Xander smirked as he looked on at the flowers he had found. No he wasn't girly and liked flowers they would make good mixtures for his Alchemy. He smirked and picked and them he smelled "Ah...lovely..." he said as he put the tulip in his robe. He kept walking though something seemed off at the moment, as if he was being followed. "Trying to find the HQ by following me" he thought as he kept going. Whoever it was he would have to throw their trail before he moved on. |

Xander kept walking through the forest he finally had led who ever was chasing him out of the path of the resistance base. He turned around to see who it was "Whoever you are can come out now, I know you're there" he said to them. A person stepped out the bushes it was a young girl she was injured. "I..." She said before passing out, Xander ran over to her "Hold on" He said to her going over to see if she was okay or not. |

Xander was sitting there with a small fire going, he had cooked up some fish the girl started to move. Xander looked over at her "Hey" He smiled at her "Are you okay? What happened?" he asked her the girl scooted away as if she was scared. "Hey its fine your safe" Xander said to her, she was scared out of her mind that was clear. Xander couldn't help but think something had happened to this poor girl, it was more than likely the Legion he had to get her to talk to see what was wrong. He grabbed some of the fish and handed it to her "Are you hungry" he asked smiling softly at her. |

<Enter Fog> Fog perched quietly in a tree above the fire. He knew he would have to reclaim the girl soon, but for now he was content just to watch. He peeled bark from the limb of the tree absently, watching it flutter down towards the ground. A few pieces fell into plain view of the strange man below. Fog didn't notice and probably wouldn't have cared, he was tired of hiding. Maybe the man in the cape would do something interesting if he noticed, humans were funny when you surprised them. |

The girl looked at Xander at first she seemed scared and quickly took the fish from him. She started eating it Xander smiled and picked up his piece and started to eat it. "So, whats your name?" he asked her "I'm Xander" he said. She looked up at him and opened her mouth to speak "Kena..." She said finishing her fish Xander smiled "Well its nice to meet you...when we're done eating I'm gonna take you some place safe okay" he said she smiled and nodded continuing to eat her food. Xander had noticed the piece of trees falling but didn't do anything he didn't want to scare Kena, something was watching them that was for sure though. |

The sun hadn't quite set yet, but it was just above the horizon. Fog felt the strength sapped away by daylight slowly begin to return. Showtime. Fog leapt from the tree and went into freefall, landing in a crouch between Pale man and the fire. He stood and removed his hood, smiling contentedly. He approached as if dropping out of the sky was a completely normal thing to do. "Skinny, pale, whitish hair." He observed. "A little younger and you could be my twin. Of course I'm devilishly handsome and I'm a much sharper dresser. That probably means I'm the evil one right? I hope not 'cause I can't grow a decent goatee." He pulled a fish out of the fire and took a bite. |

Xander looked up as the man fell from the tree Kena scurried over to Xander and hid behind him. He looked at her for a moment "Its fine" he smiled and rustled her hair. He looked at the guy "Sorry but I'm an only child" he said to him as he finished his fish and tossed the bones into the fire he put his hands together "Thank for your life so that we may live" he said about the fish he stood up and helped Kena up as well "We're about to leave but help yourself to the rest of the fish, oh and be sure to put the fire out" he said picking Kena up and putting her on his shoulders she smiled some as Xander walked away there was something about the man he didn't like, he was ready just in case, thats why he had to pull Kena closer. |

Fog stared at the bones blackening in the fire, trying to understand why the stranger had talked to them. He stroked his chin contemplatively. "You could have at least said you're welcome." He said to the dead fish. "Now you kind of look like an asshole with him being all polite and you not saying anything." He looked up and realized the stranger and the girl were walking away. "Hey" He yelled. Running after them. "You can't go yet." He caught up with them and walked along side the stranger. "I mean you can if you want, I don't really care about you. but the girl has to come back with me." He stepped in front of the man and blocked his path. "I suppose you could give up without a fight, but that would be kind of dull." Edited by fog, May 30 2009, 06:38 PM.

Xander kept walking with Kena noticing the man had run up to them and stepped in front of them. "Huh?" Xander asked "Well she was hurt I was gonna take her for medical attention" he sat Kena down on the ground she looked up at the man then ran behind Xander again. "Well she seems to not want to go with you, so how about sorry I'm not gonna make her" he said "You don't seem to be her parent or brother..." when he mentioned a fight Xander laughed "Fight over what? You can come with us if you want..." he scratched his head "I mean I really have no desire to fight you, Nocturnal or not" he said letting the man know he knew what he was. |

Fog rolled his eyes. "Look you can do what you want kid, but I have to bring that girl back with me." He took another bite of the fish. "Thish ish delicious" he mumbled as he chewed. "what did you spice it with?" He laughed when the man said he didn't want to fight. "Just what I'd expect from the good twin. You really need to learn how to have fun." He unsheathed his sword and rested it on his shoulder. The twin blades shone red in the growing twilight. "Here, let me show you." |
