![]() Location: Outside of La Mar City Tavern Date: Sept. 1st Time: Evening Ryuu's eyes flickered over to the female that watched Emry disappear off after someone that smelled of vampire. Probably Leviathan, if my memory serves me right, he thought. Then he turned his attention to the female werewolf and he stepped to appear in front of her. "Hello, to what do I owe the service of meeting you again Elemental Wizard of Wind?" he greeted, the words clearly the key words to unlocking her past memories. Surely, she would not agree all too happily on the idea of suddenly remembering her past but time was of the essence, especially with Nemesis awakened, from the feeling he had when the dark energy appeared in the tavern along with the fact that Nemesis had summoned Emry to come back made everything all too clear. "Yes, while you collect your thoughts, I shall wait here until then," he said with a interested expression. |

Solana sighed in exasperation as the troublemaker she was trying to follow suddenly waved at her and departed. She’d been so curious about him, it was quite a bother to have him just go trotting off like that. Rolling her eyes to the heavens, she turned around, remembering again how behind in her schedule she was. She didn’t get further than a step before somebody else blocked her path. Raising an eyebrow, she scanned him in interest, sniffing just a fraction to gauge his intentions. He looked to be about her age, and decently good looking. By the smell of him, he was a part vampire, Solana realized. However, she was feeling fairly tolerant at the moment, and made neither comment nor attempts to leave. But at his greeting, she stiffened, looking at him in shock. What had he said? A rush of memory hit her like a brick wall, sending her mind reeling. Backing into the real wall behind her, she stared at the newcomer with a sudden awareness of who he was. “Yes… of course…” she said, rubbing her skull with her right hand, as if that would help it forget again. How could she have forgotten everything? She shook her head to clear it, and then addressed Ryuu. “Yes, I am,” she said sternly, glancing at him in slight annoyance. “And you are the Elemental Wizard of Sound, how could I forget…and they,” she continued, nodding in the direction of the elves, “Must be Faelin and Alys. Grand. Wonderful. And… drat it.” Her heart sank as she thought of the troublemaker she had followed out. “…Emry.” Edited by Elka, Mar 6 2009, 01:40 AM.

It seemed like a good idea at the time... How are we to live in the present, look to the future and remember the past? If anybody has the number of the wise man on the mountain, could I please have it? I like black licorice and the color green. There's a reason for this madness. I fell off the Train of Thought. Burr shot Hamilton. Elka wants a red hat. I can't find any relation in the statements above. If you can, please tell me, so I can get rid of it. | |

Location: La Mar City Outskirts. Date: Later that same day. Time: Early Evening. Being a perceptive judge of character had turned into a talent as honed and practiced as any knife to a master. Prior to High Elf Faelin's hasty farewell, a certain young 'master' had been under the impression that she had the elf well-gutted. Opinions seem to change with the tides of the motley crew she'd met that particular afternoon. She had readjusted her messenger bag and, as of so far that evening, had done her best to make note not to inhale through her nostrils. Humans stank far worse than even the three-footed swamp toad from the South. Unlike the toad, however, they served for no greater good - no flying rabid monster-bug had ever been subdued by a hume. Accompanied by the memory of her company's last narrow excavation of the habits of said toad, the general stink of the tavern made the pit of her stomach churn in protest, wheeling into new dimensions of repulsion when -- that stench. One of those dogs in a hume settlement?! She bowed her head and followed the fellow elf out - mentally remarking on how terribly slow the laws of exposure coupled them to, and how anxious she was to be again in less moderated lands - she followed Elf Faelin out on his heels. So relieved was she to be out again in (relatively) untarnished air that it was a moment before she recognized that Elf Faelin took the first opportunity he had to lose his composure. (Honestly! With the faith her father claimed to have in this elf.) "I suppose a recounting of Dosvîd would fall on deaf ears," she murmured, not slowing - much less stopping - her gait bound in the general direction of away. "Though his lessons might serve you well. Why must you berate me with questions? Have I your answers?" An irritable off-handed aggression had finally trumped her vague defiance to expression. Men of a certain calibre were simply wandering about within a street's block, and the elf worried of his clan? With an apologetic sigh, she paused before continuing. "Oliviree's actions might serve us well yet. Let me relay instead to you an simple Forsian belief. The walls have mice, and the mice have ears." With no further ado, she hastened her pace to head as directly away from town as possible, northwards. |

