MERCENARY Posts: 69 Group: Members Member #10 Joined: Aug 4, 2008	Character Details Name: Kyoto Age: 17 Gender: M Bending Type: Non-Bender Nation Of Origin/Current Location: Fire Nation/Western Air Temple Status: Bounty Hunter/Neutral Items/Weapons: Kyoto wields dual Jian's (straight swords) that belonged to his cousin. The hilt on both are black engraved with a strange unknown symbol on them. He also carries a small bag that holds small food items for him and his pet. On his back are two sword sheaths for his weapons. Background: Kyoto is a bounty hunter who travels around the four nations searching for all those with a hefty price on their heads. He is a mercenary and has no alliegiance to any nation. Kyoto originated from the Fire Nation, where he spent his child hood traveling with his older cousin Jurojin, who was also a bounty hunter. Kyoto's entire family was part of the Fire Nation army, but in an attempt to kill some dragons for glory, the entire group had been decimated as the dragons outnumbered them. At the time both Kyoto and his older cousin were to young to join their nations army. Years later.. After the Fire Nation lord learned that his cousin would not join the nation after what happen to their family without being paid he was banned then tracked down. Kyoto and his older cousin were later found in the Earth Kingdom. Jurojin fought with pride as he defended his younger cousin Kyoto, defeating over 20 firebenders before being struck down from behind. Kyoto hid nearby in a group of bushes watching his cousin die before him.. As he laid on the ground gasping for air, a firebender stood over him blocking Kyoto's view. Blue flames ignitied his cousins body leaving only black ash covered ground; Kyoto quickly ran away from the battle field mounting his cousins giant eel hound in-which he called raven. 5 Month's later.. Kyoto traveled for many days and nights getting as far from the fire nations squad of soldiers. Kyoto had traveled north of the fire nation and seemd to stumble over a strange temple. It seemed that Kyoto has came across the Western Air Temple. It seemed that only female air-benders were seen here.. The people welcomed Kyoto and his pet Raven into the temple with open arms. 5 Years later.. Although spending years of learning not to be violent but spiritual with the monks of the air temple Kyoto's family and cousin still remained in his heart til this day. While at the air temple although not being a bender the fighting style of the air benders has be in-herited by him. Using swift, evasive maneuvers he utilizes circle walking, which makes it difficult for his opponents to attack directly or land a blow. Maneuvers employ the entire body with smooth coiling and uncoiling movements, utilizing dynamic footwork, open-hand techniques, and throws. When kyoto decides to implement a weapon into his fighting style he would be a devasting opponent for any bender or non-bender. Kyoto still remains at the temple training and working to grow stronger, to pursue his bounty hunter career. Personality: He is self-assured and confident, also possesses a sarcastic wit Character Appearance Hair Color: Black Eye Color: Golden/Red Pupil Clothing: Kyoto's outfit consists of a tan hooded long sleeve shirt that is brown around the edges of the hood, and from the elbows to the wrist. His bottoms are also made in this fashion being tan and brown on the edges by his ankle. On his face he sports a brown mask that matches his outfit. This mask doesn't cover his entire face, just from his nose and down leaving his eyes exposed. When bounty hunting or fighting he sports a tan oni mask similar in design to the blue spirit mask. Skin Tone: Brown Height: 5'11 Weight: 165 Physical Description: a slender young warrior, that is well in shape. His face his rarely seen since he is still on the run from the Fire Nation. He is not overly muscled but well toned, that truly shows how hard he has been training.
