Most people thought that playing golf is just a matter of taking a swing and hitting the golf ball. That's a neat of way of summarizing it but golf is truly more than that. There are more to a simple golf swing than any one would know. And as any true golfer would attest, there is a proper way to swing a golf club, other than just hacking away.

The first step in achieving the proper way to swing a golf club - and send the golf ball into the distance - is to master the setup position. A good setup position allows for a correct posture and foot placement that help you maintain balance as you swing with best golf clubs. It is important to keep your balance in order to consistently strike the ball at an even pace. Ideally, a good setup builds up the potential for a good swing.

There are different swings involve in playing the great game of golf. These are the backswing, the downswing and the forward swing, as well as other variations of these swings with best golf clubs. The backswing requires you to focus on the position of your back. Shift your body weight properly as you tilt your shoulders at a proper angle to make the best backward swing.

A good downswing requires you to shift your hip and body weight towards your left side as you turn the hip at the target. Then, as the shoulders is tilt in step with your hip movement, the club moves towards the ball.

In a forward swing, the weight of the entire body is shifted towards the left foot through the left hip, as you pull the hand holding the club. This causes the golf club to move faster.
