It was a sunny day outside, Akiyo had woke up rather early, and by mid day he was already done with his morning routine and had went out for a walk in academy grounds. It was a day off from studies for him, and Akiyo was sure to use it the best he can - relaxing and meditating some bits if he could find outside a peaceful corner in the shade. After all his black kimono was like a sun magnet, but there was no way Akiyo would dress up in anything else, than his female kimono. He walked down the road that lead from the academy's main doors and trailed off splitting up and disappearing in various directions of academy grounds. He made his way down one of the paths, which lead along the grassy area where a lot of students were sitting and chattering about. Akiyo without even rising his look walked past them, there was no way he wanted to get involved in any pointless chatting now. Especially seeing that it was quite doubtful anyone of them could actually be up to chatting about a topic Akiyo was interested in, and he highly doubted anyone of them would actually be up to sparring with him or even if they would - it'd be no fun, because they'd think Akiyo's a girl and a very delicate one. But on the other hand, Akiyo doubted there were many people in the academy who actually had managed to figure out that Akiyo wasn't a girl. Though Akiyo's looks and clothing, and make-up was no help when it came to figuring out his gender. Another minute later he noticed a tree further away from the small path he was walking down, where no one was sitting and made his way towards it. That place was quite good, it provided nice shade and even seemed that a lovely breeze passed by every once in a while. He sat down under the tree and rested his back against the tree, easing up. His look rose and he looked up, through his black hair bangs to the blue sky and the few white clouds passing by. "...at least one peaceful day once in a while, but it's a shame there's no one fun around the place..." he murmured under his breath, then tilted his head in the direction where all the students were sitting in the grass "...well they certainly look less fun then anything for me." Then he straightened up a bit and turned his head to look ahead for a bit, only to moments later close his eyes and start to meditate for a bit. |

Looking outside to see that whether or not it was a beautiful day was the current motive for Mira. He recently entered the academy and wanted to make some friends but wasn't sure if he was actually going to. If Mira made friends or not was not really a concern of his because those were less people that he really had to worry about. Mira then looked on his desk to see that he had a lot of work to do. He knew he needed to do the work but he also needed a break. Maybe even taking a break would be the best decision anyway. Who knows, maybe instead of studying and reading he might end up in some field action or a spar. Of course the field action would be the least likely event to happen to Mira on this sunny day. Mira stepped out of his room to see everyone outside chit chatting about everything. He wasn't sure if he was going to go over to someone and join their conversation or just look around. He decided it was best to look around since he didn't know anyone. Maybe someone would see that he is the new guy and come up to him and introduce themselves. Mira wasn't shy or anything he just didn't feel like introducing himself all the time. Who knew meeting people and making friends would be so hard. This is something that Mira definitely was not expecting. The best thing for Mira to do was to sit down and just wait for something cool to happen. Maybe there was a bully roaming the area just looking for someone to pick on and that someone would be Mira himself. Trouble really is not wanted but as of now anything is better than nothing. Still a friend would be more appreciated than an enemy. He walked over to the picnic table only to look around some more to see if any of the students were looking at him as if he was weird. From the looks of things though, the other students were not paying Mira any mind at all. He just let out a mild sigh before sitting down waiting for something to happen. |

