Fog ascended the stairs two at a time, reveling in his newfound strength. He approached the door to one of the many throne rooms. Two guards opened the door and stood aside to let him through. Fog reached out and closed it. "Open it again. That was cool." He said gleefully.

The guard on the left sputtered "But you just-" Fog punched him in the stomach and he fell to the ground whimpering. The remaining guard opened the doors with shaking hands. "There you go sir." Fog lifted him of the ground and slammed him against the wall. "Coward, tool, I like the other one better." He set the quivering soldier down and patted him on the head. "just kidding, good boy." He entered the throne room and closed the door.

Fog walked forward a a ways and kneeled before the throne, feeling compelled to show respect by forces his chaotic mind couldn't quite remember the name for. "You called, master?"

Queen laughed and giggled as she looked at what her servants had bought her. It was a glass with blood in it, she picked it up and drank from it "Ah nobility" She said setting it back down on the trey, she looked over seeing Fog had come as per her command. "Yes I did..." She said to him she looked at her servant "Leave us for now" the servant bowed and ran out. Queen stood up her wings stretching as she did "One of our kin have escaped...a little girl, particularly powerful...as in sunlight already doesn't effect her" She sat back down and crossed her legs "I need you to find the little pest and bring her back" She waved him off as she did.

"Yes Master" said Fog rising to his feet. Some small part of his mind hated the woman and her ego for forcing him not only to do her bidding, but to use all these stupid formalities. He stared at a tapestry on the wall for a while, trying to set it on fire with his mind. Nothing happened. "Huh" he muttered to no one. "Could have sworn it worked last time." There had been no last time. Fog left the chamber and plodded down the stairs. A little girl, a little girl playing hide and seek. He thought. I like games.
