So you might know how the forum has been inactive for the current month.
And since we're already kinda dead, let's work to keep this forum better!
1. Be sure to advertise us! (In the correct areas)
2. Tell your friends about us!
3. Be active! This will make more members!
Thank you all for reading this!

I'm proud to say that BoW has done a good refresh with the banner/forum images!
So it's like this:
The circles represent new posts/black kingdom tech points.
The diamonds represent no new posts/white kingdom magic points.
So that's all for now!

Public Shaming.

I've seen many members public shaming (a.k.a. 'naming and shaming'), and 'stirring the pot' lately. I wanted to tell you that it's against the rules, and shouldn't be done.
This is what each act is:
Public Shaming/Naming and Shaming
This consists of telling other members about bad things a different member has done. It doesn't matter whether they're there or not, which is a difference between naming and shaming and stirring the pot.
Example:
That's an example of naming and shaming. It can come in many different ways, but it's always about the same as my above example.
Stirring the pot
Stirring the pot has the same roots as Public Shaming. Stirring the pot consists of gossiping about other members behind their back, so they can't defend themselves. Many people who 'stir the pot' don't even know the person they're talking about, and just want to cause drama.
Please, don't do these things. Some staff members are getting irratated by it, and if you get caught doing either of these, you'll get your karma altered (obviously negative). No questions asked.
Thank you,
///Staff

C-Box

Yes, we don't have to have another chat, but I thought it was nice.
The Idea
First off, Bri asked me to make a chat box for her site.
Then I chose a C-Box!
Then something came up in my mind.
That it would be nice to have a chat between two forums.
So I copied the HTML to both Bri's forum and mine, and voila!
RULES
1. No impersonating; if you are found to impersonate, you will be IP banned.
2. Follow the BoW/VD main rules.
3. No SPAMming, pot stirring, flaming, etc.
4. No swearing
5. No advertising
6. No personal information on the chat

FavIcon change

So first of all, a Favicon is that little icon that appears in the address bar of your browser or bookmarks/favorites.
Well, we took out the pawn and replaced it with a shiny, pink, 'B'.
But here are the questions:
1. Do you think the pink fits in?
2. What font should I use?
3. Anything else?
Please answer these questions by PMing me so other people don't use the same answers as you!
Then the staff will discuss the answers and I (iDmo) will change it depending on the staff AND the members.

Choosing a Secure Password
Posted by
Mannequin (White Royal) at Mar 17 2009, 12:37 PM. 0 comments
Picking a secure password is the most important thing to make a safe account.
This guide will show you how to choose a good password.
Chapter 1. The sentence
Usually sentences can make good passwords.
First, let's use an example.
That's kinda easy to guess, so let's move on.
Chapter 2. Shortening it down
Shortening it down is the trickiest part, you have to know the sounds and judge what character it'll be.
Let's use My:
y = i
M = |\/|
Then it becomes |\/|i
Burger can be bg depending on the syllables.
Same with tasted
Too can be 2
Good can be gd
To can be 2
Be can be b
True can be tru
Chapter 3. The results
Now it becomes:
It looks really weird, that's good!
Now your password is safe.
But not yet
Let's replace 2 with @.
NOW we are officially done with a safe password!
