If you really want to get better, you must practice unconventional approaches and shots. Let's take a look at what unconventional practice might look like. Very few amateur golfers spend very little time working on their short game with taylormade burner plus irons. They prefer to spend most of their time hitting long shots on the driving range. To have a more effective practice you really need to work on those strange and undesirable shots that you will be inevitably presented with. Since it's impossible to think of all the shots to practice, I suggest practicing with a friend to provide the second view point you will need. Let's take a look at an example of an unconventional practice shot with burner plus irons. When your ball is in a troubled spot a lesson designed to help you keep your head down and eyes on the ball may be very helpful. Let's call this five step lesson The Look Away. First Step - Take your stance to the left of the ball if you are right handed and to the right of the ball if you are left handed. Although it may seem awkward, face away from the target. Now relax and loosen your body. Second Step - Take any club and hold it with your dominant hand facing down. The blade of the mp 59 irons should be pointing towards the ground and directly at your feet. Third Step - Placing the blade of your mizuno mp 59 irons behind the ball and turn your head slightly back in order to properly aim your shot. Fourth Step - Now you have to pull the club upwards while extending it forward. OK, now swing the club down and along the target line the best you can and follow through as far as you can. |
