I don't know if you caught something I didn't Havwarlen but I didn't see Marcellus make such an offering. He removed the soul yes but the rest seems to have been completely out of his hands. Further, no one is denying Shyraide's people from benefiting from the alliance we outlined. Whether Marcellus acted or not, she would have died. |

I must defend Poor Marcellus's honour. He is somewhere missing, possibly dead. I think this act has proven the rabbits true, evil nature. Marcellus would never act in such a manner. |

Marcellus did what he thought he had to do, in my eyes at least. Who knows, perhaps had he not done so, we may not still all be standing after that battle. (OOC: Tacitus, I love you XD) |

Arianna, we would have still been standing, but upon this issue it is more troubling that Marcellus has clearly allied himself with a very powerful force external to Athesia, and is medling with Magiks one possibly ought to leave well alone. While many will know of the problem I currently have with the Vanir, I refuse to grant them power of such magnitude, as I truly hope to one day rid myself of their infernal curse and send them all to the hell they truly deserve. Marcellus has offered and given the soul of a very powerful ally to a very powerful force which has yet to prove itself friend or foe, and also has acted in a manner that could endanger Athesia, and has done so ACTING ALONE WITHOUT CONSULTING ANYONE OF US, something for which I am often accused, yet I have never willfully gone against the councils decision, merely voiced openly my opinions. Marcellus has done great harm to our alliance, at the very minimum and as such should face punishment for his actions. |

Ok Francis, next time any of us is in a battle for our lives and have to make a split second decision, we'll be sure to ask everyone to stop so we can discuss the decision. |

No but before we make such pacts with other creatures of such unknown power, they should consult the council, after all if I were to simply decide on my own to make a deal with the shadowfell there would be hell to pay, as such Marcellus making a deal with something that powerful and using it as such should have consequences. |

Yes there would be, if they assumed you were speaking for the entire council. If you wished to make a seperate deal of your own then that would be your choice. Some people might get angry much in the same way they did at Varis' decision to ally with the fey but that's the way things are. |
