It made her feel measurably better to have him by her side. She gripped his hand back, and lifted her head up to lay it on his shoulder. She glanced up at him,"Thank you, I really do feel better with you by my side." She bit her lip and looked away from him to the scene playing out by the campfire. It shocked her that the child was so oblivious to the knight's hatred. She sighed,"It isn't that, and you know it. I have a horrible feeling about this whole thing. Something just isn't right." She froze after he mumbled the last bit under her breath. That was something she had been trying to get him to say for the last year at the very least. Nat smirked, knowing that she had the upper hand at the moment,"I don't know, Xan. You have to ask Da..Ian first, and he has to approve." She lifted her head and placed a finger on his chin, turning him to face her,"I don't know if he would want me with such a mature man." She leaned in and gave him a quick kiss, her cheeks turning completely red,"Even if that is what I want."
