Sing Li awoke from his sleep, as it just seemed to peaceful to him. He stood as he advanced outside of his parents former home, as he slowly brought his eyes upwards to the sky. His parents remained in both his mind and heart, peering into the sky as if they were looking down upon him. Seconds passed before he brought his pupils from the sky above and focused them on the great wall that supposedly protected the city. The inner walls of Ba Sing Se came into view as the carriage slowed. They passed the outer wall with ease, nothing being destroyed or anything. The inner walls were what scared him the most though. It was like the ultimate judgment. Hyr looked at the carriage as it rode away from him, and he sighed. Quickly, he made his way to the inner wall where he was stopped by Ba Sing Se guards. "Stop. What have you come to do in Ba Sing Se" One of the guards asked. Hyr looked at them with his brown eyes, then smiled. "To Train with an Earthbending master." The guards nodded, and the walls in front of him moved aside as he made his way into the city. It seemed to cultural, so historic. The skin on his arms tingled with goosebumps. It was time he was finally going to learn more advanced techniques. The walls closed behind him as he made it all the way in, his eyes gazed back at them as he turned his body adjacent to them. "Ba Sing Se, eh? I guess this is where I'll make a new life." He stood there for moments on end before beginning to walk again, but his strides were small and he moved slowly. He wanted to take in everything in front of him. |

Sing Li watched as a carriage came into view, leaving an unknown man behind. He attempted to get a closer look, but really couldn't get a good image of the unknown person as he made his way to the city of Ba Sing Se. As the man was approached the entrance Sing Li stood at about 30 yards from where the guards at stopped the newcomer. Seconds passed as the guards let the stranger pass and enter into they city. He stood there just watching wondering who this strange man was, as he continued to eyeball the man without worry. Sing Li thought to himself thinking the man must also be an earth bender. There was only one way to find out. He slowly began to approach the man without any words developing, or any questions being thought of. Slowly following the carriage, Ayame was traveling on foot to the great Ba Sing Se. Her feet ached from the long travels she had to endure. She came to a halt, seeing the carriage she was following had stopped due to the guards. After the carriage had passed the guards had asked her a similar question. "Halt. What do you need within this city," One of the guards questioned. Clearing her throat Ayame responded, "I have come to explore the depths of the city as well as practice some Earth Bending. I have heard great tales of the masters that live within this great city." One of the guards nodded, stepping aside to let her pass through. She looked up ahead into the great city. It had been more breath taking that she could have ever imagined. |

Hyr felt uneasy about something..Like someone was watching him. He couldn't exactly feel the vibrations in the ground yet, so he quickly turned around and started to get into an earthbending stance, but he stopped midway noticing it was someone that was native to Ba Sing Se. He lowered his arms to his side as the man walked up to him. Brown orbs stared at the man as he blinked, and removed the cloth wrapped around his head. "Do you need something? Sing Li stood there as the man approached him seeing that the newcomer meant no harm. As he stood there watching the man, then unknown man began to remove a cloth that surrounded his head. Sing Li's lips began to form words, as sound escaped from them. "No, I was just making sure you where not an outsider that had bad intentions in mind. Even though if you were you wouldn't tell me, you don't seem to be to bad. So what brings you to Ba Sing Se?" Sing Li eased up a little as the conversation began to start. Hyr blinked once before he fully took in what the man had said and asked. He thought for a moment before responding. "I've come to Ba Sing Se to learn Earthbending..eventually I want to be a sandbender like no other." He looked around then turned back to the man. "I'm Hyr, from Omashu." Hyr smiled as he rubbed the back of his head. "Are you an earthbender?" His question ran ten times through his head before he even had asked it. Though he didn't want to be nosey, he just wanted to ask to see who he might see in the future as Earthbending prodigies. |

Ayame walked by the the two men who were engaged in chit-chat. She couldn't help but over hear the words "Earth Bending." She didn't want to seem rude nor like she was listening on their conversation. She needed to train with a fellow Earth Bender, none the less. "Excuse me," Ayame said softly, approaching the two, "I couldn't help but overhear that one of you is an Earth Bender? I've been looking for someone to train with. In fact, that's part of the reasons I came to this great city." |

Sing Li nodded as the newcomer replied revealing himself to be Hyr, from Omashu. Hyr gained his interest as he wanted to be a metal bender himself. "Yes, yes I am an earthbender and one day I will gain the title of being called a master of metalbending." He looked at Hyr, after hearing of wanting to be a sandbender, but before he could continue the converstation with Hyr they were interrupted by a young woman. "Well from what I've gained, both him and I are earthbenders, he said." Sing Li paused for moment thinking this would be a great chance to increase his earthbending techniques by practicing with two other earthbenders. He nodded at the young woman, "Well it seems you are in luck, atleast with me that is.. I'm not to sure if Hyr is willing to train with you, but as for myself I think the three of us training together would increase our overall skills by learning from each other." Sing Li looked back at Hyr, then back at the young woman wondering how both of them appeared in Ba Sing Se at the exact same time and moment. Ayame nodded, pleased that she had meet two Earth Benders to train with. Even if the other did not approve of her, she was glad that one of the men accepted her. Though she tried to hide her excitement, she cracked a smile. "Thank you," Ayame said sweetly, "It's always a pleasure to meet a fellow Earth Bender to sharpen my skills with. Though, it seems like I haven't trained in forever. The travel here was long, causing a temporary halt to my training." |
