Name: Kja/kjak Roleplaying Experience: With actual skill? Since August 3rd 08 on DCF, but been RPing a bit before on Dawn of War Soulstorm before that, although it wasn't that good. Preferred Roleplay Style: Fantasy/sci-fi. Fantasy more often. Roleplaying Sample: My best post yet has gotta be this fighting scene: http://forums.dragcave.net/index.php?showtopic=34352&view=findpost&p=1464881 I was given control over the other character, me and that Character's owner worked it out before-hand, and it's pretty big so I don't wanna post it on here. My general work would be something like this: Blaze grinned at Raigen. "Good. I'd be a little disappointed in you if you did. Think you can hold them off for a couple seconds while I go power up the perimeter defences?" Blaze asked, already calculating how much effort, weapon energy, fire, and time would be needed to turn on the defences, and how much time Raigen had before he was over-whelmed by the Mavericks, and then how much time it would take Blaze to jump back down and assist, and THEN how much time it would be before the defences powered up, and they were BOTH overwhelmed. It was a big risk, but a calculated one, and they would both die anyway if he didn't. That's one of the rare times I go sci-fi. I HAVE been known to make one-liners, but to be fair, it's mostly in the middle of a conversation when all attempts to make it NOT a one-liner are transparent and futile, or after a major event when there's a lull in what's happening. But there are times besides that, no-one's perfect, and I'm only on the border between semi-literate and literate. |

"I mourn that which may have been but will never be." "Stupidity is a wound that bleeds forever; Intelligence is a blade that stays forever sharp" "An armed man will kill and unarmed man with monotonous regularity" "Nothing adds a little class to a sniper course like a babe in a Ghillie suit." "You have the rest of your life to solve your problems. How long you live depends on how well you do it." "Make your attacker advance through a wall of bullets. I may get killed with my own gun, but he's gonna have to beat me to death with it, 'cause it's going to be empty." | |