Akiyo felt like he had lost track of time when he started meditating, but most likely it wasn't more then 20 minutes he had left this world, so to say. He stretched his hands, then the the stiff neck and finally opened one lazy eye to give a look around. It was still just as sunny and bright as before, he just had to assume that the feeling that he had been meditating for hours was just that - a feeling. He slowly pushed himself off the ground and stood up. Quickly brushing any grass or sand that hadn't already fell off his kimono as he stood up and gave a look around. The place he had chose was still quiet and peaceful, no one around the place, Akiyo smiled a little, but then his eye caught a rather dark skinned male sitting at the picnic table nearby the place Akiyo had settled. Not that Akiyo actually minded it, rather he was surprised the guy hadn't approached him and said something, as in past many other people would have. Especially males, they usually were too caught up in Akiyo's face, that they didn't manage to notice that their 'so thought girl' has a flat chest and the voice actually sounds rather manly, then anything else. And due to that Akiyo was rather happy for the set situation and made up his mind to approach the male sitting nearby. After all it might give him a chance for a proper chit chat for once. He slowly made his way towards the picnic table, and as he was only a feet away, he spun around and leaned back against the table, then with a graceful movement sat down on top of it, resting his feet on the bench next to it. "Hope you don't mind...?" Akiyo quietly said, as he brushed a bang of hair behind his left ear and stuck the pale blue rose he was carrying behind his ear. And without waiting for an answer Akiyo pushed forward and asked another question: "How comes you've wondered off so far from the rest of the students? I know why I did, but I doubt that what applies for me, as well applies for you." he stated, talking in a quiet voice as if to no one in particular, as his gaze was travelling around the grassy area looking for nothing in particular. |

A very feminine looking person walked up to Mira asking him a few questions. He planned on responding but he wasn't sure exactly what to say. He wasn't shy or anything he just needed to make sure his response was not stupid. Of course with just this one person talking to Mira there isn't a high chance that he would make that mistake. Looking over at the others while hearing the deep voice of the feminine person standing near him. He wasn't bothered at all but knew that he was going to answer the questions sooner or later. So it was best if he just got it out the way now. "Well, I am new here and I do not know anyone. I would go introduce myself to them but I'm assuming they'll just ignore me and move on." Mira only sighed waiting for the person to respond. He knew he needed to go over there to the others because he knew he was going to meet them. Not meeting them wasn't going to bother him much but he figured he didn't need to meet them now. "My Name is Mirakura Kuroichi. What is yours? |

When other spoke up a moment later, he finally tilted his head to the side and looked in the other male's direction. Akiyo for a moment looked at the other, then smiled: "I doubt they'd ignore you, but then again, you'll never find out if you won't try..." he peacefully said. Akiyo had a faint idea, that other still didn't have a clue about his actual gender, so he was going to play along and not point it out too much. After all, if he did, he most likely would have already pointed out that Akiyo was way too feminine for a guy. "Shuuda Akiyo. Or if it's easier, just Aki-chan~." he returned the greeting, introducing himself, at the same time implying on the 'chan' part. Akiyo was well aware of the fact that 'chan' usually was added to girl names, but then again 'Aki-chan' was a nickname some punk had came up with while he was living in Rukongai, and it had stuck to him, so he didn't minded it much...any more. "Pleasure to meet you~" he said and again smiled for a moment "Have any plans for the day or maybe I can talk you into helping me to learn how to use this black fiend...?" he said and with hand ran over the hilt of his zanpakuto. Yet the moment he said that, Akiyo could hear growling in the back of his head. Kitsune, as predicted, didn't like the idea that Akiyo was calling her a fiend. |

"Aki-chan?" Mira asked to himself. So it was apparent that Akiyo was quite strange but calling himself chan made him stranger. But having a strange friend was better than having no friend at all. Since the two met you would think they were friends but that's not always the case. Mira wasn't after a friend right away, he just wanted to get to know someone. He knew eventually he was going to have to get to know the members in his squad but right now it wasn't sure he was in a squad. He looked at Akiyo after he asked his question. He didn't quite understand what he meant but after a few seconds processing the question; he understood. Mira then looked at the sword he too was carrying. Again he wasn't sure if that was just a normal sword or his zanpakuto but he did not have anything else to do so he decided that he might as well help. "Sure I'll help you with your black fiend." If the so called black fiend was a zanpakuto and not a regular sword then the current spar was nothing to take lightly. There was a lot of things about being a shingami that Mira did not know let alone quite understand but he was determined to know. He had six years to learn everything there is to know about being a shinigami before being a member of the Gotei 13 officially and time was of the essence. Standing up from the bench removing the sword from his sheath. Mira let out a smirk, "Shall we begin? Or do you want to move to a place thats a little more 'open'?" With a hand on the hilt, Mira was ready for some action. |