![]() Location: Outside of La Mar City Tavern Date: Sept. 1st Time: Evening "Glad you remembered," he said, smiling again. Although her reaction was what he had not been expecting, her reaction to remembering who the guy was of which she was following out was, he couldn't help but smile wider. Clearly, this situation was what made her so pale. "Now, that you remembered, we need to stay close to the Wizard of Light and Water... although, they don't remember us right now," Ryuu said, looking over at the quickly disappearing pair. "Best we follow them to wherever they're going... although the Elf Forest isn't in the north direction. I wonder where they could be going... Shall we follow on after?" Although he had clearly asked a question, it didn't look like he was going to do anything else but follow along behind them, clearly in range of seeing distance. It was going to be interesting on where they were going. He paused, sensing another presence nearby. "Hmm... Let's go get the Elemental Wizard of Fire first, before we leave the city, otherwise, I don't know when we're going to came back here although we clearly going to have to... because of his Majesty wishing to see all of us. "Follow on after them, if you wish but I'm going to go pay a visit to the Smith's," he said as he disappeared from his place and was found moments later sprinting down the streets of La Mar City to find the Smith shop that was run by a family who worked with water. Moments later, he found himself looking at a young woman working her craft at smithing, apparently without gloves and without burning herself. "Hello," he said with a smile. |

The English Kitty Ninja

Location: Woodland outskirts Date: Sept.1 Time: Evening The woods had been very quiet. The trees above had rustled lightly with the gentle breeze that was coming through the woods, with the odd one or two leaves falling to the ground, as the time for them to shed their leaves was about to come. Sunlight had petered through the gaps in the trees, and made the underneath of the woods very dream like. Underneath the protectiveness of the branches, a deer was grazing on the grass, the leaves of the vegetation still had the taste from the year's intake of needed minerals. Hunters that were nearby concentrated on the nearby prey, and hoped that the grass that it was eating would make their kill would make it mouthwatering. However, a snap of a twig had made the deer raise its head, and bolted away from the sound, which had made the predators growl with disappointment. Like the deer, they too looked at the area where the sound came from. The sound came from a woman, the ears giving away what race she was. The elven woman was dressed in red clothing, with yellow patterns lining the edge of the finely woven cloth. Her golden hair had complemented the lining of her clothes. Normally, within the crowd, her face would be average, and no man would notice her at all. However, in these woods, the light coming from the trees had given her a sense of an ethereal beauty, with her hazel eyes standing out. She has a look of sternness within her eyes, though there was a sign of sadness within them. She reached the edge of her woodland realm, and sighed. Once she was done, she left her home, whether or not she would return being a question that was eluding her. Location: La Mar City Date: Later that day Time: Evening An hour later, she had arrived at the city which was the closest it was to her woodland realm. She walked down the nearly dead streets, the end of her staff echoing through the nearly sleeping city. She neared a tavern, with two people that was about to walk into it, and had thought about asking them where the King of La Mar was. However, someone had gripped her wrist, which had forced her to drop her staff. The mysterious force had twisted her body around, and saw three thugs that was in front of her. "Well now..." Started one of the thugs, who had gripped her wrist. "It looks like we have a stray woodland elf in our city boys. How much do you want to bet that she hasn't been touched by any of her male companions yet." The other two thugs had laughed at the comments. The first thug was sent backwards when the elf had kicked him square in the chest, releasing the grip that he had on her arm. She then stood still, allowing the mana that was in the ground to flow into her, and concentrated it to her wrists. Bracelets of gold had appeared on her wrist, which had started to turn green. The place where the metal was joined together had separated, and one end had started to grow into a large vine, with the other end coiling around her wrist. Once it was done, she had two vines around her wrists, and were in her hands. "If you want to touch me, then you'll feel the full power of Mother Earth." Her voice was elegant and fluent, as if she was born from nobility. Like her eyes, there was a tint of sadness within it. She started to walk back, her feet touching her staff. She turned around to the two figures that was nearby, and hoped that they would come to aid her. |

