To the Duke Devante, the Baron Gerath, Count Vorhees, the Baron Feugo and Countess Spellmeyer, Greetings and salutations. I hope this message reaches you with speed, and finds you all with good health. I wish for us to meet and discuss matters of import that affect all the peoples of the plains. As some of you may be aware I govern certain lands within the plains, under the sovereignty of Kiya, King of Athesia. What I wish to offer you is simple: There are too many external threats for us to stand apart from one another, I suggest that we meet and discuss how best to do what is right by the peoples of the plains. Please let me know your response via the messenger I have sent to you. Yours Francis Domingez Heir of the Dawn |

You seemed to have sent the letter to the Council Chambers Francis. Might want to try getting a better/less lazy courier. |

I believe that Father Francis sent this letter to the council for approval, seeing as he does not believe that Lords should act without consulting each other. |

One would hope so Tacitus but then Father Francis is known for doing his own thing. |

Pardon - of all the lords you accuse me for acting upon my own without consulting. This missive was indeed sent here for approval but for that I think now I shall take my example from the Lords Varis and Marcellus and act without consulting you. Good day to you all! |

I apologise if my tone seemed accusatory Francis. You should indeed take your example from the other lords ... by consulting the council. |

No he does not Aurzel, this exactly the place for such a suggestion, after all we need to ready diplomats. |

Let me see the example fo the other lords: Varis - consults the council over the situation with the fey and ignores the pleadings of many not to do it. Marcellus - Takes it upon himself to murder an ally of ours, giving up their soul to some unknown entity that is yet to prove either friend or foe. Yet I act without consultation? I voice my opinion but have always yielded to the decision of the council. Yet as you say I should take my example from the other lords, and as such consultation will not take place on anything. |

If you would like our input, then thank you for asking Francis. Could you please also include Lorenzo Devante in your missive, as I am sure that he would wish to be involved. If you feel that his presence would undermine the validity of any such meetings however, then I am sure he will understand your decision. Markus. |

I would like to meet with Lorenzo, but I am not sure wholly on how the House Devante will react so I would prefer a seperate meeting with him. We already know him to be truly good and effectively on our side therefore at this initial outset of negotiation I figured he might cause hinderance than help. |
