AuRa is a Guild made for dependable, mature World of Warcraft players to enjoy the game, and accomplish End-Game goals. We strive to help everyone, and make sure that gameplay and rewards are fair. Because of this, AuRa uses a DKP (Dragon Kill Points) system to better server our members and make sure that everyone gets something they want when they work for it. Unfortunately, dependable and honor members are not easy to come by, so we have Rules and Guidelines set in place to help maintain a fair atmosphere for all members. Drama It's unavoidable, and undeniable that at some point arguments will ensue. However, how you deal with these arguments is what matters. Egging on, or provoking an argument is frowned upon. Name calling, discrimination, and anything considered in bad taste that is said in Guild or on Vent will be dealt with by leaders. If you must argue, just take it to a Whisper, and deal with it out of Guild. One members opinion is not necessarily the view of the entire Guild, so please keep this in mind. Begging Begging will not be tolerated. This includes begging for Gold, Instance Runs, or whatever it may be. I realize people need help, and there is nothing wrong with politely asking. But don't expect someone to stop what they're doing to give you whatever you want. Everyone has things they want to do, and if you do not fit into those plans, you need to let it go and be an adult about it. In or Out A member who leaves is gone. It's as simple as that. We will not be re-inviting you time after time because you feel like being an immature brat who wants the attention. We don't have time, room, or desire for it. If you want to join a respectable Guild and earn yourself some cool shit, stick around. But we will not tolerate this particular kind of drama. Stay in the Guild, or leave, because we're not going to relying on a flake. Don't take it personally We're more than willing to invite your friends to the Guild. We're willing to give just about everyone a chance. But if your friend is constantly starting arguments, or doing something on this list that they shouldn't be, basically causing trouble that no one wants to be around; we will not hesitate to remove them from the guild. This is not an attack against you, or the member. This is the maintain the Guild the way in which we desire it. The In or Out rule applies here as well, if you leave because you take a friend being kicked personally, then we will take that as you do not want to belong in our community. Breaks We all need a break from WoW/End-Game sometime. If you desire to leave the guild Temporarily, let an officer know before you do it, and the reason why. If you explain why you're leaving, and it's for a legitimate reason, chances are you will be more than welcomed back. These Guidelines may be subject to change, including additions and subtractions that we see fit. There can be exceptions to these guidelines, of course; if an Officer see's it fit. |
