"Mostly just long range, but that doesn't mean I don't know how to stick a knife in someone's gut if I have to." If she had any reason to be thankful at all right then, it would be for the fact that the car heater was still fully functional despite the earlier collision. Sniffling miserably, the female burrowed herself further into the depths of her puffy jacket all while cursing the damnable weather. If it wasn't for all the snow, she would have gotten started with the mission already. They, she corrected herself mentally. They would have gotten this mission started with already. Which left her with the question of “why?" Why give her a partner at all? The Organization had always trusted her with solo missions before, and this was the first time that they had forced a partner onto her. And at the last minute too, no less. Lorelei could only wonder if something had upped the mission's importance; it was a surprising notion, given that any missions in relation to nuclear facilities were given high priority to begin with. She turned her critical gaze on her partner, studying his profile for a few brief moments before finally asking, "What about you?" The question was not asked out of politeness; rather, it was vital to get to know her partner's capabilities in order to carry out the mission successfully. The rest of the car ride would consist mostly of interrogations, whether either of them liked it or not. (( Pardon the cruddy post; I haven't done this sort of thing for close to half a month already. )) Edited by Sora Mizuiro, Jul 17 2009, 09:53 AM.

"Mostly just long range, but that doesn't mean I don't know how to stick a knife in someone's gut if I have to." "Ah, it would make sense if you are to do that," he said quietly as he kept his focus on the road, maneuvering so that the road and potholes of the road wouldn't disturb the "ice princess" next to him as she tried to keep herself warm. He didn't think he would need to talk again to fill in their silence as he let himself wander off into his thoughts. "IT'S ALL YOUR FAULT!" a girl screeched at him, throwing what appears to be a pen that flew right by his ear and then a marker. "But..." he only managed to say, before another rain of home products rained down on him, forcing him to leave. The situations had gotten disastrous for him, after that one mission for the Organization. The mission had ended up causing him trouble with his relationship with his girlfriend at the time. He had been wanting to get engaged with her, and was to propose when she had decided to dump him. After that, he ended up losing half of himself as he watched her walk out the door, never seeing her again. He broke out of his thoughts when she spoke up again. "What about you?" "Doesn't matter for me," Jin said with a shrug, looking around the area to find somewhere to park. "I can work close range or long distance, whichever the mission requires of me so it doesn't matter." His eyes were dark and devoid of anything that radiated anything pleasant. After that little "problem" with that girl, he had absolutely buried himself into training for anything to the point where his body was no longer "human." Although it still was, but it wasn't the same as a regular guy's as his body was almost covered in entirely scars from his training and missions. His body was sharp as a knife now, but still as soft as silk when needed to be, he had learned when he accidentally hurt someone that was close to him. Slowly, he parked the car a bit of ways from the compound so that the vehicle would not be discovered. "We're here." |

Lorelei murmured cryptically in response, blinking distractedly as she watched the facility come into view behind a heavy veil of winter flurries. Well, that had been exceptionally fast. She could only assume that it meant his car was still working just fine despite the earlier incident, and that one thought was nearly enough to get her angry all over again. Not that she still wasn't. This was all what's-his-face-again Smith's fault. She doubted that was even his real surname, given his Asiatic features, but at least she now had a name to pair with the silent curses that she was sending in his general direction. Why had her car gotten the bad end of the deal when it wasn't even her fault that the accident had happened at all? She had been following all the traffic regulations (for once), obeyed the speed limit (for once) and even had her seat belt strapped on (again, for once). So why today, of all days? Life just wasn't fair. In a final display of her discontent for how the situation had turned out, Lorelei sighed heavily before snatching up her briefcase. She grasped at the handle under the side view window, putting enough force behind her movements to make the car shift as she jerked the passenger side door open and stepped out of the car. She regretted doing so almost immediately, as a cold blast of wind smacked her straight in the face. Biting at the insides of her cheeks in an attempt to keep the shivering at bay, Lorelei jerked the scarf away from her neck, leaving her bare skin exposed to the harsh elements. She worked at the zipper of her jacket