<<ENTER>> Isabella smiled at Drake when they entered the camp. She let go of his hand and spun so that she was facing him,"Welcome, to the camp of the Rebels of Freedom." She held out her arms to indicate the clearing filled with tents of many different shapes, sizes, and colors. Children were running throughout the tents as their mothers busied themselves with their works. All the men were sitting around a large campfire. She smiled when one of the children ran by and gently tugged on her tail. Bella bent down and scooped the little kid into her arms, nuzzling her head before she set back to running and giggling with the other children. Bella spun and her eyes searched the group gathered around the fire for her friends. She spotted both of them. Ryu was sitting with his back to her right next to the General. She motioned to Drake,"Come on, they are right over here." She took off at a run and pounced Ryu, making sure not to claw him as she wrapped her arms around his neck. She nuzzled the side of his face and purred deeply. She smiled at him,"Ryuuuuuu, I made another friend." Edited by Isabella, May 30 2009, 03:55 AM.

Drake smiled and walked into the camp with her he looked around he didn't realize there was this many people ready to fight the Legion. "Wow, bigger than my village" he said under his breath. He looked down as Bella nuzzled the kid Drake smiled and reached in his bag pulling out more bottles of milk he handed them to the kids and they ran back over to he women smiling. Drake smiled at this and continued to follow behind Bella, he would be thirsty but he would never finish off that milk before it spoiled. This way it was put to a good use. Drake stopped when he saw Bella pounce on the man with the black hair and a blue Kimono on. "Ryu..." Drake mumbled to himself putting the man's name in memory. Ryu looked at Bella "Welcome back Bella" He rubbed her head softly "Another friend" he turned around and looked at Drake the man dressed funny not like them, in fact unlike anyone he'd ever seen, Legion soldiers included. Ryu stood up and set Bella on her feet he looked at Drake the older man behind Ryu stayed quiet. Ryu quickly pulled out his katana and swung it at Drake's face. Drake didn't flinch as the blade stopped no more than 2 centimeters from his face. "Why did you not flinch?" Ryu asked Drake smirked "Cause, I don't run from fights" Drake told him reaching behind his back pulling out his sword. |

Isabella smiled and began to purr even deeper. She nuzzled Ryu one more time before he set her on her feet,"The Legion chased him to the cliff edge and hit him with alchemy. They were after his blade." She smirked when Ryu swung at Drake, sitting down next to the general now completely serious. She looked at the General,"The Legion are close. Two reptilian chimera came to the bank after Drake. He killed one, and I killed the other. They won't be able to report to Volluta, but we didn't hide the bodies. It will be awhile until they are missed, so we still have some time to hide them." Bella looked at Drake approvingly,"Good, he didn't back down. Ryu is sure to respect that." She turned back to the general with her sad kitty face,"I am sorry that we presented this problem, but I couldn't let a man drown. It would have been wrong of me." |

Yama looked at Isabella "You did the right thing dear, everyone's life is worth living, it is the reason we took you in" he rubbed her hair in a fatherly fashion, "But let us see if this man you bought us is really worth the trouble" he said to her. He turned back to Drake and Ryu and watched intently to their battle. Everyone seemed to had gathered around circling them to watch the fight. Ryu pulled his blade back sliding it back into the sheath, Drake looked on confused he'd never seen this fighting style before. Ryu quickly pulled the blade out Drake reacted blocking as fast as he could before he could move though Ryu bought his sheath around hitting Drake in the side with it. Drake winced in pain as he slid back some Ryu came at him again slashing the katana from left to right Drake blocked with the flat of his sword Ryu swung his sheath trying to hit Drake again. "I don't fall for the same trick twice" Drake growled as he twisted his sword forcing both their blades to slash the sheath in half. Drake lept back some as did Ryu, Ryu looked over at his destroyed sheath "This boy...he isn't a amature" he said looking back over at Drake "He's already adjusted to my bottojutsu..." he whispered. Drake held his sword in both hands he hadn't even broken a sweat yet "Strange fighting style...I wanna learn it" Drake smirked saying this to himself. |

Isabella smiled and laid her head on Yama's shoulder,"Have I ever thanked you for that?" She knew she had many times, but it was always nice to do it again. They had taken such good care of her. Yama and Ryu had both saved her life, and she would always be grateful to them. She smiled,"He took down a fully developed warrior type chimera without breaking a sweat. He is worth it... Plus, I like him." She became silent as she watched the fight with as much interest as the rest. It was always a treat to watch Ryu fight others. His talent had baffled her the first time she saw him truly fight. He seemed so scholarly most of the time. Bella's eyes widened when she noticed that Ryu's sheath was cut in half,"There is no way...." She smirked and looked up at Yama,"Told you he is worth it." |

