1. Buying Your Truck

When you first create a driver, your first step is to buy yourself a truck. As you only get $5000 the choice is fairly small.

buy the 1989 Volvo WIA64T which is available on all continents and is the best all round truck you can buy after taking out a loan of $1000. To do this all you have to do is click on the Banking link, click on request loan tab. This is what I would recommend doing.

If you decide not to take out a loan I would pick one of the following trucks:-

Europe - 1994 Freightliner FLB
North America - 1979 Ford 9000
Australia - 1995 Mack Titan

If you take out the $1000 loan, but join a company without the truck purchase discount i would recommend buying the 1987 Peterbilt 359.

2. Pick A Route

When you click on select a route, you will start off from your home City which you selected when creating your driver.

If you decide not to join a company, the best route you can choose is by clicking on, view statistics, click on city statistics then click on your home city. This will tell you what cargo your home city supplies. Then you should look for a city which demands one of the cargo your city supplies.

On TRUKZ, we have what we call hot routes. These change every thursday and Monday morning. This is the best paying routes outside contract runs. These can be found by clicking on the following link

http://www.swgarchive.com/truckz/europe/loads.htm

Click on whatever continent you are on and this will give you all the best paying routes in your continent. Always run the best price per mile route.
If Applicable you should look to see what contracts are being run. we always post our contracts and pick up cities on our bulletin board. This can be viewed by clicking on view my company and then click the bulletin tab.

If there is no bulletins, you should click on company contracts, then click on my company contracts tab at the top. This will show you active contracts that your company is currently working on. In order to find a supply city for the contract, click on view statistics, cargo statistics and then find the cargo required for your contract. This will show you what supply cities there is for your cargo. You should then proceed to your nearest supplier.

Please note, temporary suppliers change on a Thursday and Monday morning so don't head to a temp supply city unless you will make it before the cargo change.

3. Driving

Now you have selected your cargo and destination, its time to drive. On your route dashboard, you will see the MPH box, next to next leg, refuel and repair tabs. In order to drive, all you do is click on next leg. This will move you 1 hour at your current speed. At first you wont be able to break the speed limit but once you get into faster trucks you will be able to break the limits. Please never break the speed limit or top weather speed by more than 5mph.

When you move your driver, you will see your fatigue points raise to 1 and so on every time you click next leg. You should never drive past 10 fatigue points. Once you reach 10, you can refuel and repair but never drive past 10 fatigue points as this can result in crashing, getting a ticket or both.

This is just the basic steps to get you started but here we offer ongoing support, showing you how to become one of the best drivers on trukz.

I hope this guide has been helpfull and hope you join up with this great company