with trembling fingers next; tossing the garment into the passenger seat of the car once she’d managed to undo the zipper. It landed with a surprising clank against the plush seating, but the female was too distracted with getting her next layer of clothing off to register the noise. The process continued until she had removed all the excess articles of clothing, leaving her with little more than a black sweater, matching-colored gym pants and a pair of boots to protect her from the frostbite. She reached back into the car seat to flip her jacket over so that the interior was exposed. Strapped to the fabric were several short daggers which she hastily pocketed before her hand accidentally brushed against her scarf. It was still temptingly warm, and for once, Lorelei hesitated. Oh, what the heck. She’d take it with her, hindrance or otherwise. She stood up straight, wine-colored eyes taking in their surroundings with almost mechanical precision. The facility was hidden under the guise of a cosmetics factory, as indicated by the smoke billowing out from the smoke stacks that topped the concrete building. There were no visible guards surrounding the perimeter, but she caught the telltale blinking of surveillance cameras near the doorways. If she remembered correctly, there were at least forty-something guards lurking around behind that concrete wall. Lucky bastards; at least it’s warm in there, her inner voice growled before the other, slightly more useful (but not any more pleasing) thought occurred to her: she wouldn’t be able to use her sniper rifle indoors. That left her with little more than basic daggers, some grenades and a hand gun with about fifteen shots left in it to work with. Wonderful; Lorelei could only hope that her partner was at least a bit more well-prepared than she had been. Tying the scarf around her neck, the blonde tilted her head to catch a glimpse of her partner still in the driver’s seat. “Ready yet? I’m gonna freeze to death here if you don’t hurry up a little.” And as exaggerated as the statement seemed, she really wasn’t joking. Edited by Sora Mizuiro, Jul 18 2009, 10:08 PM.

He watched as she stepped out of the vehicle, only to see the regret appear on her face. Ah, smart. Then again, he wasn't wearing anything better, but he needed to wear as little as possible for their mission but the cold outside was already bitterly cold. Deciding that since this was the best time as he was going to get, he reached into the back seat to pull out a pack of needles, knives, and hooked the daggers onto his belt. Along with that, he pulled out several clips and then placed the clips inside a vest he picked up to wear. Seeing as he was going to get rid of the jacket by leaving it in the car for more ease of access to movement, he took off his jacket leaving his black thermal shirt on and jeans, although, these jeans were worn down enough so that they wouldn't hinder him. However, since black isn't really an ideal color for snow, he stripped off his thermal shirt, shivering, and picked up his "special" white one instead and waited a few seconds as he felt the heat set in thanks to the heat of the car. If she had been looking in at the moment he took off his black thermal shirt, she would have seen at least a dozen scars on his torso, faded, but there. Briskly he then slid on his vest. Then he picked up two hand-guns and slid them into his zipper pockets and then placed several other weapons into his inner pockets. He was fully equipped now, although he didn't look like one to have that many on himself. Underneath his jeans around his ankle was strapped several smaller daggers and knives in case he ran out of the ones he was going to use. Since he didn't want to leave a single trace, he wore commonly worn leather gloves that was not traceable, checking to make sure that there was not a single hole or cut in them. He took off his aviator sunglasses to better see as he stepped out of the car. His messy raven hair only seemed to have gotten messy further thanks to the biting wind and cold. Before he decided to speak up, she spoke up first. "Ready yet? I’m gonna freeze to death here if you don’t hurry up a little.” "I've been ready, Princess, and besides, I doubt you would want me to warm you up," he said, smirking. This girl was certainly interesting, especially if she was that bitter about winter, although he had his own fair share of hatred towards the season. And if she bites on that remark by flaming up in anger, he'd certainly would love to tease her. Before she could snap about him for the nickname he decided to give her just then, he seemed to run ahead before a strange thunk occurred in the engine. Then he swore. "There goes the engine, I was wondering when it was going to die..." He sighed as he flicked open the phone and called someone about the fact that his engine finally gave out. He flicked it shut before he seemed to run along the snow towards the building as to build up heat inside him. Although the thermal shirt was helping, he wanted to feel the heat of the building when they go in. Avoiding any view of the cameras, he disappeared around the fence of the