It was a pretty quiet night out most of things seemed peaceful. Crickets could be heard and there wa a slight breeze going through the trees, in the forest someone was running through the forest. It was a young man with blue hair he turned around seeing someone chasing "Dammit" he said to himself "All I wanted was some food, didn't think I'd end up starting a battle..." he growled to himself. He looked back and the people that was chasing him was gone Drake stopped running "Man, they sure don't know when to give up..." he was breathing hard. He then stretched some and looked around "Where am I?" he said suddenly he heard something Drake turned around seeing a large purple beam coming at him "Shit" he said as he was blown back and threw through the forest Drake flew out the forest off a ledge and fell into the river below. He was knocked out as he washed away down stream the sun starting to come up. |

Isabella wiggled her toes in the water as she stared up at the brilliant blue sky. It was gorgeous clear day, and the Resistance had remained well hidden long enough for Bella to not be nervous when she slipped away. The hair on the back of her neck stood up when she slipped into the water. She hissed loudly when the water was up to her waist. Her eyes shut tight as she fought the urge to jump out and lick herself clean. Something inside her tried to scratch its way out every time she bathed. She sat down and began to bath with the lye soap that slowly burned her skin. Bella shot up out of the water. Her sensitive ears had picked up on the crashing in the woods. She stared up at a cliff that overhung the river just fifty feet away from her. The bright purple light made something in her mind click,"That is either the Legion.... or our camp." Her eyes got wider when the body hit the water. She growled as she swam out to the middle of the lake and tightened her fingers around the man's cloak. She struggled all the way back to the bank, pulling him out of the water as quickly as she could and shaking herself dry. Bella licked her hand and ran it over her face methodically. |

Drake was sinking in the water he couldn't move he was hurt from that attack to say the very least, but he felt something pulling him. A person? Someone was saving him? Who the hell was way out here? All these things went through Drake's mind, he was trying to keep himself from falling unconscience. When he felt he was on dry land Drake started coughing some water coming out as he did. His eyes started to open slowly as he came to, everything was a blur for a moment. "Than...thanks" he coughed out when he looked up at his savior Drake's eyes widened at the shock a girl with cat ears he shot up and scooted back "C...cat girl!!!" he yelled pointing shocked. He then looked down at her his face turned red and looked away "Naked Cat Girl" he said covering his face. |

Isabella smiled down at the man when he began to cough. It was a good thing he didn't need to be brought around. Alchemy was a dangerous weapon. Whoever had attacked him could have been trying to paralyze him. Her eyes narrowed at his reaction. It was uncommon for people to act this shocked at the site of her. Chimeras had been around for nearly twenty years. She hissed at him, not caring that her being naked was embarrassing him. Her ears flattened and her tale began to swish back and forth,"Excuse me for getting completely drenched to swim out there and save your ass. You could at least act like a grown man and not blush." Bella pulled on her clothes as quickly as she could. When she was done, she hissed again,"You can uncover your face now, human. I am decent." |

Drake's reaction quickly changed when she yelled at him, she said that Chimera's had been around for years. Drake was so out of it he hadn't realized how he had reacted his grandfather had warned him, there were somethings in the world he would have to get used to. When she said she was decent Drake looked back at her "I'm...I'm sorry" he said to her his voice soft. "You're the first Chimera I've ever seen, and well the first naked girl I've ever seen too" he said to her Drake stood up and smiled at her "Thank you for saving me, you really didn't have to. It was very nice of you" Drake looked over up at the cliff he was blown off he rubbed his head. "Dammit" he said to himself "I wonder if they're still after me" he turned back to the girl "Oh, I'm Drake...and umm sorry again about that" |

Isabella's expression changed from one of anger to one of pure shock. She put her hand over her face for a moment until she had calmed herself. Her ears perked back up and her tail stilled. She sighed,"You don't have to apologize." She smiled at him and leaned against one of the trees bordering the bank of the lake."Your welcome, but there really is no need to thank me. No way am I going to let some innocent man drown when there is a chance I can save him." Her ears perked up and she peered at the cliff,"Who was after you?" Bella grabbed Drake when she realized someone was advancing to the edge of the cliff. She pulled him to her and wrapped her arms around his neck. The move effectively hid both her and him. There was no way that whoever was after him would be able to make out any detail. She glanced at Drake, then back to the cliff,"My name is Isabella, but people around here call me Bella. It is nice to meet you.... and its fine really." When the pursuer seemed to be looking in their direction, Bella kissed Drake. She pushed him away once the figure disappeared,"Now, who is after you?" |

