Decide a concept:

Pick a breed:

Homid - open
Metis - open
Lupus - open

Pick an Auspice:

Ragabash - open
Theurge - open
Philodox - open
Galliard - open
Ahroun - open

Pick a Tribe -

Black Furies - open
Bonegnawers - open
Children of Gaia - open
Fianna - open
Get of Fenris - open
Glass walkers - open
Red Talons - open
Shadow Lords - open
Silent Striders - open
Silver Fangs - open
Stargazers - open
Uktena - open
Wendigo - open

Choose your traits 7 in your primary category, 5 in secondary, 3 in tertiary.

Physical
Mental
Social

*0 traits will be treated as a 1 in tabletop - poor, below average, inept
1-2 will be treated as 2 - average
3-4 will be treated as 3 - above average
5-6 will be treated as 4 - exceptional
7 will be treated as 5 - human maximum

**Please no more then 5 traits in a particular group at char creation. Be prepared to role play out your traits as they fall on that chart. Yes I understand that by this chart you can never be at an equivalent to table-tops all 5's. Well, no one can ever be perfect.

***I will start out the game trying a different initiative system. Initiative pools will be determined using dexterity traits + wits traits. As such, this game will hold a much stronger reliance on trait types.

Pick your 5 abilities:

*Please no more then 4 in any one ability, and no more then one 4. A 4 means that you have phd level knowledge of the ability in question. A 4 should never be taken lightly and will be turned down if not given strong backstory support.

**Please no more then two 3's, cliath's are young, you haven't had much time in your life to learn a lot. And in larp abilities mean a lot more.

***Your abilities should reflect your Auspice, you were trained during your Cub life to be your Auspice. Ragasbash's should be able to thinking, hide, perceive. Theurges should be knowledgeable, have spirit lore, be able to craft. Philodox's should be wise, knowing, be able to investigate and communicate. Galliard's should be able to tell tales, fight, support. Ahrouns should not only be able to fight, they should have athletics, they should be able to adapt to their surroundings.

Pick your 5 backgrounds:

Allies - tell me who they are, remember, they'll need your help too.
Ancestors - no more then 2
Contacts - Who are your contacts? If you don't label your contacts, then you'll get back less useful information. If you label them, they will be more limited, but if used at the right time, you may get amazing information back from them.
Influence - Only bought with freebies except for Glasswalkers.
Fetish - Build your fetish in depth, may very well be not approved.
Kinfolk - allowed.
Mentor - no more then 4, sorry no Legend mentors yet.
Pure Breed - no more then 3.
Resources - allowed but every dot you get requires that much more of backstory justification.
Rites - allowed on a point to buy system, 1 dot for a rank 1, 2 for a rank 2, etc.
Totem - You may put phantom points here for when you later join a pack, it is very much suggested that you do this, as points in totem are only buyable 1 at a time, and require story justification.

Choose your 3 gifts:

One breed, one tribe, one auspice.

*Must pick from the gifts listed as choosable gifts.

Negative traits:

Total of 5 negative traits

*may be spent on traits of the same category, abilities, or backgrounds.

Merits and Flaws:

Total of 7 flaws

*Please pick Merits and Flaws from the main book please, if you must have one from outside the book, it must be approved. Certain Merit and Flaw combinations will be turned down, even after the character has been approved.

Spend 10 freebies:

traits = 2
abilities = 1
backgrounds = 1
influence = 3 for all non-Glasswalkers, 2 for bonegnawers, 1 for glasswalkers
Gifts = 3 for rank 1 gifts (the three listed as char creation gifts) 5 for rank 2 gifts (the other 3)
Rage = 2
Gnosis = 2
Willpower = 2

*all previous rules still apply

Take note, there is a abilities are the cheapest. You will be penalized for throwing challenges for abilities you don't have. Think about buying lores and lesser abilities at 1 dot. You won't just be able to jump into the umbra all the time in this game, and doing so without higher ranks will get you in trouble, if not killed.