building before he found a worn out entrance through the gate, although not ideal, it was good enough for him, as for his build, it was already good enough so it was sure to fit for Lorelei. He gestured her to follow, in case she wasn't already, but he doubted that she was sticking around to NOT move. As he moved through the gate, he was wondering where the guard was before deciding that he thought too soon. There, walking around the building was a guard, shivering as Jin was pretty sure he could hear the clattering of teeth through the roar of the snow that was falling. So when he wandered over where near Jin was hiding, he reached out and punched the guy straight into the gut with all of his force to go through the thick amount of clothes. From where the guard had been, he had just passed the entrance to the building. Figuring that it'd be difficult to enter through that, he decided that the backdoor was always the best. Reaching down to check the guard's belt, he found the keys in. Taking off the man's jacket, he wore it over his vest and took off the man's hat. He grunted as he made the man sit upright against the wall, so that someone would find him and then gestured to Lorelei to stay here. Walking like a normal guard, he walked up to the door and opened it, and checked that when the camera was away from the door, he disconnected it, hoping that the guards up in the security room wouldn't think too much of it, as it WAS snowing rather hard. Making sure that Lorelei was watching, he gestured her to come over. He then held the door open with the hat and walked over to the now out-cold man. He dragged the man in, resting him against next to the now closed door out. Just then, a picture of a family fell out. He sighed before getting up and then taking off the jacket and hat as he placed it on the man and the picture on top of the jacket. The hall that they were in was rather dark and deserted, but very, and really warm compared to the outside. It was comfortable warm after they warmed themselves up after a few minutes. Although, since they were warming themselves up for several minutes now, his shirt had been slowly changing color to black. The hall was what appeared to be deserted but he was pretty sure that it wasn't going to be that way for long. He readied his first gun and placed the silencer on it as he cocked it, ready to fire. He glanced at her for a moment as he said... "Shall we move on now?" Edited by DarkAngel013, Jul 19 2009, 12:28 AM.

She'd caught a glimpse of his bare torso went she'd bent down earlier to drop her belongings onto the car seat, but had made no comment on it. Wounds were no strangers to the either of them given their occupation; a sad prospect, but it was the truth. At least, the former medical student noted, the injuries had closed up rather nicely for the most part. There was a particularly nasty one running down about an inch from his spine though, and it looked like it hadn't gotten the proper medical attention it demanded until it was too late to repair. Tempted to take a closer look, her hand had involuntarily inched forward until she suddenly caught herself. Just what was she trying to do? Horrified and more than just a little disgusted with herself, Lorelei forcefully shoved the traitorous hand in her pocket. It was all because of the weather, she reasoned silently with herself. Her body was simply attracted by the idea of human warmth, which, given her current situation, was warranted. She hovered impatiently over the open door, her boots digging into the snow drifts at her feet in an attempt to keep herself occupied while she waited. The faster they got into the compound, the better. It would be warmer inside, no doubt, and she could be sure that something like her earlier slip-up wouldn’t happen again— "I've been ready, Princess, and besides, I doubt you would want me to warm you up." Princess? Oh, he was really asking for it now. She jerked her head up to shoot her partner a murderous glare, and frostbitten fingers moved to reach for the daggers at her waist that were suddenly begging to have themselves buried into his thick skull. “Call me that one more time, and I can assure you that body won’t be staying warm for much longer,” she snarled in warning. The blonde had already taken several steps towards him with the intent of causing her partner some bodily harm when a less-than-comforting thud interrupted her. Considering the cursing that followed the noise, she could only reach one conclusion. "And there goes our chances for a speedy getaway," she observed dryly, somehow managing mask her internal cheer over the fact that his car did not escape totally unscathed either. Hah. Even if it did mean that it could only end up making the mission harder for them in the long run, at least she would allow herself this brief moment of triumph. She turned away from Smith and the car to hide the growing smirk and unclasped her briefcase to reveal a variety of items that Lorelei had earlier deemed essential for the mission at hand. She grasped at the barrel of her rifle, hesitating briefly before throwing it in with the rest of her belongings in the