Name: ShadowOfTheDeity; Shadow; SOTD. Roleplaying Experience: 3 Years. Preferred Roleplay Style: Fantasy; Sci-Fi; Cyber Punk Roleplaying Sample: Her lips parted, an unspoken question playing upon her tongue. Astra reached her ivory hand out towards the monarch butterfly in curiosity, unsure of whether it was acceptable to touch it. She looked down to her side where a doll lay against her hip. It resembled her in a manner of ways: raggedy yellow strands of yarn depicted her own curls of which were large, healthy and tight. Both wore a dress, but the doll's had been dyed emerald and hung tattered around its plush body. A giant rose-colored bow threaded itself around Lady Astrish's neck where white lace hung past its shoulders. So long ago, the sewn-in appliqué had been her grandmother's nightstand doily. Two Xs represented her eyes, and a series of stitches a smiling mouth. Fingers nor toes defined themselves on the Lady's limbs, but sorely shown the love and use the doll had gone through. Astra herself looked of a completely different story. She donned a dress of which tailored short in the front and mid-calf in the back. The sea-blue material ruffled pleasantly around her hips and presented her beautiful figure childishly. Expertly sewn by her hand, the top was but a simple and thick rectangle of bronze-brown fabric. Straps hidden by the sea-blue ruffles around her neck, a bow dyed of the tops color dangled its loose ribbons over her breast. The Voodoo priestess exhibited a timeless, angelic beauty accentuated by her clueless, fiery sapphire eyes. Fully developed, Astra held herself like a true woman, but chose to act like a young child. "Lady Astrish?" Astra asked. The doll sat lifeless. "Please don't do this to Astra. Astra will drink the tea after Astra plays with the butterfly." Silence still. The woman sighed in frustration and placed her fisted hands in her lap. Her golden brow wrinkled, she replied to the quiet of the plains: "Fine! Lady Astrish can just be that way to Astra. Astra will play with Mr. Butterfly alone." Moving her leg, she watched as the doll fell over onto the blanket. Surveying her companion, the woman-child decidedly propped it against the pick-nick basket. After she rose, she patted it on the head lovingly and began to chase her target. "Mr. Butterfly, come back!" she giggled, running barefoot in the field. Tall leaves of grass tickled her legs, and the flowers rife with pollen threatened to make her sneeze. Still, she made haste in capturing the creature, delicately closing two palms over the creature. Proudly, she marched to Lady Astrish carrying it. Crouching, she bent to show her doll the new friend she had made. "Look! Mr. Butterfly is going to join us for tea time!" A jar she had brought along for the purpose of catching Mr. Butterfly sat near her; Astra opened it and sealed the holed lid over the top. She sat completely flat on the blanket, and pulled from it a pot of what had once been freshly brewed tea. After pouring it into her cup, she took but a cautious sip before spitting it out. "Yuckie! It's coooold." The doll stared back at her. "Don't look at Astra like that. Lady Astrish knows Astra doesn't like 'I-told-You-Sos'. Astra will drink the water instead. Would the Lady like some, too?" Pulling a cup and lidded pitcher of water from the pack, she pretendedly poured a glass of water for the doll and placed it upon a small dish. Using another cup, she then poured one full of the liquid for herself and drank. Edited by ShadowOfTheDeity, Dec 28 2008, 02:21 AM.
