The first thing that is essential is fitness. No, not golf fitness etc, but fitness in general. Proper exercise and nutrition is a must for any golfer who wants to be able to survive by the 18th hole. Eating foods such as meat, vegetables and fruits will improve your golf game. Protein really builds up the muscle in your body, but don't eat too much either, as it will be stored thus creating fat.

Once on the links, take the time to stretch and get yourself mentally prepared for the game before playing with taylormade burner plus irons. The game of golf can be a tough mental challenge because a day can go from bad to worse at any moment and you've got to be able to recover and retain your focus. The first suggested exercise is gaining muscles in your legs. The technique I've found to be the most effective is:

1. Find a comfortable spot to lie down, and lift both your legs in the air.

2. Make an "L" shape with your legs from your buttocks to your feet.

3. Let one leg rest on the other for 30 seconds or longer. Do the same for the other leg. This will really build up the muscles in your legs.

Another recommended exercise for getting exercise to help you golf game is:

1. Take a few practice swings with an iron.

2. Take one hand off of the mp 59 irons and make your full swing. Do this quite a few times. This will really help build up one specific arm. Do this with your opposite hand (i.e. if your right handed, do it with your left hand.)

Once your ready to golf, the biggest step is the swing. A good swing should look as if the body moves in harmony and once contact with the ball is made, follow through correctly and you will be rewarded with good position on the green. burner plus irons are designed to deliver maximum power with as little power from the user. If you swing as hard as possible, you will likely have bad mechanics and thus putting the ball in bad locations along the course. A solid swing and great mechanics will deliver the ball further with great results.

Some tips I think will help is to have your toes, ankles, knees and thighs together. Bring the mizuno mp 59 irons over your strong hand shoulder, swing, and bring the club over across your back. As you follow through, bring your strong hand heel off the ground so that you are only on your tip-toes of the strong foot. As you practice this, you will feel more comfortable to spread your legs further apart to apply a bit more power.