vehicle. It would mean less stuff weighing her down, but it also meant that she had fewer means of protecting herself in case of an attack. Well you win some, you lose some. Lorelei looked up in time to see Jin heading around towards the back of the building before motioning for her to follow. She slipped easily enough through the entrance after him, lingering by the gate to put a silencer on her handgun. The building seemed too quiet; it was a fact which, instead of setting her at ease, only served to heighten her suspicions. Would a nuclear research facility really have such little security? Granted, it was snowing a blizzard’s worth of frost at the moment, but to have lightened the number of guards to such an extent seemed a highly unlikely prospect. An unfamiliar figure rounded the corner just then, and Lorelei stepped back with her weapon raised and ready to fire just in case her partner was in need of backup. It soon proved to be unnecessary as the dark-haired male punched the guard to unconsciousness in a single swift stroke before proceeding to strip the poor man of his vest and hat. He motioned for her to stay put outside, so the blonde walked over to where the guard had been propped up against the wall to relieve him of both his gun and his remaining bullets. The handheld transceiver at his waist was dealt a quick and merciful death with the hilt of her gun before she stood to wait grudgingly for her partner. Soon enough, he opened the door for her to slip inside while he busied himself with dragging the unconscious guard in with them as well. “I don’t think we have much of a choice. They’re bound to send someone down here to check on that camera sooner or later,” she responded quietly, eyes trained intently on the locked door at the end of the hallway. If the vague blueprints they had been given were to be trusted, the majority of the information was stored in one of the western rooms on the third floor. Their current location was at the southern entrance of the ground floor, which, all things considered, wasn’t such a bad start. “There’s a staircase up ahead that leads to the second floor. If we want to get to the third though, we’re going to have to go all the way to the other end of the building once we make it up there. It’s the only route available though, so it’s bound to have some pretty tight security,” she explained, eyebrows furrowing in thought. It was virtually impossible to make it to their destination without perking the attention of at least half the building’s security. Unless… Immediately, she began walking briskly in the opposite direction. “But first, we hit the security room.” If all went well, not only would they be able to have a clear view of the entire building, but they’d have access to the loudspeakers to boot. “Call me that one more time, and I can assure you that body won’t be staying warm for much longer,” she snarled in warning. "I'd like to see you try," he said with a smirk. He could already sense her coming up from behind, gripping the daggers at her waist. "I really would like you to try." She doesn't know him nor does he know her, but he could pretty much account for that he was used to harsh weather like this, but she probably wouldn't be able to move as fast as she could in this kind of weather. Were it indoors, well, it might be a different story... he might just be able to barely hold his ground, from the stories he's heard of her in the office. Then thus the thunk of the car event passed. He was going to have to come back for it later. "And there goes our chances for a speedy getaway," she observed dryly. "And there goes your heater for when we come out," he remarked, getting on ahead now after the call. Mildly, he wondered why there was a lack of guards... then again, it'd make sense considering it was bloody murder cold out here, especially since it's literally blizzard going on now. Later, inside, he listened to her reply to his question. “I don’t think we have much of a choice. They’re bound to send someone down here to check on that camera sooner or later,” she responded quietly, eyes trained intently on the locked door at the end of the hallway. He watched her eyes before glancing forward. "Of course," he replied, before he decided to move again, she spoke up again. "Got it," he confirmed, nodding his head, starting to move forward with silence that many others at the office would envy. However, he heard her speak up again and then fell into step beside her as he caught up to her. “But first, we hit the security room.” He decided he should only nod, seeing as if he ticked her off during a mission, it'd only screw things up. So far, he liked how she was able to think up of things like this. For some reason, he had a strange feeling about their odd partnership. Then again, who knows, a partnership is a partnership. He stopped her from moving, his eyes narrowing. He brought up his hand to make a sign to not make a sound, as he walked near the corner, peering out. Since the halls of the first floor were dimly lit, but enough so that guards would be able to see, a guard was walking by now. Just as a guard walked by, he shot him straight in the head as he walked over and he fell to the floor, dead before he hit the floor. "Crap, if there's one already, that must mean that there's going to be several later." He picked off the radio and destroyed it and jacked the keys. "That would mean that the room can't be too far," he muttered, looking around, seeing another one coming over. He smirked as he murmured, "You're up." Then he tilted his head toward the guard who seemed to be whistling, as if he was comfortable for staying during all of his shift indoors. And Jin was pretty sure that they were going to have to run back out into the cold... again. |

