Fire & Air Bender

The fire nation ships rounded around the southern isle containing the southern air temple as they fled from the souther water tribe. There was no sign of any water benders as the soldiers began to relax once again. The commander looked towards the air temple as they passed, as he knew that they would return in a short period of time. Two fire benders guarded a cell in the brig that contained only a girl in blue water village garb. |

A mist flowed behind a small water tribe ship that only carried 5 people, two water benders moved the water around the ship propelling them at great velocity. They were trying to catch the two fire nation ships that escaped. It would still be a short amount of time before they would catch up. "We will arrive soon. We'll wait until dark and use a mist to ambush them." The female water bender said as the rushed along the water. ------------------------------ On board the ship a girl stirred awaking from her unconsciousness. As she slowly got to her feet she keeled over in pain. Her stomach hurt from when she was hit. She propped herself against the wall as she stood once more. She made her way to the door and pounded on it. "Where am I? Why am I here?" Rika yelled to the metal cage not knowing if anyone on the other side could actually hear her. "Quiet in there!" said one of the guards. "Our commander has seen it necessary to capture you. Now if you are a hostage or someone to be interrogated well, thats up to debate!" the guard began to laugh. "At any rate, you should probably get used to the sight of metal bars." he continued to laugh.

Ryu nodded. Ambushing would be the better idea, seeing Water Bender's strength was increased during the night and the Fire Benders were less powerful without the sun. How could such a genius plan be so simple? Ryu looked up into the sky, wanting it to be night time soon. The moon reminded him too much of Amai and when it was out, he felt like she was more with him than during the day time. "Let's go knock some skulls," Ryu smirked, a bit excited to fight some more fire benders. |

"Well give it another hour we should catch up around then. We'll be near the Southern Air Temples at the time. Which means they will have to slow down a little bit to go around them." One of the warriors said as they continued to sail at a constant pace. -------------------------------------- Rika got up and began to pace the cell a little bit. "Can I at least have some food or water? It's been a whole day that I've been cooped up in here." Rika asked as she got all the way across the cell and sat against the wall. The guard laughed. "You are a prisoner of the Fire Nation, we owe you nothing!" he exclaimed. "However, if you ever find yourself in need of some fire, just let me know!" |

"I'm sure even if you wanted to you couldn't attack me without orders from your commander," Rika taunted the guard mainly because she was pissed off. She couldn't believe she had gotten herself into this situation. |

Another set of footsteps could be heard. The guard smiled. "Well, I may not have permission to attack you, but this guy certainly does!" The door swung open, and a man was standing there, clad in normal fire nation gear, without the helmet. The man was tall, about 200 pounds and had a top not and goatee. She could see many scars on his face, and he seemed to be in his 30's. The man approached her and kneeled down so he was at eye level. "Well, little girl," the man began in a deep voice, "you are going to tell me everything you know. When you tell me the truth, I will give you some water." he said, patting a container on his hip. "But should you hold back or lie..." he held out his hand. A small jet of intense flame protruded from each of his finger tips. "I know a couple of ways to get you to talk..." he said, admiring his fire. The door slammed shut, and once again the guard laughed. |

Damn you have to be kidding me. I guess the only thing to do is cooperate. Rika though to herself as she squinted. "What do you want to know?" She nodded to him when he said that if she answered truthfully he would give her water. |

"Ah yes, thats a good girl. Now, who was that powerful water bender that was leading the assault on our ships?" the interrogator asked, placing a cup in front of Rika. |
