BLADE WEAPONS The Blade Weapons are five weapons that were created to combat the Legion. Legend says that the weapons were forged from the same fire that was the burning bush and they were cooled in the holiest of water. The five weapons were created for the soul purpose of destroying the Legion dark power. However the weapons were scattered once thier purpose was filled. Disappearing from the world in a flash, the legend of these weapons have been passed down from great warrior to great warrior. The weapons tend to take on a different form for each owner they have in order to help the warrior better fight. So, there is no telling what type of weapons the Blade Weapons actually are. However, this has all be speculation, this was until the Legion reappeared. Now people feel that these weapons are the only thing that will and can save the world. But is the Legend true...or just a bed time story...? Types Zweihander: Very large sword, it is a sword which has an extremely long blade and a handle which is to be held in two hands. This blade can be destinguished from normal Zweihanders in that it has a golden blade the same color as fire. The Blade Zweihander is currently in the posession of Oren Drake Great Sword: Also a large sword with a thick blade that is capable of cutting through most other blades. This blade is signified by its jewel incrested handle and gaurd, its current location is unknown though it believes the Legion possess it. Dagger: A rather short blade perfect for assasinations and close combat. The handle has a large hatched on it and the blade is rigid for a more of a tearing feel than a slice. What is noticable about this blade is that it is lined with a blood red color. The current location is unknown. Odachi: Very large katana, it is a blade that is as long as a zweihander but has the swiftness of a katana. Though not as physically strong as the katana it is faster in use. This blade features a rather unique blade design that has symbolic writings going up the blade. This blade location is unknown though it is believed it is two peices... Katana: A shorter version of the Odachi it is the normal shape of a katana. The blade is unmatched in speed attacks but isn't quite as strong as some of the other blades physically. This blade as a pure white blade and a white handle. It is considered the most beautiful of the blades, it was once owned by Ryu Akira but is now owned by Isabella de Cantala Each Blades power is that of eternal pure enegy, it is capable of bringing out the latent power of its usser thus the actual power change from weilder to weilder, as does the acutal blade. Weapons Masamune’s ‘Resilient shadow’ Said to have been made by Masamune, and signed by him upon the blade it was a Ninjato created for the legendary Ninja Hanzo Hatori, it was passed down his family line until it was lost in a small conflict to a European man who had come to Japan. He eventually settled down and raised a wife, and two kids. Eventually this blade would end up in the hands of his eldest son who was the only survivor of an attack by the Legion. The blade has a charm with lettering hanging from the sword, which allows the blade to take on many properties that are used against it. Thus far the sword weilder is unaware of this ability, for it has already gained the poison of Noturnal and Dark lightning energy form the Legion. The power of the blade was said to be from the combination of the skillful mastery of making blades form Masamune himself and the monks who had blessed the charm. Currently rests in the hands of Kaiber, the Warrior of Ash. Edited by Drake, Jul 1 2009, 05:31 PM.

Texts Book of Amun De: Also known as the book of the Dead. It was used by Egyptian priests to call forth souls from the underworld. Using the book a person could cause the dead bodies of mummies to return to life, even though they lacked most of their vital organs. On unfortunate priest almost used it to bring his love back from the dead but was interrupted before the ritual could be completed. It's a book composed of several tablets made from a very hard, black stone with it's writing carved into it's surface. Location: Hamunaptra, Egypt. (AKA City of the Dead) Book of Amun Ra: Also known as the Book of the Living. It's a binding of tablets with ancient Egypt's oldest and most powerful incantations for taking the life of the living and banishing them to the underworld. Used during burial rites for those who have been cursed. It details the mummification process as well as the inscriptions and incantations required for cursing souls during life as well as the afterlife. Location: Hamunaptra, Egypt. (AKA City of the Dead) De Vermis Mysteriis: An ancient text written by an alchemist Necromancer named Ludwig Prinn during the rise of the Roman Empire. It begins as a simple journal detailing the spells and rituals he learned by traveling from Rome to the Holy Land. On the 60th page however the style of writing changes. ![]() It becomes increasingly disorganized until finally degenerating into ramblings and gibberish. The little that can be discerned is that Ludwig summoned a spirit from the spirit realm. The spirit's nature was such that no mortal could ever fully comprehend it and by merely laying eyes on its form, Ludwig went insane. The spirit possessed him and forced him to fill the De Vermis Mysteriis with his unorganized spells and drawings. It is believed that if someone were to figure out how the spells in it were ordered and meant to be structured together, that person could summon forth the power of a godlike entity and use it to mold his surroundings at will. Many have tried, most have died, the rest have gone insane. Ludwig died in a sanitarium in London. The Nuns found him in his basement room pecked and eaten to death by ravens. No on to this day has discovered how the flock of 46 ravens got into his windowless, locked, stone room. Location: London England, in Furia's special collection. Ildatch: This text has been around since before men walked the surface of the earth. Some say the book itself is a living entity and it speaks to people through the writing on it's pages. Others say the book isn't alive but some kind of channel for extra dimensional gods. Almost everyone however, agrees that the book is evil. The power of the spells contained within it's pages aren't meant for humans to use. Their power is so great that they would destroy the body of anyone trying to use them. The book itself is made of an unknown substance. It resembles leather and paper but it does not burn and the earths strongest men have been unable to tear even it's thinnest pages. It's writing is in various types of ink, some of it is even written in blood. The book was acquired by an Arabic Sorcerer who recognized it's evil and banished the book through a portal to the most secure place he could think of. Location: Sunken Necropolis of R'lyeh Necronomicon: A book of unimaginable dark power. Only two copies of the original exist in the world today. The original book is 616 pages, bound in leather made from human skin and written in sheep's blood. Its introduction details a pantheon of demons who dwell in the netherworld and rule over the damned souls of earth as well as their own creations of spiritual energy. The text after that introduction details spells and rituals used for raising the dead using ones own spiritual energy or energy drawn from the netherworld itself. Most of the book however contains drawings of demonic seals used for summoning the demons to Earth. Some of the seals come with written directions, like what they must be carved into and with what. Some have time constraints, like they might only work during certain months or seasons. Most of them however do not come with any kind of direction, just drawings of the seals themselves. Location: Original - Vatican's protected archives. Copy 1 - Owned by the high priest of the Cult of Cthulhu Copy 2 - Owned by Sweets Edited by mikdatv, Jun 22 2009, 07:13 AM.