Cocky sonuva— She glared vindictively at his retreating figure. Had the mission not all but dictated that their mutual cooperation was a must, Lorelei really would have made the lunge. The taunting, she could barely deal with. The untimely destruction of her car by his hands, even less. But to belittle her and her competence was a direct blow to her pride, and Lorelei would not stand for it. She was not some little girl on a damn school field trip; she was a fully-trained field agent of The Organization. She could and had shot, gutted and poisoned people to death on multiple occasions, and this Jin Smith would find himself joining the body count if he was foolish enough to think otherwise. Once she got out of all this damned snow, that was. At this point, she was far more likely to trip and fall over the snowdrifts than put the man in a successful chokehold. Sulkily, she buried her nose in the woolen sweater and sniffled instead, intent on ignoring his comments for the time being. There was a time and place for everything, and this was certainly not the one for an internal argument with her mission partner. - - - - - - - - - - "You're up." Lorelei only nodded mutely in response. She had pocketed her gun and pressed her back against the wall where she would be out of the man's line of sight. There was no need for extreme measures (and she counted using a gun amongst them) when she had the advantage of surprise. That in itself would be more than enough to take on one man. The whistling sound drew ever closer, and Lorelei closed her eyes briefly in concentration. Now. She moved into his view just as he was about to turn the corner, dropping to the ground before the man had even the slightest chance to react. Planting her hands against the tiled floor, she twisted her body to give momentum to her outstretched leg. She hooked both his ankles in one smooth movement before forcing him off balance. Rising so that she was facing the falling man at an angle, the blonde struck her palm against the vagus nerve in his neck and knocking him out in the few moments it took his body to hit the ground. Unfortunately, the slight crunching sound that followed was probably from her arm that had gotten trapped between him and the floor in the process. Grimacing, she jerked her arm forcefully out from underneath the 200-something pound weight before inspecting it briefly. No real damage done, thankfully. She could only hope that the sound earlier had been a result of a popping joint in one of her fingers and nothing worse. She stood, stumbled back half a step, and bent down to hoist the man up by his arm. Grunting with the effort it took, she used her weight to move the unconscious guard so that he was propped up against the concrete wall. She turned next to stare at the less unfortunate guard slumped against the floor. "And here I thought you had some sort of compassion," she commented coolly, using her booted foot to gently nudge the unmoving body so that the male laid face-up. There was no response...not that she'd been expecting one. He'd been shot at point blank in the skull; a move that almost guaranteed an instant fatality. Making sure that she didn't accidentally step in the pool of blood seeping from the bullet wound, Lorelei kneeled to stare intently into the man's eyes. They were a glassy and lifeless shade of sky blue, pupils dilated against the dim fluorescent lighting that shone down on them. Exhaling heavily, she laid her hand over the top half of his face and closed his eyelids over the unfocused oculars. Enemy or otherwise, this was the least she could do for a dead man. "Hopefully what you've got there are the keys to the security room; none of the other guys had any on them the last time I checked." The moment of sentimentality passed quickly, and Lorelei rose again to peer down the hallway. It was clear for the time being, but it stemmed off into three other directions. Unfortunately, the blueprints hadn't mentioned anything about such a route. Which could only mean the papers were either old, inaccurate or both. Wonderful. Lorelei had a habit of looking upwards when she was facing problematic situations, and she was doing just that when a telltale red light caught her attention from the corner directly above them. A camera. They had been watched and they hadn't even realized it. She froze, eyes widening as the sudden, unmistakable crackle of loudspeakers was heard overhead. "...I think we might have a bit of a problem here." Edited by Sora Mizuiro, Jul 20 2009, 09:33 PM.

