Hello all, So I am finally going to have a NAS at some point next week. Just one issue.. I am currently running a Openreach fibre modem that is piggy backed into a Talktalk router. It's a bit crap. Anyhoo, IIRC one of the LAN ports of the four on the TT router is being used by the modem, leaving me only three ports. They are all in use. I have two PCs wired into the router and also my Youview box (because it does not do wireless, nor would I want to use wireless with it). So what do I need? a simple hub/switch? or a different router? One thing I need to point out. I am a complete noob when it comes to networking. In all my years of using computers it was the one thing I never bothered to learn as I found it frustrating, annoying and boring. I want the easiest solution to this please, hopefully some sort of plug and play Thank you I did not find the right solution from the internet References : https://forums.bit-tech.net/index.php?threads/what-do-i-need-hub-or-router.322075/ Information Technology Promotional Video Edited by victorgrant, Jan 30 2018, 07:52 AM.