![]() Location: La Mar City Outside the Tavern Date: Sept. 1st Time: Early Evening The woman spoke to him as if he were a fool. He did not need her berating attitude. If she could not sense the danger of Nev...of course they could be overheard here. He was not a fool, his priorities were just different. She was right about one thing, it was time to leave, but a sudden flash of red caught his eye back from where they had just come. Ignoring the fleeing elf he was sent to meet for a moment, his ears turned to the men that had surrounded the person in red. "Well now...It looks like we have a stray woodland elf in our city boys. How much do you want to bet that she hasn't been touched by any of her male companions yet." She was clearly not defenseless, but he could hardly leave her at the hands of foul humans. He needed to help. It wasn't as if he couldn't catch up with the other elf. She could at least have told him her name. Perhaps with so much Elven philosophy in her head there was no room left for her name. "If you want to touch me, then you'll feel the full power of Mother Earth." Her voice was soft and melodic. Even as she uttered her threat he had arrived to her aid. She was not only quite breathtaking, she was refined. She appeared the very vision of beauty one expected to find in an elf. For a moment he found himself at a loss for words. Then his anger asserted itself. "Of course she is untouched," his stern voice fell on their small rounded ears, "An elf would never dream of taking a female that was not their own mate." His hand reached into the air, there was a brief moment of darkness as he stole the present light surrounding them. Condensed into a bright sphere he threw it at the first man to approach. Effectively blinded, he attacked the second human with a round house kick to the head. Any where else he would have killed them outright, but he did not was a party following after them. Humans had a penchant for retribution, it was best to not kill these where others would find them. |

Location: La Mar City Date: Later that day Time: Evening The elven lady was about to launch her attack against the three men, when a voice reached everyone's ears. "Of course she is untouched, An elf would never dream of taking a female that was not their own mate." She didn't need to turn around to figure out that the man that was behind her was an elf. However, as she saw that the sky was a little darker in the area behind her in a matter of seconds, she turned around. The elven man was not what she had been expecting, and had blushed a little bit. Just like the rest of the elves in her realm, his features were beautiful, looking more handsome than any of the humans that had roamed the lands. However, she had felt a different presence about him, as if he was important. She saw him attack the first two men, and incapacitated them with ease. She turned around to see the leader of the group was trying to run away. Reacting very quickly, she lashed one of the vines out, the end wrapping around the man's upper torso, and pulled hard. As he started to spin around in circles, she brought the other vine across his head, the force incapacitating him. Once the fight was over, she concentrated, and the magic that had created the vines drained back into the earth, with the vines shrinking with the retreating force. Like before, the vines had turned back into golden bracelets, and had disappeared from her wrists. Satisfied with the end result, she walked back to where her staff was, and picked it up. She then turned to her elven savior and smiled. "Thank you for fending off those humans. I honestly don't know how they become the rulers of La Mar. My name is Agenia Devena, though I have been known to be called Terrana. What would be your name, or do I have to call you my savior every time we meet?" She smiled, and ignored the gentle blush that she had in her complexion. |

![]() Location: La Mar City Outside the Tavern Date: Sept. 1st Time: Early Evening Faelin was impressed with her affinity for the earth, it seemed to suit her. Though he was wondering if she had really needed his help, having never seen one with that much control over an element. She seemed capable of fending for herself. Once she had dispatched the last of the ruffians and walked past him to retrieve her staff he noticed she wasn't so much beautiful as compelling. There was an earthy essence about her that made him feel...comfortable. A warmth in her hazel eyes that begged a smile from his lips. But when she spoke... his ears welcomed the gentle tone of her voice. It was refreshing after the disdain of the ellusive creature he had yet to hear the name of. "Thank you for fending off those humans. I honestly don't know how they become the rulers of La Mar. My name is Agenia Devena, though I have been known to be called Terrana. What would be your name, or do I have to call you my savior every time we meet?" His neck reddened, "Savior?" The word barely escaped his lips. Why did his tongue suddenly become stuck and reluctant to move? Gathering his scattering wits he placed his open palm to his heart and bowed slightly, "My Lady Terrana, I am Faelin. I am in a bit of a hurry, it is unsafe to remain here. Unless you have business in La Mar City, I would bid you come with us. It would appear my companion has fled, as is wise. We should do the same." He notice the slight blush to her cheeks, perhaps she was embarrassed at needing his help? At least she was courteous enough to remember the graces. They helped to separate them from the common dregs of humanity. He would prefer to stay away from the settlements of men, they did not even incorporate beauty into the surroundings of their cities. They stacked boxes together of wood or stone, dead and ordered. It was unnatural. He wanted away. |