"And here I thought you had some sort of compassion," she commented coolly, using her booted foot to gently nudge the unmoving body so that the male laid face-up. "I would were I to know that more that 75% of the males in the building are single and unmarried while the other 15% are not on this shift," he murmured. "If you check, he's unmarried nor does he carry any family pictures or is he engaged." He had the information checked and pried from the person who gave him the information. Poor man, he'd been worked out too hard that all the information that he was told had been needed for the mission as it would determine would he need his guns or not. However, he understood when the situation called for it, he would not hesitate to shoot, family or no. Jin watched her close the lids of the man's eyes. If Jin had been any smarter, he could also probably say what his name was and what his age was at least. But he isn't so he didn't make a comment. "Hopefully what you've got there are the keys to the security room; none of the other guys had any on them the last time I checked." He checked the keys only to nod. Then he noticed the three different directions. "Shall we make a guess?" he said softly, gesturing towards one hall. However, on the walls... wow, that was stupid of them; had signs as to which way was what. Apparently, there was a sign that told that the one hall that Jin had pointed to earlier was the way to get to the Security room. Then he swore when he realized what had happened when she said. "...I think we might have a bit of a problem here." He didn't bother replying since it seemed like a rhetorical comment. He shot the camera with his gun from further recording them. Now, heading to the security room was necessary. He moved without asking her, seeing as it was pointless anyway as he moved down the hall until he came to a door that had a small window that led into what appeared to be the security room. However, two of them were sleeping and one of them was watching what appears to be a football game. The other guard was reading a magazine. He decided it was going to be too risky to make any sounds from his lips so he gestured that there were four guards, two of them sleeping and the other two being lazy and was watching or reading a book. And then he made gestures that he was going in on three and that she should have her gun ready, just in case they decide to shoot. He decided that he ought to take the risk and have the gun stowed away in his belt loop. Flexing his fingers as if preparing himself to do something, silently, he clicked the door open and then began the countdown. When his last finger went down, he pushed the door open and went to the nearest guard. Hitting exactly the right place on the head, the first guard slumped to the ground, out-cold. The next guard, the one who was watching TV jumped up and tried to went for the gun of which Jin kicked out of his hand and quickly punched him in the gut, sending him also out cold. Pretty sure that Lorelei was going to take care of the other two as they were in her side of the room, he went to delete the tape that had the record of them on it. And then, with one swift click, he made all of the cameras short circuit themselves, now sure that they wouldn't have any record of the halls for a period of, at the max, fifteen minutes. "We have only fifteen minutes before the cameras are back up," he muttered, pulling out his gun. "We're gonna have to hurry before their back up power generator starts up for the cameras. Also, I've disabled their security system so we can get what we need without a problem, but the main problem is the guards." He glanced at her with his amber-gold ones as they seemed to burn like fire. "We gotta move fast." This part of their mission was crucial as if they took any longer than fifteen minutes, the cameras will be up and it will catch them escaping and not only that, but their back up guards will start their way over here. He nodded to her to go first, seeing as she's probably much faster than he is indoors. "Let's go." |

