callum, i personally run Synchro's in either a specific deck or my six sams.

although the Sams wins more, it synchro's a lot less often. so my advice is, if you're using trap cards that inflict damage when synchro's are summoned or attack (can't remember what they are called) then go purely for a synchro deck - put in a lot of cards that stay on the field or get something better to the field, or just drag summat else out with it (my favourite is Marauding Captain -> Junk Synchron -> Gaia knight force of earth. can be done all in one go, and has a tasty attack power.

thats my 2 cents anyway.

if you wanna win like normal but have another strategy, just throw a couple of tuners into a regular deck. if you wanna make a good pure deck, make it pure, make it strong, make it fast.

I trust you'll make the right decision.

i'll be posting my Synchro deck up on saturday (prolly) when i get back to my cards - if you wanna steal some ideas from that just to tweak your deck a little, you're welcome to.

-1 Infernal Prodigy (seriously, wtf?!?!?)
-1 psychic commander (seriously, better to go all psychic or none)
-1 Scapegoat (replaced with stronghold - more chance of survival, same level, less space
-1 shrink (your goal with this is to be strong, not make them weak)
- 2 Emergency Teleport ( not enough psychic monsters... never really was, but now, definatly not)
-1 COSR (not enough ways to bring monsters back to justify 2 of them)
-1 urgent tuning (as far as i know, its not even out yet)
-1 gladiator beast Gyzarus ( over the 15 card extra deck limit)

And thats how i'd fuck up your deck to make it (hopefully) better. i'll admit its not perfect, but i was trying to keep in what you already had for the most part - and i don't have my synchro's to hand to compare

D.D. Crow stops Malicious, Darius, Lumina, Beckoning Light, Mezuki, Book of Life, Zombie Master and Monster Reborn - all of which are played a lot.

how does it stop monster reborn? there can be more than 1 ripe target in the grave to bring back.

as i said in one of the notes, this deck isn't about stopping your opponent bringing stuff out, its about stopping them from killing you until you can get YOUR power out.

plus, remove stuff is for pussies.

i don't know what the hell this is planning and besides i hav ideas for my deck, its not bad my deck isn't but seriously giv skalamanda the deck and he go mad!

p.s. why scrap iron scarecrow? i prefer threatening roar in there and plus learn how to count, my extra deck adds up to 15

Xaiolinrai, a quick comment on your changes...

1. You seem to be claiming that Toby's rulings for DD Crow are wrong. Upon activation, you must select a target with Monster Reborn. At which point, DD Crow is chained. The monster is then removed and the target for Monster Reborn is gone.

2. 'Stopping your opponent until you bring something big out' doesn't work as a strategy... You can Waboku all you want, a field of Synchros isn't going down.

3. Giving yourself a single target for Emergency Teleport won't work. You don't need to work about paying 800 to negate, when you hit with a Synchro as a counter.

4. Why are there random recruiters being run here?!

5. COSR's targets; 3 Quillbolt Hedgehog
3 Junk Synchron
1 Monster Reborn <<< That's 7 in the deck alone.
3 Stardust Dragon
1 Colossal Fighter <<< Now we're on 11, a quite suitable number for two.

6. Waboku, outside Gladiators, isn't worth being run. It basically gives your opponent a free draw, because your turn was a stall. When playing Gladiator (which is fairly common), you may as well just destroy your cards on the field.

7. Scrap Iron Scarecrows too easily destroyed to be played...

8. Stronghold >> 1 Monster, basic defence, difficult to Tune yet easy to destroy.
Scapegoat >> 4 Monsters, which means they require more difficult removal. Easy to tune, because you have 1-4 Stars available.

9. DD Crow shuts down so many cards it's unbelievable. Rather than stall, why not stop?! And you don't know when the opponent has it, so it's hard to preempt.

If you're unhappy with what I've said, I'll duel your deck with Callum's built at present. But don't come on to our forum and;

i) insult Callum, only Aurochs are allowed to do that.
ii) disprove rulings without proof.

1) i didn't claim it was wrong. I just believe its a pisspoor idea to put a card in your deck that only serious use is *if* they happen to play card X, Y or Z, AND you have that.

2)exactly? and if my monsters keep getting killed, i can't bring out synchros, can I ^^

3)in my own deck, i wouldn't use emergency teleport - and probably not krebons. i was just trying to keep some of his own cards there...

6)wrong. Difference between YOU wouldn't use it outside gladiators and being USELESS outside gladiators.
i'd see your point if you are topdecking, but i would seriously not like to be topdecking in a synchro deck, as its easy to get completly fucked - so you need a recovery plan in hand (if you can). also, keeps your monsters out if they are CURRENTLY overpowering you?

7) meh, can make it work once or twice at least probably - and stopping a couple of attacks is useful.

8) thats a fair point, i'll concede it. i just preferred it for survival as if you need 4*, its harder to kill than 1 scapegoat.

9) DD crow just doesnt fit with synchros IMHO. Synchros are about getting stuff out to pound your opponent down. DDCRow is useful, but not perfect... and not useful if you draw it too late, or if your topdecking, or if you get no monsters besides it for a few turns... i'll admit, as i don't own one (due to RFP hatred) i forgot it was during both turns.

also, that post didn't insult callum.... and i don't see what your problem is.
i was also just building that deck off the top of my head, doped up on painkillers 50 miles away from my deck, so its not perfect, oh no.
also, i questioned no ruling in this thread AT ALL.

seriously... .you guys need to chill apparently....
