There was a low growl from above them "Fog you idiot" A female's voice said as the winged green haired lady landed in front of him and Kai. "I told you to get that girl, not lollygag with this woman" She looked over at Kai, Queen instantly knew she was a nocturnal "Ah, one of my children..." She said to her "What is your name young one?" She asked Kai. She shook her head and turned back to Fog "As for you, I believe that Vlad will have some words for you" She said. |

Kailani all but fell over with the force of Fog's childish tag, laughing loudly. It had been a while since she'd had any contact with a fellow Nocturnal, hell she couldn't remember the last time really. "You got me! Nice job." she said giggling still when their fun and laughter was interupted by the oddly growling woman that ended up flying between. "Excuse me? I don't believe I'm anyone's child. Let alone yours." Kailani snapped. Something about this woman bothered her... "Kailani." she put simply moving closer to Fog, wrapping her arm with his protectively. "I don't think he apprieciates being called an idiot either." |

Queen laughed "Oh this is where you went Fog, to find a little nocturnal to stand up to you" she continued to giggle "I call you my child, child, because I am the very first Nocturnal, so some how or another some of my blood is running in your veins" she walked over to them and put her hand on Kai's cheek softly "Queen..." she said giving her name "And you are lovely child" she smiled and looked at Fog "And offly protective of him, I call him an idiot because he had a job to do and he isn't doing it" she growled. |

Kailani frowned more as the green haired woman moved closer towards them, touching her even. Baring her fangs she growled slightly. Authority, who needs it? Gently Kai batted away the hand on her cheek, still growling. "No touchy the facey. I was just showing him the way to the closest village with stronger victims than the miserable places around here... Wherever the hell you've sent him it seems hes been going for a long time." she explained. |

As soon as he heard the voice Fog felt the chains tighten around his mind. He slowed to a halt in front of Queen and stood passively. Being reminded of his task tugged at the chains ever so slightly. "I found her... had to leave... there were a lot of them, strong... I had to let it out and I think the bad thing happened." he mumbled. "Came here to get stronger... I need to more..." Fog trailed off slowly, barely able to pull the memories out coherently. He shook his head when she mentioned Vlad. "I don't think Vlad likes talking to me very much at all. I'm sorry I couldn't get her but I was in the cave for so long... I'm not as strong as I was anymore. Those two you gave me weren't enough... and I was in the cave for so long..." He put a reassuring hand on Kailani's arm. |

Queen looked at Kai "Foolish child, it would do you some good to show me a little more respect" she pointed to her mind "Now that I've touched you I have your energy signature imprented on my brain...I can find you whenever I want now...my child" she smiled. She turned to Fog "Why didn't you just come back to the castle..." She sighed and crossed her arms "You could've fed on some of the stronger guards, now Vlad is all angry about his daughter being gone" she turned around and cracked her neck "Come Fog we're going back to the castle, I have another assignment for you since Vlad is taking care of this one...bring your friend if she wants to come" Queen said opening a portal using her hand. |

The command resonated into the darkest corners of Fog's mind. "Another job? The last one was so much fun until..." Fog struggled to remember what had happened. Nothing clicked. "Maybe this one will be fun too." He pulled away from Kailani and took a few steps toward the portal, then turned back to face her. "I'm supposed to bring you if you want to come." He said blandly. |

Kailani frowned more as Queen explained the odd little touch. She didn't like this, not one bit. Though Fog seemed to respect her. Hell, he seemed to obey her every whim. Not too surprising considering who she was. "I'll come along... can't promise I'll say or follow any damn orders though." she said with a sigh as she tucked the bushy curls behind her ear and stepped closer to the portal. |

Queen laughed some "I didn't ask you to follow orders now did I?" She questioned "I just asked if you wanted to come..." she stepped closer to the portal "I thought you would be hungry and I am always willing to feed my own kind" she said going in the portal. |

Fog looked back towards towards the girl. "So your coming with us then, Good. I like you. These weird portals are fun to go through, C'mon." for a moment something shifted in Fog's expression, his face deadly serious. "Be careful young one. Everything has it's price sooner or later." the moment ended, and Fog stretched his legs absent-mindedly before diving head first through the portal. "Banzai!" |