![]() Location: La Mar City Outside the Tavern Date: Sept. 1st Time: Evening The dark brown haired male blinked as he walked around La Mar City, wondering curiously if he was going to meet up with "fate" as that fortune teller said he would. Today had been his day-off from working at the forge, relieved that he didn't have to stay someplace where someone kept barking orders at him when he obviously had much more experience himself than the "master" he was serving under. His name was already famous throughout the city, known as the master of forging for his strong blades, swords, and even metal bows... along with the occasional house knife or hunting daggers. He's heard of many things about their king and how there was a Elemental Wizard up and around. It was kind of hard to imagine that the world would now rely on a group of people whom had this responsibility thrust upon them once again to save the world from total destruction. Of course, he's done his homework. Nemesis was a person not to mess with nor is Dark Chaos, who is even worse than Nemesis actually is. Those names kept ringing a far distance recognition although he could not recognize why he felt like the name seemed familiar. That is... until a few days ago when he discovered what it was and why it was recognizable. "Hello," a voice called, a shadow peering over the man's work as he looked up. "I hear your name is Noctis Lykaon, the same as your past life." Noctis looked up, a slightly confused gaze lingered over the young male who seemed at best to be 21. He wrinkled his nose as well, realizing, that this male was half elf and vampire. It was rare nowadays to find a person who was half of those two, especially since there has been scuffles of the late between the two races, but now is on a shaky agreement and truce. "Do I know you?" he asked, his voice deep and rich, almost a slight growl like most male werewolves seemed to possess that seem to rumble from his chest. The dark raven haired male just smiled, and said, "You will soon enough, Elemental Wizard of Steel." Suddenly, he was hit with memories that were not his own and he staggered backwards in reply to this new discovery. How could that be?! How on earth could that person be me?! he thought as he tried to refocus his eyes, only to discover that his memories continued to swim before him until he calmed down and forced it so that it would be "organized" in his mind, only to be sorted out later at a later date. Calm, he finally looked up again at the the male, knowing his name was Ryuu. "Ryuu, I see you haven't lost your touch in surprising people," Noctis said rather tiredly. He nodded and said, "Well, it's time for us to come back again, as tiring as that seems. Sorry old friend, I know none of us wants to come back..." After that, Noctis had been catching up with his old friend, although he was younger than him by five years. Part of their time together, Noctis noticed that Ryuu had a hard time keeping himself in control, as if something was bothering him and when he finally asked why, he discovered that his elf side had been a bit jumpy at the idea of being so close to someone who was half dark elf and werewolf. Noctis shook his head. Ryuu got used to it now though, so it wasn't as bad as when we first met, he thought as he walked through the city. Eventually, he came to a tavern, where the scents of new elves lingered the area, two of them he immediately recognized as those that had the elements with them. The other one was Ryuu and the other one smelled of a werewolf. The smell was familiar but different from the ones he's tasted. He concluded that she must have been traveling to be carrying this scent. He watched as Ryuu dashed off in the opposite direction of where the Elemental Wizard of Light and Water were walking. Moments later, seconds before the Elemental Wizard of Light moved to save another elf from a group of thugs, he recognized the female's scent as that of Earth... the Elemental Wizard of Earth. We have a lot of elves amongst our party now? he thought as he watched, from what he heard, Faelin move to save Terrana. He cracked a smile, relieved a bit that he found those he could call his friends... although, he knew that elves of pure elf descent would not like knowing that Noctis himself is of Dark Elf descent. Moments later, he found himself beside the female werewolf he noted to himself as the Elemental Wizard of Wind, Solana. He heard Ryuu's words before he disappeared off into the city again, to find one of his fellow smiths Aquaria. He didn't speak first to the female werewolf but instead, waited for her to say something instead before walking forward after the elves. Edited by DarkAngel013, Mar 10 2009, 03:36 AM.

![]() Location: La Mar City Outside the Tavern Date: Sept. 1st Time: Early Evening Terrana looked at the elf, holding a somewhat, playfulness in her eyes. Inside, she was absolutely nervous. What if he had rejected her, and thought that she was another elf that he has seen in his lifetime? She decided to pull her feelings of hope back, and remained quiet as he spoke to her. Again, her heart had been lifted, since he had a warm tone in his voice. "My Lady Terrana, I am Faelin. I am in a bit of a hurry, it is unsafe to remain here. Unless you have business in La Mar City, I would bid you come with us. It would appear my companion has fled, as is wise. We should do the same." Her smile faded away slowly, and nodded. Although she was capable of defending herself, she did not know the regions that were outside of her woodland realm. She needed someone to help her, and perhaps Faelin was the person she was supposed to meet, and for her to show her the way. "I have heard that there was something happening within the world of La Mar, and thought that the king had needed my assistance. However, I do not know where to go, since this is the first time that I have strayed away from my own realm. Perhaps you know of the place where I need to be, Master Faelin?" She smiled again, despite her wishes. She couldn't help smiling when she was in company with another elf, despite her past misfortunes with others. |
