Without his armor on William was up in a flash. His sword, still sheathed in his right hand. He kept his tongue still. The girl was the Wizards responsibility, Will was only there as a guide. Personally William would use the girl as bate and send both the creatures back to hell where they belong. He glanced over at Chiaotzu who was still sleeping on the opposite side of the fire. He was more worried about his squire then the girl. He would die before letting what happened to the girl happen to the boy. |

Natalia stared at the little girl with a soft expression. She sighed,"I can only imagine what she is going through. She is so very young, and she has to strong to be strong to fight the urge to drink our blood." She smiled,"She is a very pretty little thing, too. I am sure she is going to be gorgeous when she grows up, if the Legion gives her a chance at life." She smiled and squeezed Xander's hand,"Right, Ian will probably be very upset with us both when we get home." Natalia blushed and stood up, letting go of Xander's hand,"That is because you are always in the lab with me. If you went out once in awhile, you might not think I was the only one." Her eyes darted over to Vlad the moment that her spoke. Her skin began to crawl,"I told you... something was wrong." She walked over in front of Kena and pulled out her other dagger. She narrowed her eyes,"Thats really weird. I didn't know you where my dad." She smirked and looked down at Kena,"Cause I am your big sister, right?" She glared at the other nocturnal,"You aren't taking her." |

Xander nodded at what Nat said "Its why I want to protect her, the Knight has to be wrong...she's innocent Nocturnal or not. She never chose to be that way" he said he lowered his head thinking "I know when someone has sold their soul to the Legion, she hasn't" He laughed some and looked up at her "Hey, you don't want me in the lab with you all the time?" he asked her "Would you I rather go out and find someone else?" he stood up and walked over to Kena with her. When Vlad appeared Xander grabbed for his staff Kena cuddle up to Nat in fear "I'm scared..." she said softly. Xander stepped in front of them "Nat's right you aren't taking her" Xander said he looked at William unsure if he would help defend Kena, maybe not but he doubt he'd let Xander and Nat fight this battle alone. |

Vlad looked at Nat and Xander "You would keep a father from his daughter?" He asked them "I've come here peacefully for my child and you would draw weapons on me" he lowered his head and looked back up his eyes fully red. "I command you all to drop your weapons and step away from Kena" he commanded using his mind control on them. |

Williams withdrew his sword about an inch from it's sheath but stopped. He had a sudden urge to just keep it sheathed and withdraw. He didn't even want to keep the girl so he didn't know why he would fight for it. He began to put his weapon on the ground. He stopped though when a dagger flew towards Vlad. William looked and saw Chiaotzu standing, his dagger gone from his belt. William stood again and finished drawing his blade. He wasn't going to protect the girl, but his squire he was sworn to protect. "Chiaotzu, lead the others to Castle El'Adeline. Take Thumper and the horses and get a head start. Bring my standard with you, that will be enough to get you in. I will buy you time." William said as he let his sheath drop to the ground next to his feet. |

Vlad looked over and quickly pulled out his Raiper to knock the dagger away. He sighed heavily "I tried to be peaceful about this, but I can see that its useless..." he said closing his eyes he reopened "That is the problem with you damned human, your so quick to violence...and for that violence its the only way you will learn" he held his raiper out in a traditional stance in order to face the man with the sword. "A holy knight? From the crusades?" he asked him "I fought in those wars, but only for the kill..." |

Natalia looked up at Xander with a wicked glint in her eye. She smirked and tossed her hair over her shoulder,"Would you want me to leave the lab? Would you like it if I met another man?" She laughed,"Our answers should be much the same Xander. I don't want you with anyone else. I would only have you with me." She turned back to look at the nocturnal with vague disgust. She had slid one arm protectively around Kena, drawing her close to her body. She smiled down at her,"It will be alright, sweet one. We shall take care of this scary man." Nat smirked as she stared down Vlad. Her body twitched involuntarily, but she never moved even once. She laughed,"Prove that you are this child's father when she calls me sister? I don't think you look like my daddy dearest. He was so much scarier than you..." |

Xander laughed some "You'd be right the answer is the same for both of us" he told her as he stood there with his staff out. He prepared to face Vlad until the Knight's squire attacked with the dagger. It seemed to serve to do nothing more than irritate Vlad "Great" Xander mumbled under his breath, he ran up to William holding up his staff "William, I can use my bind technique like with the other nocturnal, but I may need more time this one seems stronger..." he whispered "Can you distract him for maybe 3 minutes?" he asked as he prepared to use his attack. Xander turned around and nodded for Nat to join him, he would need her additional power to help hold the nocturnal with this technique. |

"No Wizard, you and my squire must protect the women. I will buy you the time you need to escape." Sir William said. His feet widened into a stance and he held his sword out in front of him vertically. "As much as i despise the girl she can be dealt with at any time. This creature is fully grown and powerful though and must be dealt with now." He looked over at the fire and then over at Chiaotzu readying the horses. "My brethren guard the castle, they will be able to keep you safe. Hopefully you will come to your senses there and kill the girl before she grows up to become like this creature." He clutched the wizard by the collar and pulled him close. "But until then, keep the girls secret safe, or my brethren will take matters into their own hands." He whispered. He let go of the wizards collar and turned his focus back to the nocturnal. |

Vlad watched as the three of them were trying to decide who would fight him. He laughed "Sadly none of you will be getting away" he told them, he had given them alot of time to get to work on fighting, plenty of oppurtunities to attack him, but he was done. Vlad opened his eyes blood red and lept at the two the Knight and the Wizard. He swung his raiper at the Knight and his fist at the Wizard. |
