Name: Dark Lorienne. I don't like nicknames...

Roleplaying Experience: 2 years (in English). But I've started writing 8 years ago...

Preferred Roleplay Style: Fantasy.

Roleplaying Sample: Is a (part from a) flashback from a roleplay fine too? I wrote this a couple of months ago.

Two nights after that, Lorienne was walking back to home from the bakery. She saw that the door of her house was shattered and lying in pieces. She dropped the bread she carried, and ran inside. Fear made her heart shrink and breathing was very hard all of sudden. She found a trail of blood on the wooden floor, like if something –someone- was dragged on it, right into the kitchen.
The girl knew she was going to see something horrific, but an inner voice her told her to continue. And she did. Later on, she might have regretted this.

The door of the kitchen was also broken, it was hanging, and there was a big hole in it. Lorienne walked to the hole which was huge enough for a full grown man, maybe even a monster to be able to use as a passageway.

Suddenly, she heard a munching sound, combined with ripping, shredding and dripping.

Rip, munch, munch munch munch, munch. Silence. Munch. A sniffing sound. And a huge blood soaked wolf head appeared in the hole, some human guts on its nose, with the hand of her mother in its mouth, staring right into her eyes, and started growling, revealing the sharp, now red, deadly teeth with pieces of skin and flesh stuck between them.

Lorienne was too scared for even yelling. She tried to back away but fell. Then she jumped up, and ran away from her destroyed house. She didn’t even know where she was running to, she didn’t have a place to go. The villagers wouldn’t open up anyway; she saw windows closing. Damn ignorance. They left her doomed to die, only to not to filthy their hands. “I didn’t knew she was attacked!” they would say the next day when she vanished into thin air.

Lorienne ran, ran and ran, until she couldn’t. She fell over again, but wasn’t able to stand up. She was deadly tired. This was her limit of exhaustion.
The only thing she could do was to turn her head to look behind, were werewolves following her? But she did not, she didn’t dare to. She was so scared.

“Stay like that, and wait for your death to come. Don’t worry, you don’t have to fear for long, he’s close by. He’ll save you from your suffering, and will end your pathetic life. You weren’t even wanted, nobody loves you. It will be better like this. Really, it’s a waste that you have ever lived, shame on you!”

And yes. Suddenly, she heard the heavy breathing of something huge. The werewolf had been following her, but was playing. Her heart was beating extremely fast, maybe the werewolf wouldn’t have to kill her, she could even get a heart attack any moment.

And… the werewolf started howling. It was like a creepy, sad song, chilling your blood, and freezing all of your marrow, announcing that another villager was going to die that day. This time, it was this little girl, who was hated by everyone. And soon, the song wasn’t a solo anymore, other werewolves joined the chorus. First only from far away, but they came closer every moment. And soon, a whole pack was circling around the poor scared ten years old, and finished singing their song of death.

They started growling even harder, the magical melody disappearing, and the monsters were about to jump when…

Lorienne’s eyes were closed, so she only heard the sound of something falling down, dripping blood, and angry growls. Even more sounds of things falling came, and the dripping sound turned continuous. She opened her eyes when silence turned victorious, and noticed that she was lying in a puddle of blood. But she didn’t got bitten! Then she saw… The dead bodies of the werewolves were like the starting spot of a blood river.

The werewolves all got cut down by someone who saved her again.

“Are you alright?” the person asked her. He walked to her, and helped her up. “I apologize for coming late.”

“…J-just in time. Thank you…” Lorienne recognized the vampire who was smiling again, her eyes were filling themselves with tears again.

“Yes, I was lucky. I noticed your door, smelled the blood and heard the werewolves howling, so I just followed the sound. …No crying.”
Patting Lorienne’s head was turning into a habit. But it wasn’t a bad habit at all, Lorienne always had wanted somebody –her father of course- to do that.

When she calmed down, the vampire started talking again, “I don’t think that you can go back there, now that your mother is… No one would take you in, knowing the personality of the villagers. All the werewolves are dead now, those humans can continue ruining others’ lives.”

And then, it fell silent. Lorienne knew that she had nowwhere to go, and that she wouldn’t be able to survive on her own. She broke the silence; “I think so, too.”

The vampire seemed to think about something, and his smile was fading. But he came to a conclusion and the smile returned to his face. “I’ve just noticed I don’t know your name.”

Lorienne rolled her eyes, which was a really daring action, “Mister, you haven’t introduced yourself, too.”

The vampire nodded with a small laugh, “You are right. Let us exchange our names please?”

Lorienne sighed saddened, she didn’t really have a name. Having an unknown father, she didn’t really got one. And her mother refused to call Lorienne her daughter even once in her life, although it was very obvious she was. “Lorienne… Something.”

The vampire raised an eyebrow. Talking about it wouldn’t be a smart choice, she already was emotionally shaken. It was surprising she actually was able to talk after having seen that and being a kid.

“I could grant you a last name, if you would let me to. I have always wanted a daughter or student. Does the name Sanguis appeal to you?”

Lorienne blinked. She would say this is her lucky day if her life wasn’t completely ruined. Or maybe it was just about to start to brighten up. “I would absolutely love it! …But does it have it’s ‘requirements’?”

The vampire smiled, she was a smart child, “It has one single requirement. Having the same teeth as me.”

Lorienne blinked first, what had her teeth to do with this? She stared at the vampire’s mouth, and noticed that he had two fangs. Of course. Vampires have fangs. He probably hid them with magic until now. And she just noticed that his eyes turned into a deep shade of scarlet.

“I have to turn into a vampire?”

“You don’t exactly ‘have’ to, it’s your own free choice.”

Lorienne sighed. It will change her life completely. …But why not? Could it get any worse? Of course not!

“Does getting bitten hurt?”

“Maybe. A bit. …I don’t know, I already was born as a vampire. I’m a Noble Vampire you know. My name is Phobos Sanguis.” he explained.

And that night, Lorienne Something turned into Lorienne Sanguis.

End of the cheesy emotional flashback of a ten years old who got adopted by a vampire. :D
