That is truly not what happened is it as when presented with the plan, which to clarify once more for those hard of hearing was a ruse, you gleefully went along with idea, suggesting we present it to Asthvan. So you were actually prepared to stab Varis in the back as long as you were not the one wielding the Knife. Marcellus you are a deceitful person, who has given us no reason to trust you, and you failed at the test. You would though had passed if you had disagreed with the plan and told Varis or nopt told Varis. It was a way to test you adn you failed. |

We were there - we saw what happened, he called for the East wind, it arrived, he killed our ally and some creature/shadow thing came along and stole its soul. I am sorry but if you think political ruses are more important than what Marcellus has done be my guest, or how abouts we focus on dealing with Marcellus. |

How else is one to learn about a plot unless they go along with it, it seems it was you yourself that failed Francis. |

Well then francis now you have stated your point let me respond I spared her the suffering of being part of that abomination and robbed it of power, I will hapilly accept judgement if you will do the same otherwise I will defend myself I will however not apologise for attempting to save a life or stop a catastrophe, I consider you no better than the witch finders in that case |

That is proof that he killed Shyraide nothing more, and given the circumstances I would have done the same thing if the decision were mine. |

His response was not to merely go along with the plot to discover the plot, but made suggestions (which I turned down) that would have made the situation even worse. |

You doubt what you saw and heard with your very own eyes and ears? |

I did see the soul corrupted and taken away (or at least I assume I did). I did see Marcellus rip the soul from the elemental. What I did not see is Marcellus offer this soul up to any beings, it was taken away seconds after it left the elemental. |

All we saw was the General being dragged towards the spell. Marcellus offered no help, no warding BUT KILLED OUR ALLY IN COLD BLOOD. He has attempted to get the council to focus upon theoretical trivialities that did not concern so many of the council, as a method to shift blame form himself. We all know what we saw, and we should try Marcellus accordingly. |
