Well now I'm confused. Wouldn't your suggestion automatically grant him a seat anyway? |

If you do not have faith in more than half of the proposed elder council then perhaps you should look reassess your position as part of this council. (ooc: damn lecture, be back in a few hours) Edited by Aurzel, 13 Mar 2012, 16:39.

an equal seat where he alone speaks only for his organisation, not him speking for his organisation, his land, and as one of the lords which the current set up would suggest (irrespective of Asthvan being present there, Varis is too powerful a figure to not be taken as speaking for all the lords) |

We return to the point where This is pointless, If your crimes are to be decided by this council of which there are several cases then you cannot have a seat. You are not a judge to your own actions.

You have missed my point, an elder council made of the heads of each organisation means that the power is balanced across all who it might affect. An elder council as Kel suggested swings the balance of power into the hands of just a few. |

No but one of my organisation can go in my place. Afterall the proposal is that this council sits in judgement of all and decides other issues to prevent such arguments as have been seen. As such the fairest way is for every organisation to sit upon it, not merely those chosen by a handful of individuals. |

Well then limit the amount of power. Either by legend, or by land. If both then you give one up and let some one else step up. Oh and maybe the reason I'm loyal to Varis is because I feel he's done far more good for Athesia than bad. |

It must be just a few this council is to be a council of criminal law not to overrule the rest of athesia. This is to determine whether members of the council as of now are worthy of that title. |
