types of Hollow in this region, the Hollow in this area tend to travel in single type packs, numbering anywhere from four or five to twenty or even thirty strong. The occasional Gillian class Hollow has been known to pop up as well.

Dry, flat, and dangerous, Western Africa is a place where one should mind their wits.
