Aes Sedai of the Green Ajah Posts: 324 Group: Head of Ajah Member #19 Joined: Jan 8, 2009 Power 100	The other thread was getting a bit long so I decided to start a new one. LOL Welcome to the Green thread. We are the biggest Ajah on site..full of many diverse people. We have just recently come up with an Ajah purpose and that is... The Green Ajah in the books are flirty, fighters who stand ready for the last battle. Here at TT&S the Green Ajah is a very inclusive group who strive to keep the peace as much as we can. But with saying that, we will fight for what we believe in as well as fighting for each other. We strive to be strong, and envelope ourselves in loyalty, strength, and honesty. We stand ready to do whatever the Path leaders ask of us. So enjoy talking to us ggls

Novice Posts: 117 Group: Novice Member #27 Joined: Feb 24, 2009 Power 7	Hmm...I have a 6-page paper due Monday, which I was working on today and will continue working on tomorrow; I'm on Spring Break this week, and it's been going well - however, a few people decided to stay at the restaurant where I work FORTY MINUTES after everyone else had gone. Boy, do I have some things I'd like to say about them... grumble

I watched many films where the library is a big part of the student's life and I am curious about it. Is the library so important for your lessons or the Hollywood films decieve me ?

For example, the one I'm in now has a ground floor with lots of computers, books, movies, a room with magazines and newspapers, and a little coffee shop room on the side, plus copy machines. Upstairs has books and study rooms that are really useful (especially around finals) and downstairs has archives, more books, and study areas on the side. So when there are so many resources in one place, and it's quiet, it just makes sense to go and study there. Also, because a lot of other students are here, you end up running into people you know and it makes a good excuse to avoid studying for a little bit :p I guess since studying in my room doesn't really work for me since I get distracted and I don't like the lounge in my dorm, the library just makes sense.

I went to the University of Washington (and am planning to go back shortly) and I LOVE the library. It was HUGE, well- there were several of them too. I didn't use it at first though either Kram Sedai, the first quarter or so I went in, looked up and down and tried to find something useful once... and left. It wasn't until I had to do work in there for my on-campus job and actually LEARNED to use the library that I began using it. I LOVED IT, all three buildings and all 5 floors. (I didn't work at the library so I was only allowed access to 5 floors.) I guess getting to learn the ins and outs of the library was a brilliant idea and a really valuable lesson. Even if you don't think you need it, I suggest investing in learning the skills anyway. le sigh I still want to be cliche and make out with someone in the stacks someday.... doesn't seem to be a reality, at least not at UW.... look oh, and Hello There Greens! \o/ How are you?

LOL The Library at my school while fun to hang out in for a bit really isn't where I study or anything. I use it for the computers every so often but mostly I just ignore it to get to class and such. The few times i've been in there to actually study well there were to many loud people in there which made it a little pointless.