She shot the male a withering glare. Really, what sort of faulty logic was that? The meaning of 'family' extended beyond just marital bonds. These people had mothers, fathers, siblings... Just because they weren't married didn't mean that there wouldn't be people there to mourn their deaths. To make it worse, they were just civil servants. They didn't belong to any particular faction, nor did they have any particular reason to be loyal to Hecht. To put it simply, they were just doing their job. And this man was killing them for it. Just barely managing to remind herself that this was not a good time to be cutting off blood circulation to his brain, she turned stiffly to follow after him. It was a good thing they were only working together this once; Lorelei didn't think she could stand him and his insensitivity for much longer. Some might say she was being too soft, but she honestly couldn't find the desire in her to like anyone who could strip away a person's right to live without so much as a second thought. Slipping her gun from its holster at her waist, she trailed him at a relatively easy pace. She might not have had the ability to mask her sounds as well as he did, but if it came to speed, she doubted that he could best her. It was a conclusion not of pride, but of mere observation. He had a thin frame composed mostly of lean muscle, but most of it was concentrated around his core and upper body. He probably had quite the stamina to boast as a result, but in terms of speed alone, Lorelei held the upper hand. She watched as he paused near the glass windows, raising an eyebrow as she tried to decipher his odd movements. The specifics of the situation were lost on her, but it was easy enough to tell that he meant to inform her that the guards inside were simply slacking in the job. It would have explained the earlier lack of reaction too. She mimicked his actions and slipped inside, dealing her first guard a swift jab to the gut, courtesy of her elbow. He stumbled backwards, and Lorelei took the opportunity to body slam the male against the metal desks where he slumped over backwards onto the keyboard. The second came at her with his hand reaching for his holster. He never even got a chance to pull out his gun, because the blonde--taking advantage of her lack of height--slipped towards him and collided the underside of his jaw with the handle of her gun. There was a distinct cracking sound of something breaking, which Lorelei could only assume was his jaw line. Well, whatever it was, the shock of being hit in such a manner was enough to leave him out cold. It seemed Jin had been busy with sabotaging the video data and whatnot, and Lorelei tilted her head as she absorbed the information. "Fifteen minutes? We could work with that." Blatantly ignoring his next question, she walked over to the tables and flipped the switch to the loudspeaker system. Deepening her voice the best she could, she spoke into the microphone. "Intruders by the northern entrance. I repeat, intruders by the northern entrance. All military personnel report to the north gates at once." Once the announcement was made, she flipped the switch back into the off position. It was hardly convincing as a male voice, but since she was well aware that the facility recruited female personnel as well as men, she supposed it wouldn't pose too much of a problem. Either way, they had just bought themselves a bit more time. "Alright, now we can go," she responded, slipping out the metal doors. Edited by Sora Mizuiro, Jul 21 2009, 08:57 AM.

"Alright, now we can go," she responded, slipping out the metal doors. "Nice dude voice," he said, smirking, knowing full well that it wasn't even close to a guy's voice. He then followed on after. He realized that he shouldn't have said what he said earlier about that information as to why he killed that male. He only sighed to himself that he was probably going to get karma later as it comes back to bite him in the ass, whether he liked it or not. Deciding that since they were probably going to try to avoid any more numbers of death total up, he decided that he was only going to use this clip unless he had to fight for his life. Whether she liked it or not, he wanted to live... Then he got cut off guard for a moment. What was he living for? He followed her, taking out the clip and replacing it with a stun clip, that would automatically cause the target to fall to the ground, out-cold, but will wake up in about an hour or so. He shot one over Lorelei's head as the bullet came in target with the male that just walked around the corner. Deciding to stop a moment to observe any other movement, he realized that this guard probably wasn't listening to the announcement and... oh, to his "surprise", the male was listening to his mp3 player. A tad amusing were it not for the fact that it was in the wrong place for him to laugh. He was still alive, smiling a small one as he realized that his stun clip was a success. He got up to follow on after she moved, seeing as she was moving towards the stairs to the second floor. Here came the next difficult part of the mission: the second floor. Jin stopped moving as soon as they excited the staircase, realizing that he heard that familiar whirring noise. "You hear that right?" he asked, keeping his voice soft. His eyes darted around, trying to see where that soft sound was coming from. |
