Posts: 7 Group: Ravenclaw, 1st Year Member #6 Joined: 26 July 2009	Liam Was sitting in one of the plush deep blue armchairs holding a transfiguration textbook in one hand and his wand in the other. He was currently in the process of turning a mouse into a teacup. 'no no thats not right' Liam whispered to himself looking at the startled mouse with a teacup handel sticking out of it's back. Liam sighed and quickly fixed the problem and tried again, this time more succesful. The mouse sqeaked and suddenly turned into a furry teacup. Liam grinned and scooped up the sqeaking cup and quickly turned it back into a mouse again. He had never really been able to get the hang of transforming things properly. The other first years in his class seemed to have the same trouble as him. only two were able to succesfully turn their mouse into a shiny little cup. The daily prophet which liam's friend recieved this morning lay on the table infront of him announcing another death. A poor old squib in london had been bruataly murdered. The magical law enforcement squad was unabled to locate the one responible as evidence points to the killer being an inferius of the womans deceased husband. Everyone is informed to take caution when walking near old grave sites or abandoned buildings. Liam sighed and pulled out a sheet of parchment and a quill. he'd been eager to send a letter to his parent's ever since term started. After he'd finished adressing his letter he handed it to his friend's owl which they shared for mail and watched it fly out the window. Liam sat back down on the chair and looked at the paper again. he didn't understand why everyone was so afraid of this he-who-must-not-be-named fellow. A few students tried to explain to him but it only confused liam more. he would have to just continue asking around until he found someone who could explain it to him properly.