Drake scratched his head "No I do, my reaction was totally uncalled for" he said to her still laughing some. He crossed his arms and watched her ears and tale she was pretty cute "Well you're pretty noble there, not many people would do that. Saving someone they don't know that is..." he looked back up at the cliff "Well they were" Before he could finish she pulled him closer apparently trying to hide him by pretending they were together. He smiled some "Its nice to meet you too Bella..." before he could talk again she kissed him. His face turned red this was a day of first for him. First Chimera, first nude girl, first kiss, and all the same girl. Drake laughed at this for a moment before finally getting to the question she had posed a minute ago. "Well I think they were part of the Legion, or just some pissed off Alchemist" he said to her, Drake looked behind him "My sword..." he said realizing it wasn't there. "Dammit" Drake ran over to the river taking off his cloak, shirt and boots before jumping in. He swam to where he was just at looking for his sword, once finding it he climbed out the water. Isabella laughed and tilted her head,"Noble? It was nothing like that at all. I have just seen too much death in my life. If you would have drowned when I could have saved you, then your blood would be on my hands. Knowing someone is trivial. The legion doesn't deserve to take lives anymore." Her ears twitched slightly as she took in the information. She smirked at his blush,"Sorry, but it is the only tactic short of pouncing you that is most always completely effective." She looked up at the cliff with an amused expression,"Legion warriors don't always have the ability to put two and two together." Bella bit her lip as she watched Drake. She was finding the movement of his muscles more interesting than they should have been. It had been years since she watched a human like this. The people she lived with didn't appreciate it if she stared. Blood trickled down her chin in a thin line from her lower lip, bringing her back to the present. She blinked as he stood there examining his weapon. She drew in a shaky breath as she walked past him to the water. Blood dripped off her chin and onto her chest,"I have never been this stupid..." She licked her hand and began to wash her chin, as she stared into the water. |

Drake looked up after grabbing his sword he started to put his shirt and cloak back on. He sat down to put on his boots "Seems like you've been through a lot Ms. Isabella" he said to her standing up and strapping his sword back on. He laughed some "Thats some tactic you got there..." he continued to laugh until he noticed her lip. "You okay?" he asked her confused as to why she bit her lip that hard. He walked over to the water with her and handed her a handkerchief "Here use this" he said smiling at her he then heard something. He turned around 2 guys in all black were there. Drake got the water and smirked laughing "Hey...you guys found me" he said to them. They pointed at him "The sword...hand it over" One of them said. Drake laughed and pulled the sword out "You mean this ol thing...sorry but its mine, if ya want it..." he spun the sword over his head and prepared to fight "You're gonna hafta take it from me...bitches" he added the last part with a devious smirk. |

Isabella looked up at Drake in complete dismay. No one had ever referred to her as Ms. Isabella. Slaves were hardly called by their first names. She shrugged,"I guess so... but I have never looked at it that way." She sighed,"And don't call me Ms. ... it makes me feel... old. Isabella is just fine." She used the handkerchief to dab at her lip until it stopped bleeding. She looked down at the ground,"Tactics are a learned thing. It was never mine." She sighed,"Six years with super sharp canines, and you think I would have learned not to worry at my lip like that." She stood up and handed the blood stained handkerchief back to Drake,"Thank yo...." She spun to stare at the two men who had disrupted their moment. Her katanas were resting against a tree somewhere behind them. She growled and knelt down, drawing a circle in the dirt quickly. Bella clapped her hands and drew a large glass sword with a stone center from the ground. She smiled,"It is amazing what you can do in a pinch? Right? Sand for the glass and stone for a core. Brilliant truly." She twisted the blade in front of her and smirked,"Come along then boys. Lets make this fight fair. Two on Two." She smiled,"The way God intended." The last sentence was added just to fuel the fire a bit. A pissed off enemy usually led to a victory. |
