Excuse me but while I commend this idea, The head of each organisation would be the better solution. For while Markus' organisation operates within the dark plains and can be said to represent some part of it, he does not have sovereignty of the lands there, and decisions made could impact upon such sovereignty. I would also like to point out that the differences between our organisations and there make up mean that having the system proposed by Kel would give far too much weight to some who are often the ones involved within the disputes. By having it set up as organisation it might also encourage others to work more with other members of the council, than stand alone meddling in every singular dispute. The fairest way that I can see that would represent all is the head of each organisation, and if there are a number outside of an organisation they elect a representative fro themselves. |

Indeed 7 does work well, however it seems that the reason for those 7 makes it a very limited choice of people. |

Ok iwill try to be polite as it appears my previous comments may ofnot been picked up on. Markus is not the sole representative of the Plains, in the same way that Varis is not of the Broken Lands. It is fairer to choose by head of Organisation, than by individuals based upon origin or legend. Those outside of the organisations then elect someone to represent their views. |

The only way to decide on origin I seems is to have a vote and that will have to be done when the majority of the rest of the council are in attendance or have greater time to take part. |

I would be happy to represent the Dead Wastes and the Reclamators in such an endeavour, and concur with Kelshaz and Dargan's suggestions of representatives (me, Dargan, Markus, Varis, Kelshaz, Roshana and a yet undetermined representative of the Fey Woods and their organisation(s)). I dislike, however, the idea of a yearly vote of who should be members of the council. Rather, I think it would be preferential for council members to be removed should half of Athesia or greater can for a vote of no confidence in any member of the council, preferably with whom they would wish to see in their place as well. |

It's also by my reckoning, the only way you would be guaranteed a seat on this council? Edited by Flint Flagon, 13 Mar 2012, 16:31.

Oh no I was suggesting a single vote. And perhaps Slath i Faigh would be a good representative for the woods And the court of seasons. |

I will put it this way then - Myself and my organisation will not bend to a will of a council that excludes from it those of us that have soverreignty upon land within Athesia. You wish for this council to truly be representative then you take the membership from those organisations present. If you do not then it is not truly representative of how we function as a council, and as such I am against any idea. |