Yama smiled at Bella "Yes you have many times dear, and each time I say you don't have to" he told her. He looked at her "Did he now...?" He asked her about he Chimera, the boy did seem to have skills but Yama was still wondering if he could be trusted or not. When Ryu's sheat went flying Yama laughed "He is good..." he said to her "I take it you think highly of this young man Bella?" He asked her. Drake smirked he knew Ryu had a speed advantage but Drake still had one move up his sleeve for the day. Ryu went towards Drake moving faster than Drake could keep up didn't matter only think Drake needed to see was the last move that would be the attack. Ryu got up on Drake in a blink of the eye and swung, but Drake saw what he needed to. Ryu's sword seemingly connected with Drake's body "Got him?" Ryu said but there was no blood, and suddenly Drake's body vanished. "What?" Ryu's said his eyes widening in shock. Before he could move he turned around blocking Drake's sword the attack was strong, strong enough to send Ryu back rolling across the ground a few times. Everyone seemed in shock, Drake smired "How'd ya like that buddy?" he asked. Ryu laughed "Very good kid..." he stood up and stabbed his katana in the ground "You were worth the trouble...welcome to our base" he bowed towards Drake, Drake looked at him and quickly returned the bow. |

Isabella smiled up at him and nuzzled his chin,"But I like saying it. You both saved my life... more than once. Sometimes I think that I forget to thank you for ever taking me in in the first place. I know that I am not like all the others..." She nodded her head,"I can't tell you the specifics. I sorta chased after the other one and destroyed it. The battle only took a minute though..." She blushed and hid her face on Yama's shoulder,"Yes, I think very highly of him. He is very kind and naive to many things, but he is still an excellent warrior if he can take down one of my kind in such a short battle." Bella stood up and clapped when the battle was over. She was purely shocked, but it had ended just the way she had hoped. Ryu had welcomed Drake. She went to stand next to Drake. She smiled up at him,"That was pretty good. I have never seen anyone do that to Ryu before. Let's go get you something to eat. I have some pretty good food and all the ointments in the medical tent." She turned to look at Yama and Ryu,"Would the two of you like to come with us?" |

Yama smiled at her "Okay if you insist dear" he said to her rubbing her hair again. When she blushed and hid her face in his shoulder he laughed "He's an excellent warrior, that blush you has is saying a lot more than that" he laughed some at her. He stood up when the battle ended "Good job young man good job" he said to Drake. Drake turned and bowed to him "Thank you sir" he said smiling he looked at Bella "Food sounds good" he smirked. Ryu went to stand next to Yama "No we have some planning to do" Yama said "Take him to get some food and stuff for the scratch you gave him" he laughed "We'll be in the meeting room talking about what to do with the chimeras you two encounter" he and Ryu walked away. Drake smirked he turned back to Bella "That was fun, I've never fought anyone like that before" he said he had a really big smile on his face until his stomach growled Drake let out a laugh "So, about that food" he smirked at her. |

Isabella laughed and looked at Drake as she spoke to Yama,"There is something more, but I wouldn't know what it is. I can't put my finger on it. Something is just.... different." She smiled smiled at Yama,"Do you know what this is? Why I find him so intriguing?" She bowed her head to both Yama and Ryu,"I will make sure to see you both... later." It was too early to tell whether she would leave or not, but it felt like some new chapter had begun in her life. The moment she watched Drake's body fall to the water was the moment that some invisible door slammed itself shut. She blinked back to the present,"Ryu is special. His fighting style is very unique, and you are the first person that I have ever seen beat him." Bella led the way to her tent, ushering Drake inside and closing the flap,"Take a seat." She motioned to a table in the far corner."I will get the soup started and find that ointment." She went over to a small makeshift stove that was easily carried on their travels. She tossed random meats into a pot and filled it with broth. She struck a flint to light the wood inside. Once it was started, Bella went over to a work station and grabbed a tub of sea foam green ointment,"It is going to numb your cheek for a moment." She walked over to Drake and rubbed some of the cream onto his scratches. She smiled,"Better..." She sat down the tub,"Does it feel ok?" |

Yama looked at Bella "You have a crush on the boy" he winked at her before he and Ryu walked off to their tent. Drake let Bella lead him to her tent he was smiling the whole way. Drake found it weird he had never met a person quite like her and he liked it. "Well I don't really call that a win" he said to her "He woulda beat me if we kept going, but it was fun" he laughed he walked in the tent and looked around, it was coozy, much like his old hut the one he and his sister lived in together. Drake walked over to the seat she had pointed out, he sat down and placed his sword on the ground. He looked up when she started cooking the stuff, he found himself unable to look away, in a strange way he found he had a connection wtih this girl. "Food sounds really good right now" he said his stomach growling some. When she came over to put the ointment on his face he smiled "It feels better" he said blushing some he put his hand on hers for a moment before pulling it away. "I umm...sorry, I've never had a girl this close before. I mean besides my sister..." he looked away still blushing. |
